SANITATION TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION
Sanitation Technicians work together with their TEAM to aid with all aspects of sanitation, under the direct supervision of the Production Manager. This TEAM supports overall cleanliness throughout the facility, based on various work instructions, processes, and techniques performed as a part of daily routine operations.
As a Sanitation TEAM Member, you will:
- Support the facility through the cleaning of all work areas involved, e.g., sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces and common spaces. TEAM Members MUST prioritize Cleanliness and Organization.
- Maintain clean floors throughout the facility using a floor scrubbing machine.
- Wipe mirrors, sinks, walls, and toilets in the bathrooms.
- Keep the facility looking organized, clean, presentable, and professional always.
- Contribute to the company’s overall success through keeping a professional approach to all interactions and executions of the Sanitation Activities.
- Organize inventory in warehouse and perform cycle counts.
- Flex into other activities to support the vape and gummy lines, including packaging.

Summary
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager/Supervisor, the
Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the production equipment, dishes, and other equipment within the facilities of Wyld. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be able to work 3pm-12am shift
- Performs sanitation duties as required by the Master Sanitation Schedule, including:
- Cleaning all dishes, floors, walls, sinks and tables
- Maintaining restrooms including emptying all trash containers, refilling toilet paper, hand towels and soap dispensers in the production area and all other areas of the facility
- Inspecting and maintaining pest control stations
- Establishes and maintains adequate records to track inventory and sanitation supplies
- Keeps current on new equipment and sanitation techniques to enhance the overall quality and cleanliness of the facilities
- Effectively communicate and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
- Informs manager of all repair, preventive maintenance, and upkeep issues on all equipment through continuous daily inspections; reports any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food or product safety, quality, or personnel safety
- Conducts routine service and maintenance on sanitation equipment (e.g. assemble and disassemble sweepers, scrubbers, etc.)
- Operates sweepers, scrubbers, pressure washers and other custodial equipment
- Mixes and uses chemicals related to cleaning and sanitizing equipment
- Assists in production jobs as needed

Garden Remedies, Inc. is looking for a Sanitation and Pot Wash Tech for our cultivation facility located in Fitchburg, MA. The Sanitation and Pot Wash Tech is responsible for the care and cleaning of miscellaneous grow pots and buckets and will assist in the day-to-day cleaning operations of all area’s cultivation and grounds. GRI's goal is to grow consistent, high-quality medical marijuana while remaining fully consistent with Garden Remedies’ Standard Operating Procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the pot washing machine each morning
- Collect, organize and rinse miscellaneous grow pots and buckets
- Load pots into machine for washing and unload when complete
- Periodic troubleshooting of equipment may be required
- Performs other duties as assigned to assist Garden Remedies' daily operations

Position Overview
The Sanitization Technician supports the Facilities and Cultivations departments in the ongoing maintenance and cleanliness of the building and cultivation areas to ensure a clean environment to cultivate cannabis. Duties include regular cleaning and organization of areas inside the Cultivation/product manufacturing.
· Ensure building cleanliness; including the daily dusting, sweeping mopping, and any additional cleaning of the interior Cultivation/product manufacturing areas.
· Regular cleaning of hard surfaces in Cultivation/product manufacturing including, but not limited to, scrubbing stairs, restrooms and floors.
· Regular cleaning of specific equipment in Cultivation/product manufacturing.
· Assist in regularly stocking restrooms, cleaning, and building supplies.
· Maintain and organize storage spaces.
· Ensure proper and compliant disposal of all waste per company policies and procedures.
· Ensure employee compliance with all policies and procedures.
· Cleaning and sanitization of Cultivation benches, bench drains, floors, and doors.
· Vacuuming and logging green waste from Cultivation rooms/benches.
· Cleaning and organization of Fertigation, IPM, and other Cultivation related rooms.
· Assisting Cultivation staff in Post-Harvest room cleans.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Director.

Sanitation Technician
To be successful as a sanitation technician, you should demonstrate strong team skills, detailed knowledge of the cannabis industry, and a good eye for detail. A top-notch sanitation technician ensures the manufacturing facility is always up to code and running efficiently. You will train and assist in routine and preventative maintenance, sanitation, and cleaning of all equipment within the facility, as well as general cleaning and upkeep of the facility itself.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting the manufacturing process to determine sanitation protocols.
- Following all sanitation policies and protocols.
- Ensure compliant and safe products are being used within the production area
- Maintain proper PPE inventory for all cleaning procedures in place
- Performing daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and reporting any irregularities.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities.
- Providing feedback to company managers and advising on manufacturing changes.
- Monitoring the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals.
- Support in the scheduled cleaning of all production areas including growing environments, processing, and storage
- Coordinating the services of contractors and external cleaning crews.
- Responsible for the overall upkeep and cleanliness of all common areas, office space, restrooms, and production areas of the facility

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- General cleaning of all areas of the building.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Ordering/managing inventories of consumables.
- Working on Master Sanitation schedule and documenting for activity and supplies.
- Maintenance of facility cleaning related equipment
- Cleaning and stock restroom consumable supplies throughout workday.
- Clean up spills with appropriate equipment, clean the kitchen areas.
- Perform minor repairs as needed.
- Notify site team leadership supervisors and managers of any facility issues.
- Collect and dispose of trash daily.
- Ensure all trash cans are clean before end of every business day.
- Ensure gowning supplies are always full for operational employees.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Maintain stock inventory totals for cleaning related consumable products.
- Serve as liaison for contract cleaning services as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to manage time efficiently.
- Work well when supervisors are not present.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning, and other janitorial work.
- Basic math skills.

Job description – Quality and Sanitation Technician
Reports to Quality Manager
Evergreen Herbal is seeking an experienced Sanitation and Quality Technician. Responsibilities include food safety and food quality in the facility including auditing and maintenance of our Sanitary Policies and procedures Food Safety & Good Manufacturing protocols. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring on going testing of Food prep/packaging areas, auditing Ph/Brix of in process products, oversight of clean inventory sanitation equipment (lab coats, hair/beard nets, gloves and other cleaning supplies). We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn.
You will enjoy a Monday – Friday day schedule, which may vary occasionally depending on production schedules.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Follow the Master Sanitation and Daily Cleaning schedules on the production floor
- Swab production equipment for environmental monitoring program in the absence of QA Manager
- Test product pH and brix and document the results
- Keep the scrub area clean, maintained, and stocked at all times with glove boxes, hair, and beard nets. Collect dirty lab coats from the hooks and office areas and put them in the dirty bin
- Work with Purchasing to keep sufficient inventory of cleaning supplies both for the office and production areas
- Replenish gloves, soaps, sanitizers in the production area.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and common areas (door handles, bathrooms, kitchen area, etc)
- Makes recommendations to upper management concerning frequency of cleaning equipment
- Organize and clean dish area & help production crew with utensil washing as needed
- Maintain the chemical room to keep it clean and organized as well as preparation of cleaning and sanitation solutions for production crew as needed
- Must be able to perform all responsibilities of Sanitor but may also perform and supervise other duties such as light maintenance as needed. For example, painting of equipment or minor repairs to floor, ceilings, walls, etc
REQUIREMENTS:
- Food manufacturing experience and food handlers permit
- Able to follow a schedule and established procedures
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old
- Adhere to proper uniform usage and Personal Protective Equipment requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs when needed and be ambulatory all day

CULTIVATION SANITATION TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION
Cultivation Sanitation Technicians work together with their TEAM to assist with all aspects of sanitation, under the direct oversight of the Administrative Manager. This TEAM maintains overall cleanliness throughout the cultivation facility, based on various work instructions, processes, and techniques performed as a part of daily routine operations.
As a Cultivation Sanitation TEAM Member, you will:
- Support the facility through the cleaning of all work areas involved, e.g., sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces and common spaces. TEAM Members MUST prioritize Cleanliness and Organization.
- Wash, dry, hang, and organize laundry for the cultivation, including uniforms and microfiber cloths, towels, and mop heads. Uniforms will be cleaned as a daily activity and restocked into other TEAM Members lockers.
- Maintain clean epoxy floors throughout the cultivation using a floor scrubbing machine.
- Wipe mirrors, sinks, walls, and toilets in the bathrooms.

The Sanitation and Pot Wash Tech is responsible for the care and cleaning of miscellaneous grow pots and buckets and will assist in the day-to-day cleaning operations of all area’s cultivation and grounds. - Prepare the pot washing machine each morning

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sanitation Technician is a member of our cleaning crew whose duties are to clean and sanitize processing
equipment and processing areas of the plant, to meet Quality Control and Bacterial Standards delineated within

TITLE: Sanitation Technicians 1
TERMS: Full Time –Non-Exempt Day / Night Shift
RATE OF PAY: $15.00 plus shift differential as applicable
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities of Sanitation Technicians are to wash the equipment for the facility. Sterilize reusable materials. Rotate the materials. Find appropriate storage for materials. Support rolls for departmental needs. In the cleaning of the processing rooms. Refill chemicals with proper rates for the departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
- Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.
- Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
- Unlocks doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas.
- Receive and clean harvest crates, shucking totes, hanging racks, and any other supplies needed for the cultivation and processing operations
- Clean and disinfect the processing rooms
- Reports needs and concerns to appropriate lead and/or supervisor which may include submitting or recommending work orders and checking supply levels, for positions within each department.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Assists in on-the-job training of new staff on routine procedures.
- Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.
- May perform functions which require the use of power washers to clean department tools, totes and other materials.
- May be required to handle department specific equipment such as Trim and Shucking equipment.
- May be required to handle cleaning supplies to refill chemical containers, as needed.
- May provide vendors with access to areas for cleaning and may answer basic questions. May report issues with vendors to supervisor.
- May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Dismantles, cleans, and reassembles production and cultivation equipment.
- Uses chemicals in proper concentration according to company guidelines.
- Properly labels and maintains all chemicals.
- Ensures PPE stations are adequately stocked.
- Periodically cleans walls, offices, restrooms, storage areas and furniture.
- Routine heavy cleaning
- Moving heavy equipment & furniture
- Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas and parking lot
- Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
- Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
- Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped
- Other duties as needed/required to meet goals
Required skills/experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Capacity to take direction.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment is preferred but is not required.
- Demonstrates ability to organize and work effectively with minimal supervision
- You will regard safety as a core value; serve as role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies and procedures.

Job Description
Garden Remedies, Inc. is looking for a Pot Wash & Sanitation Tech for our cultivation facility located in Fitchburg, MA. The Pot Wash & Sanitation Tech is responsible for the care and cleaning of miscellaneous grow pots and buckets and will assist in the day-to-day cleaning operations of all area’s cultivation and grounds. GRI's goal is to grow consistent, high-quality medical marijuana while remaining fully consistent with Garden Remedies’ Standard Operating Procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the pot washing machine each morning
- Collect, organize and rinse miscellaneous grow pots and buckets
- Load pots into machine for washing and unload when complete
- Periodic troubleshooting of equipment may be required
- Performs other duties as assigned to assist Garden Remedies' daily operations
- Assists the GRI leadership team daily to ensure that whatever needs to be done is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Assists with other departments as needed
- Ensure appropriate procedures are followed

POSITION SUMMARY
The sanitization tech is responsible for all general sanitization and janitorial duties in the facility. The sanitization technician will be required to ensure that our facility is always clean, sanitized, orderly, and safe. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work knowing that their efforts allow our facility to be profitable, safe, with great aesthetics. Our facility is often toured by executives and high profile clients, and we are proud of our facility and we want this candidate to reflect that in their professionalism and care of the facility. This candidate will be a leader in that pride. They will accomplish this by ensuring our facility is always clean, well supplied, and will help us keep production on schedule. This candidate will complete all required documentation, maintain inventory of sanitation supplies, and participate in monthly QA audits of the facility from a janitorial perspective.
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Executes washing, cleaning and sanitizing tasks/duties and assignments in a timely and accurate manner
- Wash out, clean, sanitize and dry production equipment, lines, fillers and pumps, hoses, pipes, change parts, machine parts, cooking, baking, mixing utensils, tools, equipment and all department rooms like cultivation, extraction, manufacturing
- Maintain clean storage area. Clean and Sanitize portable, storage and process equipment in accordance with regulatory / compliance guidelines.
- Expert understanding of safe utilization of cleaning products and chemicals
- Clearly log all cleaning and sanitization activities
- Make sure that all GMP and SOP paper work is filled out neatly and correctly at all times during the wash out, sanitizing, and dry process.
- Maintain all necessary records and documentation accurately in accordance with current company, regulatory and compliance guidelines with special attention to OSHA safety requirements
- Monitor, track and ensure the inventory maintenance of all Wash Room equipment, PPE and supplies. Replacing and restocking all cleaning supplies, sanitary supplies and working closely with vendors
- Inspects the complete work area and ensures that area is free from anything that can cause contamination or obstruction to the production equipment.
- With an eye for detail, takes initiative to identify and clean any spills, leaks, spot cleaning those areas and items that are not part of the schedule. Display safety signs to caution employees on wet floors, oily surfaces and other occupational hazards.
- Must understand and consistently adhere to GMP, SOP, OSHA and safety procedures at all times
- Participate, as required, in all required training sessions including all plant and company related.
- Clean & sanitize plant common spaces including floors, walls, ceilings, hallways between and connecting rooms.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times as this position may be exposed to splash hazards, high temperatures and chemicals.
- Complete required and scheduled cleanings associated with Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE + QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
- 3+ years of sanitation experience in a facility setting
- 1+ years of working in a cannabis facility as a sanitation tech

WORKING CONDITIONS
The employee will be expected to work inside in a controlled warehouse/Cultivation and growing atmosphere and must have suitable clothing. This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. through 3:45 PM (hours are subject to change). Although rare, employees may be asked to work weekends as needed due to production schedule requirements

Summary
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager/Supervisor, the
Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the production equipment, dishes, and other equipment within the facilities of Wyld. The Sanitation Technician will make sure all areas are sanitized and in presentable condition. This position will keep plant areas in a safe, clean, and orderly condition as directed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs sanitation duties as required by the Master Sanitation Schedule, including:
- Cleaning all dishes, floors, walls, sinks and tables
- Maintaining restrooms including emptying all trash containers, refilling toilet paper, hand towels and soap dispensers in the production area and all other areas of the facility
- Inspecting and maintaining pest control stations
- Establishes and maintains adequate records to track inventory and sanitation supplies
- Keeps current on new equipment and sanitation techniques to enhance the overall quality and cleanliness of the facilities
- Effectively communicate and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
- Informs manager of all repair, preventive maintenance, and upkeep issues on all equipment through continuous daily inspections; reports any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food or product safety, quality, or personnel safety
- Conducts routine service and maintenance on sanitation equipment (e.g. assemble and disassemble sweepers, scrubbers, etc.)
- Operates sweepers, scrubbers, pressure washers and other custodial equipment
- Mixes and uses chemicals related to cleaning and sanitizing equipment
- Assists in production jobs as neededUnderstands and adheres to WYLD processes, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) and safety practices

We are in search of a motivated, self-driven Sanitation Technician for the swing shift at our facility in Long Beach. This is a core part of our efficient operations, and the right candidate will be a great addition to our growing team!
This is solely a swing shift position, with present work hours set at 1 pm to 9:30pm, including lunch and breaks.
The core functionality of this role is to perform turn/clean cultivation rooms, dry rooms, trimming, packaging and other processing areas to prepare those rooms for operation the following day including janitorial cleanings in bathrooms and locker rooms. All areas of the room (floor, walls, tables, equipment) must be cleaned and sanitized using provided equipment.
This position is part of the foundation of our operations, and requires the team member to be totally reliable. Reliable transportation, self-motivation and the ability to be at work for all scheduled shifts is mandatory for this role. A strong background in working with cleaning equipment in a manufacturing/agricultural environments is highly recommended, as this role is focused on that area.
Job Duties:
- Clean and sanitize processing equipment, floor, drains, buildings, bins, walls, ceilings and tools
- Clean and sanitize processing equipment that may require disassembly and such as, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, fans and A/C units
- Use various cleaning equipment such as, chemical sprayers, foggers hoses, floor scrubbers, etc.
- Prevent cross contamination of product, processing ingredients and direct contact surfaces during cleanings
- Follow all company cleaning SOPs
- Follow chemical-specific safety and PPE requirements
- Titrate cleaning chemicals to proper concentrations
- Complete cleaning logs and required documentation
- Adhere to good agricultural practices of the company
- The position requires extensive physical work

ROLE SUMMARY
Sanitation Technician is responsible for general facility maintenance and ensuring a sanitized facility to meet plant and employee safety requirements. Sanitation consist of washing, cleaning, sanitizing, drying, sweeping and mopping.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for sanitation of equipment and maintenance of plant trays and irrigation system.

· Washing tables, trays, and wiping lights and returning them to the appropriate area.
· Clean and sanitize plant common spaces and tools.
· Clean spills, leaks and other occupational hazards.

ROLE SUMMARY
Sanitation Technician is responsible for general facility maintenance and ensuring a sanitized facility to meet plant and employee safety requirements. Sanitation consist of washing, cleaning, sanitizing, drying, sweeping and mopping.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Executes washing, cleaning and sanitizing tasks/duties and assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
· Responsible for sanitation of equipment and maintenance of plant trays and irrigation system.
· Assure all cannabis products are free from contamination risks.
· Washing tables, trays, and wiping lights and returning them to the appropriate area.
· Clean and sanitize plant common spaces and tools.
· Clean spills, leaks and other occupational hazards.
· Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
· Sustains clean and tidy workspaces and displays a high standard of cleanliness
· Employ professional and clear communication practices to maintain a positive and progressive team atmosphere.
· Ensure that waste products are managed and destroyed as per the current approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
· Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all cultivation activities during medical cannabis processing, at all times, to result consistent quality cannabis products.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
· 2+ years sanitation experience
· Demonstrated experience in cultivation or other delicate commercial crops.
· Ability to follow directions and established procedures
· Maintains stable performance under pressure
· Communicate clearly, proactively, and concisely with all management
SKILLS / INTERESTS
· Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
· Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work. Work effectively with minimal supervision
· Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
· Ability to build good relationships.
· Teamwork- collaborating with others to improve overall standards of work and service
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities are assigned to this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in cultivation and manufacturing environments. This role routinely uses cultivation processing equipment and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods; walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. {Must be able to individually lift up to 25 lbs}. Comfortable with heights (25 feet high), Regular and predictable attendance is essential.

This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
Hours: 6:30am – 3:30pm M-F
TRAVEL
Travel, if required, is primarily local during the business day.

We are currently seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our Edibles team. The Coda Signature Sanitation Technician is a team member responsible for supporting our manufacturing team in maintaining our standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the manufacturing and sanitation rooms, as well as equipment and machinery. This role is critical to ensuring the production efficiency, consistency, accuracy, safety, and overall quality control of Coda Signature’s award-winning products. Additionally, we place a high value on our shared success, therefore collaborating with all Coda Signature team members is essential.
Responsibilities
· Cleaning and sanitizing of manufacturing area, machinery, and equipment.
· Dismantles and reassembles production equipment for cleaning.
· Uses chemicals according to company guidelines and safe practices.
· Work with team to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Competencies, Skills, and Knowledge
Sanitation experience is preferred for this position. In addition, the following attributes will help to ensure the success of the prospective employee:
