Role Summary
The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for supporting the Fulfillment department by following the standards and procedures set by the D&W Manager by pulling orders, processing shipments, counting inventory along with other duties. They are responsible for following all procedures and processes necessary to ensure orders and invoices are processed timely and accurately, while providing excellent customer service.
This role will start at 25-30 hours/week and will most likely increase due to an upcoming increase in distribution. Shifts will start at 7am.

Role Summary
The Director of Compliance is responsible for directing programs, policies, and practices to ensure that all business units are in compliance with state cannabis policy and reporting regulations. They are responsible for tracking laws and regulations that might affect the organization's policies and operations, and implementing necessary changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Research legislation and regulations to provide guidance on keeping current operations and new market launches compliant
- Provide feedback and guidance to product development team regarding potential ingredients, GRAS, EAFUS lists and any regulatory limits in operating states
- Act as primary contact for external regulators such as the Health Department, Fire Department, and third-party auditors
- Ensure FDA, NASC and FSMA requirements are being met or exceeded
- Advise Senior Management on product safety and product quality trends
- Recommend appropriate quality improvement and or corrective action
- Lead quality and compliance audits at warehousing and manufacturing locations
- Work with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure product labels are compliant with NASC, FDA and other applicable state and local regulations
- Help subordinates develop, revise and implement SOPs, as needed
- Assist Quality and Compliance Managers with developing and programs (FSMA requirements, label requirements, food safety program, etc.)
- Research vendors for business support (test labs, food labs, approved vendors, pest control, etc.)
- Ensure product quality and consistency across national markets by implementing standardized product sensory and instrumental analyses for each affiliate partner and FDA-compliant manufacturing partners
- Oversee the implementation of comprehensive employee training programs for compliance, quality, and safety
- Analyze processes, identify trends, and continuously evaluate warehousing programs to identify areas for improvement
- Direct the pest management program
- Coordinate special projects within the scope of the compliance and quality

Role Summary
The Analytical Manager is responsible for managing and execution of analytical instrument installation and maintenance, quality control, personnel training, and continuous quality improvement on in-house analytical methods, including sample extraction and analysis via HPLC, GC, and other complex scientific instrumentation to support commercial production and new product innovation of cannabis consumer packaged goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the entire analytical process, from sample preparation through data analysis using state-of-the-art analytical equipment such as HPLC.
- Manage the calibration and operation of analytical instrumentation, including but not limited to HPLC and GC in local and out-of-state facilities.
- Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, and instrumentation and implements solutions to meet these needs.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and manage consumable parts inventory for multiple locations.
- Travel to out-of-state facilities for analyst training, instrument installation, troubleshooting and maintenance, and collaboration with 3rd party regulatory labs.
- Develop quality control charts, maintain sample logs, and implement other tools and strategies that allow raw data to be transformed into business insights.
- Generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for internal product testing
- Design and create optimal processes and procedures for team members to follow to generate and record electronic COAs.
- Analyze, evaluate, and approve the results of QC samples and raw material (e.g. cannabis concentrates and distillates) prior to use in production.
- Contribute to the generation and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for extraction and analysis of cannabis infused consumer packaged goods.
- Collaborate with 3rd party compliance labs to perform matrix validations prior to new product launch to ensure minimal downtime during new market expansion.
- Provide analytical support to new product development and innovation with shelf life and stability evaluations.

Role Summary
To implement and manage local regulatory compliance as it relates to manufacturing, storage, and distribution facility operations in a particular region such as a state or country. Key Responsibilities
- Manage Quality Systems and Safety Programs for a local region, including training employees.
- Manage local state tracking system admin and compliance by fulfilling the inventory tracking system Administrator duties.
- Liaise with team members to reconcile tracking system errors daily.

