Carbon Cannabis is seeking an experienced individual to assist in our manufacturing and production operations. They will be responsible for safely and effectively mixing bulk ingredients into high quality cannabis based edibles, tinctures & topicals. This is an entry level position that is best suited for a candidate that has interest in the industry and growing with our company as it evolves.
Responsibilities include performing his/her duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all SOP and regulations based on product. They will assist in all filling and manufacturing procedures in an efficient manner that also complies with FDA GMPs, OSHA regulations, company SOP’s and all applicable laboratory procedures.
They will work closely with supervisor and owners to ensure that production demands are met with the highest quality of products with special attention to cleanliness and timeliness of production so as to meet customer and company standards.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Production: Executing manufacturing and supply of manufactured goods
- Backstock; Managing backstock, planning future production, ordering raw ingredients
- Assist in Product Development
- Clean Room Protocol
- Meeting Regulatory and Compliance Standards Duties and responsibilities
- Understand and ability to execute all aspects of edible production.
- Work with supervisor to meet department goals around efficiencies, yields.
- Work with supervisor to develop new and innovative products
- Ability to operate in a laboratory-type environment including distillation, CO2, hydrocarbon and other solvents
- Work with supervisor to develop production department work flow, and step by step process and procedure for training module
- Ensures consistency and efficacy of product through quality control testing and procedures
- Creation of all batch production records and labels in accordance with the State and local standards
- Works with laboratory to send samples for regular testing of extracted product and document all results for compliance with SOP.
- Ensures the appropriate information is accurate and listed clearly.
- Maintain records of each batch and necessary information.
- Following appropriate control measures to prevent mixing of dissimilar production components while following Good Manufacturing Practices
- Performing in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceeds company specifications and patients’ expectations. Such quality assurance work shall include but not be limited to:
- Recording and monitoring process conditions to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures
- Proper weighing, data recording, and batch tracking throughout company process
- Work with 3rd party laboratories on sampling and lot control for their sample gathering and reporting
- Maintain a clean and contamination free workspace including safe storage procedures for finished products
- Conducting preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Continually strive to improve company processes for improved patient safety, quality, and efficient manufacturing
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Organized and energetic, strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail, able to comply with state/local food regulations.
- Ability to accept feedback and constructive criticism from supervisor
- Maintain a clean and contamination free workspace including safe storage procedures for finished products
- Maintain accountability as it relates to cleanroom, company SOP’s, Department of Health Regulations, etc.
- An in-depth understanding of food safety and production.
- Able to work flexible hours, must be able to work with minimal or no supervision
- Excellent time management and the ability to multitask
- Honest, trustworthy and dependable
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Maintain access to secure areas
Working conditions
- Individual must be able to thrive in a fast paced production environment. Able to work with and manage a team.
Physical requirements
-Individual must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
-Must maintain proper hygiene in order to follow food safe procedures.

As our Brand Ambassador you will be responsible for securing new business, building healthy client relationships, conducting educational demonstrations to generate product interest, and managing sales orders and procurement with our distribution partner.
Responsibilities
- Master all brand and product information from seed-to-sale
- Build strong and successful relationships with clients
- Make outbound calls to sell company products
- Organize appointments and in-person travel to all Wisconsin CBD store accounts
- Handle account management and client research of key players
- Placing client orders using our distribution software
- In-store demo days at your accounts to help boost sales and build rapport
- Identify opportunities to improve sales performance
- Researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest
- Build and improve sales performance for the brand
- Monitor market conditions, forecasts, and competitor sets
- Attend industry events and trade shows to generate brand interest and engagement
- Maintain a professional company image at all times
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Nice to have, but not mandatory)
- Proven experience as a sales representative is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and rapport
- Great persuasive and negotiation skills
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proficient in technology, Microsoft Office Suite, distribution sales software
- Able to travel frequently as required of the job
- Unlimited access to an insured vehicle that meets California state requirements
Compensation:
- Salary will be commensurate with experience
