Job Description
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Territory Manager for a cannabis technology and lifestyle brand. This individual will need to become an expert on the companies mission, vision, ethos, and portfolio of products. This individual will become the face of the brand and organization in his/her territory. The candidate will be involved in increasing brand awareness, increasing sales, adding to the existing door count, adding additional brand partners, and marketing/promoting the brand via various events, demos, trainings, and pop-ups throughout his/her territory. This role will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to achieve company goals, objectives, and KPI’s.
Territory Manager Responsibilities
Promotional Events
- Scheduling in-store events and trainings throughout territory
- Building rapport with store managers, buyers, to coordinate and schedule demos, trainings, and pop-ups
- Monitoring customer feedback and escalating complaints to the sales/marketing department
- Tracking customer preferences, metrics, and media campaigns
- Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times
- Thorough understanding of our products and services to inform potential customers on our product line
- Giving away promotional materials at live events
Sales / Account Management
- Be knowledgeable about portfolio product offerings
- Identify prospective customers, lead generation, and conversion
- Direct communication with current and new customers to discuss needs, support, and ways to increase revenue
- Educate on the features and benefits of products and how they check consumer needs
- Ability to answer questions about products
- Collaborate with colleagues, brand partners, and distributors
- Maintain and manage contact lists and follow up to build and maintain rapport with accounts
- Become the trusted advisor with the accounts in your territory
Brand Ambassador Requirements
- Prior experience in a customer service or sales environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools
- Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to travel. Must have a car
- Experience or knowledge of the Cannabis industry a major plus
- Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
