Role Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for managing accounts and driving sales for the company’s portfolio of products. The Sales Representative provides ongoing support to their market and Brand team members to ensure the proper ordering, distribution, receiving, and account success across their territory.
Key Responsibilities

- Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining accounts and assisting resellers in attaining new accounts

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities*: The Sales Representative / Brand Ambassador’s main responsibility will be to market, sell, and manage wholesale products to various dispensaries across the state. - Maintain current processed product knowledge as well as plant material/flower knowledge and trends.

Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and deliver agreed-to results by presenting, promoting, and selling to existing and prospective licensed customers in the defined territory using compelling arguments.
Develop personal skills to grow with Green Ox as the business grows.
Planning
- Analyze the market opportunity in the assigned territory
- Create plans to meet weekly and monthly sales goals with new and existing customers
- Track prospects and sales through the sales funnel
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Coordinated sales effort with team members and with other departments
- Draft creative / adapted sales tools to increase performance standards
Execution
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and other KPIs within schedule
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Generate new leads by cold calling / emailing new prospects
- Develop and manage revenue pipeline by converting leads to prospects and then to customers
- Assist customers by implementing sell-through programs
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services

Prior cannabis business sales experience, from brand to dispensary, is required. The perfect candidate will be someone with active relationships with California dispensaries who can quickly achieve sales targets. You will also need to be willing to make cold calls and establish relationships in your territory.
This is a commission-based independent contractor position located in California. The more you sell, the more you make!