Role Summary
A Brand Specialist is responsible for managing the company’s brands and individual products while developing plans that support lines of service, brand objectives, increased sales and increased Brand/Company awareness to the market and consumer.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance the company's brand and reputation to the market/end consumer
- Support sales team with dispensary In-Store Pop-ups, staff trainings, special events, and promotions.
- Survey stores for inventory management, POS, trainings, promotional and new product placement opportunities
- Overall market information to understand trends, new products and sales strategies
- Create and develop dispensary staff incentives, contests and in-store features
- Create and develop dispensary staff facility tours (4/mo.) and company focused events
- Coordinate objectives with marketing and sales departments
- Ensure merchandising and brand placement to company standards
- Engage consumers at point of purchase to increase brand awareness and conversion
- Drive profitable sales, brand growth and loyalty for several business areas
- Develop and execute brand management plans
- Identify brand-building areas to include increased product/brand placements (monthly goal assigned monthly/quarterly)
- Coordinate and manage content and information sharing among departments, divisions and external customers and social media
- Evaluate customer objectives and provide solutions to generate additional sales
- Contribute to company success by increasing sales and profits through new business development and/or growing organically existing key customers, developing relationships with key decision makers
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Role Summary
The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading and building the Mary’s and Dixie brands. As first and foremost the business and P&L leader, the brand director will set the objectives, strategies and tactics for the Mary’s and Dixie businesses, driving annual revenue by bringing the brand visions to life via regional and trade marketing, establishing BellRock Brands as the retail partner of choice while being a storyteller, a creative problem solver and a champion of the shopper. Naturally curious and a collaborative leader, a true partner to both sales and marketing, the Director of Marketing understands the power of consumer driven brands and how critical the retail channel is to the commercial health of those brands. They run their business by the numbers, using data to drive decisions that balance short-term needs with long-term aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
- Annual Business Planning and Execution
- Build and gain alignment to annual business plan including objectives, strategies and tactics
- Build and gain alignment to annual brand revenue forecast and budget recommendations
- Build and gain alignment to national promotional plans by brand with clear revenue targets and KPIs
- Define the Tasks to be Done
- Utilize commercial and consumer data to develop a comprehensive understanding of market, category, and segment dynamics
- Understand portfolio strategy and brand profitability as the basis for rational resource allocation decisions
- Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in each state, becoming the go-to source for competitor insight
- Develop a deep understanding of the retail landscape in each state to identify priority / lighthouse accounts and commercial opportunities
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s product portfolio, features and benefits, how they differ from direct competitors, and why retail partners should care
- Lead brand innovation
- Define innovation platforms and pipelines by brand, considering revenue potential
- Create annual calendar and cadence of innovation
- Work with R&D, commercialization and sales to launch new innovation into the marketplace
- Drive and support geographic expansion of successful “single market” products
- Craft the Stories
- Utilize comprehensive market and product knowledge to craft differentiated and compelling selling stories across the company’s portfolio
- Develop and deploy a seasonal activation calendar and related programs to capitalize on key holidays and selling windows
- Own the company’s Partnership program, ensuring selection criteria, partnership tools, and tactics are optimized for an evolving retail market
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to build and deploy a robust trade email calendar and content plan (national / state / local)
- Build the Toolkits
- Translate selling stories into highly effective sales presenters (traditional and digital) with a focus on continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain POP marketing catalogs and toolkits including POSM, display material, merchandise, digital assets and partnership tools
- Work with relevant internal and external partners to develop retail promotional programs and related tools
- Lead the development and maintenance of the company’s digital shelf with key retail and delivery service partners
- Manage and optimize relationships with relevant external vendors and agency partners including promotional staffing, retail display, digital asset and POD, etc.
- Communicate and Collaborate
- Be the point of contact (and filter) for all sales support requirements and requests
- Support sales team training and induction programs

POSITION SUMMARY
Using a range of software, wet chemistry techniques, and analytical instruments (primarily HPLC) the Analytics and Testing Specialist will conduct extractions and analyses of raw materials and finished products. The Specialist will be responsible for preparing samples, extracting analytes, analyzing, interpreting, and recording data in a timely fashion. Under the direction of the Senior Scientist, the Specialist will also be responsible for contributing to the writing and editing of Standard Operating Procedures, as well as generating Certificates of Analysis for various finished products.
CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use a range of chromatography software (Chem station, Chromeleon, Empower, etc.) techniques and equipment, specifically High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), to carry out product quality control testing, and contribute to ongoing research and analysis projects.
- Analyze and interpret chromatography data.
- Accurately record data in accordance with estabished guidelines
- Report and present results and generate Certificates of Analyses.
- Follow, write and edit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for matrix specific extractions and analyses
- Work in a high paced and rapidly evolving industry.
- Be able to lift, push or pull 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be willing and able to step in and help out production/packaging/fulfillment when necessary.
- Have an attention for detail in data recording, following SOPs, and general quality control processes.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Chemistry or related field
- 1-2 plus years of experience within a Scientific Lab
