POSITION SUMMARY
A new multi-state Cannabis company is seeking to hire a highly motivated Extraction Technician to join our team at our Desert Hot Springs location. The Extraction Technician I is responsible for extracting, refining and fractionating Phyto-cannabinoids and terpenes from cannabis plant material into a concentrated form using carbon dioxide, butane, propane, and ice water as solvents and various separation techniques with supervision.
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Operates solvent extraction and separations equipment and non-solvents refinement equipment that extracts and refines oil from a variety of cannabis plant material.
- Observes, monitors & records temperature, pressure and all other important parameters on processes and equipment, reporting errors or issues to leadership or more senior members of the team.
- Cleaning and maintenance of extraction equipment and secondary supplies.
- Refining extracted material via molecular distillation and Buchi Pure chromatography device.
- Helping to conduct design of and carry out experiment trials to determine optimal parameter settings of equipment.
- Moderate physical demand; may include carrying empty and loaded biomass containers, as well as ice and water containers.
- Preventative maintenance of extraction equipment. Raising malfunctions or issues to leadership or more senior members on the team.
- Record all measurable data on AirTable or other databases.
- Usage of METRC and/or other regulatory mandated databases.
- Other duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE + QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma/GED or completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production experience.
- 1+ years of experience working in a lab and/or specialty chemicals environment with various separation techniques and similar equipment.
- Ability to perform general mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Attention to detail in all aspects of job responsibilities, including but not limited to good documentation practices, strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedure and Manufacturing Batch
Record instructions, equipment and area hygiene and safety, cGMP gowning requirements adherence, release versus quarantine status of all manufacturing materials, general labeling requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Post Harvest Tech I performs manual labor to assist in the processing of high grade cannabis, including, but not limited to; hanging, bucking, destemming, trimming and packaging of harvested plants under the supervision of the Post Harvest Manger. Attention to detail is extremely important. The ideal candidate has excellent attendance, is capable of sitting/standing in one place while trimming cannabis for long periods of time and is willing to be flexible by taking on other tasks as needed.

- Prepare cannabis for final packaging
- Package cannabis into jars or pre rolls packaging
- Properly account for and dispose of waste material

POSITION SUMMARY
The Post-Harvest Supervisor position is responsible for the execution of the FoundryWorks post harvest
plan at a facility level and will lead a team that specializes in all post harvest tasks from Harvest intake
through package transfer to production license. The role will oversee post harvest schedule, accurate
data entry into Metrc and internal database, SOP/WI execution, teammate training, coaching and
improvement. Post-Harvest manager will work with Cultivation, Production and Operations Leadership
to ensure the post harvest team is aligned with FoundryWorks production goals. Post Harvest supervisor
will report KPIs to appropriate leadership to keep the operation dynamic.
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Execute post-harvest plan as directed with data from Sales/Marketing.
- Ensure SOPs/WIs are being followed
- Ensure a safe working environment for all team mates
- Ensure data being collected on internal/regulated databases is accurate and compliant
- Maintain training and development plans for all appropriate teammates. Work with the
Department leads to retrain teammates when needed.
- Ensure teammates are accountable for accurate time clock entries

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Executes washing, cleaning and sanitizing tasks/duties and assignments in a timely and accurate manner
- Wash out, clean, sanitize and dry production equipment, lines, fillers and pumps, hoses, pipes, change parts, machine parts, cooking, baking, mixing utensils, tools, equipment and all department rooms like cultivation, extraction, manufacturing
- Maintain clean storage area. Clean and Sanitize portable, storage and process equipment in accordance with regulatory / compliance guidelines.
- Expert understanding of safe utilization of cleaning products and chemicals
- Clearly log all cleaning and sanitization activities
- Make sure that all GMP and SOP paper work is filled out neatly and correctly at all times during the wash out, sanitizing, and dry process.
- Maintain all necessary records and documentation accurately in accordance with current company, regulatory and compliance guidelines with special attention to OSHA safety requirements
- Monitor, track and ensure the inventory maintenance of all Wash Room equipment, PPE and supplies. Replacing and restocking all cleaning supplies, sanitary supplies and working closely with vendors
- Inspects the complete work area and ensures that area is free from anything that can cause contamination or obstruction to the production equipment.
- With an eye for detail, takes initiative to identify and clean any spills, leaks, spot cleaning those areas and items that are not part of the schedule. Display safety signs to caution employees on wet floors, oily surfaces and other occupational hazards.
- Must understand and consistently adhere to GMP, SOP, OSHA and safety procedures at all times
- Participate, as required, in all required training sessions including all plant and company related.
- Clean & sanitize plant common spaces including floors, walls, ceilings, hallways between and connecting rooms.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times as this position may be exposed to splash hazards, high temperatures and chemicals.
- Complete required and scheduled cleanings associated with Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
- May train others in all aspects of the job
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE + QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
- 3+ years of sanitation experience in a facility setting
- 1+ years of working in a cannabis facility as a sanitation tech

POSITION SUMMARY
The CO2/Refining Extraction Lead is responsible for extracting, refining and fractionating Phyto-cannabinoids and terpenes from cannabis plant material into a concentrated form using carbon dioxide as a solvent and various separation techniques with little to no supervision. The CO2/Refining Extraction Lead is looked to for their expertise in the CO2 Extraction and Refining areas, ensuring use of best practices and training new team members.
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Operates solvent extraction and separations equipment and non-solvents refinement equipment that extracts and refines oil from a variety of cannabis plant material.

- Provides consistent oversight of extraction procedures, ensuring standardized requirements and accuracy.
- Maintains quality control measures to ensure a high-quality product.
- Cleaning and maintenance of CO2 extraction equipment and secondary supplies ensuring best cleaning and maintenance practices and schedules are followed.
- Troubleshooting equipment as able and escalating malfunctions.
- Refining extracted material via molecular distillation and Buchi Pure chromatography device.
- Conduct Design of Experiment trails to determine optimal parameter settings of equipment.
- Moderate physical demand; may include carrying empty and loaded biomass containers, as well as ice and water containers.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician I position maintains, adjusts and repairs facility machinery to meet industry standards while ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies including but not limited to USDA,

- High School Diploma or equivalent required, with some technical training and at least 2 years general maintenance experience.
- Basic electrical, refrigeration, fabrication and mechanical skills required.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Read equipment manuals and diagrams.
- Understand and be able to practice basic troubleshooting skills.

- No cannabis allergies
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in basic construction or production/manufacturing maintenance

Supervisory Responsibility

Working Conditions
The employee will be expected to work inside in a controlled warehouse/cultivation and growing atmosphere and must have suitable clothing. In addition, employees are required to follow GMP and quality standards in terms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hair nets, beard nets, respirators, shoe covers, lab coats, etc. as required.
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. through 2:30 p.m (hours are subject to change). Although rare, employees may be asked to work weekends as needed due to production schedule requirements.
