The Sampler position is responsible for obtaining a representative sample of a batch at the client’s location, completing all relevant documentation and providing excellent customer service, while ensuring all samples are safely and securely transferred to a Courier for delivery to our Lab for processing.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact with clients/customers on their premises during sample collection and submission (Clients / Customers may require our employees to be fully vaccinated)
- Follow all internal laboratory and State regulations while taking samples and driving to and from a client/customer sampling site or the laboratory
- Coordinate with Manager of Field Operations, as well as, Customer Service Account Managers to maximize sample collection
- Strive to maximize driving route efficiency
- Maintain records of samples and transportation data per relevant procedures
- Maintain sampling supply/equipment inventory
- Complete vehicle operational logs and minor maintenance as needed
- Follow good documentation practices, data integrity principles, and safety behaviors

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Samplers/Field Technicians work largely in the field, driving to customer sites, and working directly with clients to collect samples per established procedures.
Samplers/Field Technicians will report to the lab at the beginning and end of each shift to receive instructions and drop off samples.
Samplers/Field Technicians establish the chain of custody of products sampled between the customer and the laboratory. Log sample information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and ensure the sampling takes place using appropriate methods, proper and clean tools, and personal protective wear.
Samplers/Field Technicians are also responsible for developing positive customer relationships and collecting payments from customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate cash registers, manage financial transactions, and balance drawers
- Process purchases, returns, and exchanges according to company procedures
- Demonstrate superior product knowledge and develop solutions for customers by listening to their needs and recommending appropriate products
- Greet customers, respond warmly to questions, improve engagement with merchandise, and provide outstanding customer service
- Upsell when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, etc.
- Organize and replenish front stock and help merchandise store
- Help organize backstock and perform routine inventory counts

Experience Requirements:
- 2+ years of Retail Sales or Customer Service experience

The appointment will be as Adjunct Faculty to teach a section of one of the following courses in either the Day Division or the Evening Division. The Director is responsible for direct oversight for the day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards within a lab. Laboratory Director General Responsibilities:
- Manage laboratory expenses related to all operations activities including equipment, labor and supplies.
- Management responsibilities including, but not limited to: involvement in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity, and daily operations of multiple levels of staff and multiple functions/departments across matrix organization.
- Manage inside operations, including production, process evaluation and monitoring.
- Work closely with the Quality team to assure method and SOP compliance.
- Constantly work to integrate a culture of excellence in customer service.
- Monitor and manage facilities and equipment and keep both in sufficient working order.
- Ensure a culture of safety in laboratory.
- Evaluate both OOS & CAPA reports with the Laboratory Director and Quality department.
- Provided Opinions and Interpretations when necessary regarding the quality and meaning of analytical data contained within analytical reports provided to customers
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university; Minimum 8-10 years of relevant industry and laboratory operations experience including management experience.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of principles, terminology, practices, techniques and instrumentation commonly used in a laboratory setting.
- Collaborative work approach aligned with corporate values.
- Prior Cannabis experience preferred.
- Must have a positive and supportive attitude.

We are seeking a proficient and detail orientated Data Validator to join our growing quality department for the final review and approval of Certificates of Analysis for accuracy and completeness and providing general support to laboratory operations.
Responsibilities:
- Verify all information on COC matches on COA, such as Distributor and Producer information, sample name, batch number and size, etc.
- Review all analytical results for completeness and accuracy. This includes review of calibrations, test records, and LQCs to ensure proper protocol was followed.
- Communicating with Customer Service and Intake regarding release or delay of release of orders.
- Communicating with Chemists and Analysts to ensure quality of test results.
- Issuance of results to both the client and to the Bureau of Cannabis Control
- Review and analysis of analytical results for HPLC, LCMS/GCMS, ICPMS, and qPCR as needed.
- Preparation of samples as needed.
- Keep current with regulatory changes and guidelines
- Maintain familiarity with laboratory policies and procedures
- Support general department activities
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as quality associate, lab analyst, or QC technician in a regulated industry (ISO 17025, BCC, FDA, EPA, USP, etc.)

Lab Analyst Job Responsibilities:
