POSITION TITLE: Production Technician

POSITION STATUS: Full Time Non- Exempt (Hourly)

POSITION RANGE OF PAY: $15.00- $18.00 per hour

Job Description:

The Production Technician is responsible for performing work on manufacturing product lines as assigned. Lines include but are not limited to the following: filling and capping, edible production, packaging, and pre roll assembly. Main duties will include but not be limited to accurately setting up product lines, operating equipment (as assigned), maintaining a clean environment, assembling packaging and/or labeling finished product.

Core Responsibilities:

Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Set up and operate manual to automatic production lines
• Record all packaging and production activity as directed to ensure all activities are accounted for such as batch processing, cleaning, etc.
• Meet packaging and production goals set
• Responsible for maintaining all equipment used in good working condition
• Report any equipment, product, health, and safety issues to leadership
• Ensure product is packaged and labeled accurately and in compliance with regulations
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
• Ensure that assigned areas and equipment are clean and always sanitized
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures and the highest standard of compliance
• Other duties as assigned

POSITION STATUS: Full Time Non- Exempt (Hourly)

POSITION RANGE OF PAY: $15.00 per hour

Job Description:

Copperstate Farms & Sol Flower is looking to hiring multiple Security Officers to fill open roles across the greater Phoenix area. The Security Officer role is responsible for performing security duties under the guidance of the Director of Security, Security Manager, Security Supervisor, Team Lead and FTO with the goals of ensuring the protection of property against theft or vandalism, safeguarding of employees and other persons located on Copperstate property and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all fellow officers.

Core Responsibilities:

Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results through adaptability, integrity, initiative, accountability, and communication.
• Perform notifications in accordance with applicable General Orders/SOPs.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security of locks and chains; permitting entry via gate post duties.
• Report and communicate to management and emergency responders in an effective manner when needed/required.
• Know all emergency procedures that are in place for evacuation plans, fire emergencies, or threats to the facility or personnel.
• Know the location of the first aid kits, panic buttons, fire extinguishers, AED, and know how to use each.
• Communicate with fellow security guards when performing Post duties (every 30 minutes) and when changing Posts.
• All security personnel are required to be courteous, pleasant, and professional to all staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Ensure no entry for uninvited guests while assuming Gate post duties.
• Know the departments forms for everyday use and completes reports/ Post Logs entries by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Attend all required meetings, training sessions and daily shift change briefings.
• Effectively use the proper chain of command for issues that may arise.
• Work well and effectively with fellow co-workers with emphasis on adaptability.
• Maintain confidentiality of information that is meant to be confidential while maintaining the highest level of integrity.

POSITION TITLE: Processing Technician 1

POSITION STATUS: Full Time Non-Exempt (Hourly)

POSITION RANGE OF PAY: $15.00 per hour

Job Description:

The Processing Technician is responsible to carry out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the cannabis production cycle with the Processing Departments. Assist with all aspects of the flower trimming operations including general trimming labor, weighing, bucking, labeling, and processing. Responsible to execute production plans in keeping with the Company’s operating procedures.

Core Responsibilities:

Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Hand or machine trim flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring a quality product
• Buck or Shuck harvested flower using designated methods/machinery
• Put flower on / remove drying trays or drying racks

• Harvest plants in the greenhouse; cut trellis, cut plants, transport plants
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Trim flower without damage and with a steady flow to keep production on schedule
• Relay any issues found on the product (bugs mold etc..) to the team lead or supervisor to evaluate
• Ensure processing rooms are clean and ready for the next process or day of production cleaning convoys and floors and walls before break or end of shift

• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed
• Ensure daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules
• Dexterous hand movements with trimming tools
• Co-operate with others to reach department goals and objectives
• Other duties as assigned

Our Operations:

Our Snowflake greenhouse has 1.7 million square feet or 40 acres under glass. Within this facility, we have dry rooms, hand and machine trimming rooms, ethanol bulk distillate extraction lab, CO2 terpene extraction, hydrocarbon lab, commercial kitchen, and packaging.

We are building out a 35k square foot finished goods manufacturing and packaging facility in Tempe, Arizona. This facility will house lines including but not limited to packaging, filling, research and development, pre-roll assembly, and commercial kitchen capabilities. The design of the building will include features and processes to be GMP compliant.

Role Description:

As a key function of the role, our Retail Systems Administrator will help maintain our digital systems to support in-store and online retail sales. The Retail Systems Administrator will execute and help implement all the digital infrastructure needed to run and expand our retail operations. This team member will support the development and implementation of high-quality data management and governance to meet current and future growth requirements of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists in hardware and software installations and upgrades.
• Maintains information systems by planning, monitoring, and coordinating employees.
• Participates in implementing technologies to meet the growing needs of the business.
• Supports new system integration efforts.
• Supports Ecommerce presence and other customer facing digital integrations.
• Executes to policies and procedures related to data validation, data management and data governance.
• Collaborates with Business Intelligence, Retail, and other Facility Systems teams to ensure continuity and reporting needs are met.
• Responsible for supporting the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers.

TITLE: Sanitation Technicians 1

TERMS: Full Time –Non-Exempt Day / Night Shift

RATE OF PAY: $15.00 plus shift differential as applicable

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities of Sanitation Technicians are to wash the equipment for the facility. Sterilize reusable materials. Rotate the materials. Find appropriate storage for materials. Support rolls for departmental needs. In the cleaning of the processing rooms. Refill chemicals with proper rates for the departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
• Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.
• Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
• Unlocks doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas.
• Receive and clean harvest crates, shucking totes, hanging racks, and any other supplies needed for the cultivation and processing operations
• Clean and disinfect the processing rooms
• Reports needs and concerns to appropriate lead and/or supervisor which may include submitting or recommending work orders and checking supply levels, for positions within each department.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Assists in on-the-job training of new staff on routine procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.
• May perform functions which require the use of power washers to clean department tools, totes and other materials.
• May be required to handle department specific equipment such as Trim and Shucking equipment.
• May be required to handle cleaning supplies to refill chemical containers, as needed.
• May provide vendors with access to areas for cleaning and may answer basic questions. May report issues with vendors to supervisor.
• May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

TITLE: Sanitation Technicians 1

TERMS: Full Time –Non-Exempt Day / Night Shift

RATE OF PAY: $15.00 plus shift differential as applicable

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities of Sanitation Technicians are to wash the equipment for the facility. Sterilize reusable materials. Rotate the materials. Find appropriate storage for materials. Support rolls for departmental needs. In the cleaning of the processing rooms. Refill chemicals with proper rates for the departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
• Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.
• Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
• Unlocks doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas.
• Receive and clean harvest crates, shucking totes, hanging racks, and any other supplies needed for the cultivation and processing operations
• Clean and disinfect the processing rooms
• Reports needs and concerns to appropriate lead and/or supervisor which may include submitting or recommending work orders and checking supply levels, for positions within each department.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Assists in on-the-job training of new staff on routine procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.
• May perform functions which require the use of power washers to clean department tools, totes and other materials.

POSITION TITLE: Security Officer

POSITION STATUS: 2nd shift

POSITION RANGE OF PAY: $15 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform security duties under the guidance of the Director of Security, Security Manager, Security Supervisor, Team Lead and FTO with the goals of ensuring the protection of property against theft or vandalism; safeguarding of employees and other persons located on Copperstate property and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all fellow officers.

SECURITY OFFICER RESPONSIBLITIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results through adaptability, integrity, initiative, accountability, and communication.
• Perform notifications in accordance with applicable General Orders/SOPs;
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security of locks and chains; permitting entry via gate post duties
• Ensure you are able to report and communicate to management and emergency responders in an effective manner when needed/required;
• Know all emergency procedures that are in place for evacuation plans, fire emergencies, or threats to the facility or personnel;
• Know the location of the first aid kits, panic buttons, fire extinguishers, AED, and know how to use each;
• Communicate with fellow security guards when performing Post duties (every 30 minutes) and when changing Posts;
• All security personnel are required to be courteous, pleasant, and professional to all staff, visitors, and contractors;
• Ensure no entry for uninvited guests while assuming Gate post duties,
• Know the departments forms for everyday use and completes reports/ Post Logs entries by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities;
• Attend all required meetings, training sessions and daily shift change briefings;

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Safety Assistant will promote the Company’s commitment towards safety to all employees. Assist with data collection on work environments for analysis by Safety Officer. Assist with coordinating and facilitating training and compliance courses for employees to make sure all training is up to date. Assist with audits and maintain programs designed to limit chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic risks to workers.

SAFETY ASSISTANT RESPONSIBLITIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Compiles and distributes monthly training reports
• Enters, scans and maintains employee training records
• Assists in performing or collecting paperwork for weekly Tool Box Talks and/or OJT’s.
• Perform job site safety assessments and inspects work environments to ensure safety
• Ensure Safety signage is posted around the facility
• Compiles Safety Data Sheet (SDS) project binders.
• Data entry of Chemical lists, Safety Data Sheet’s (SDS), Safety Training, Audits, other data entry as needed
• Coordinates and submits medical questionnaires and arranges for respirator fit testing and training
• Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
• Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.
• Assist in maintaining the Company’s safety program.
• Perform jobsite safety assessments.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities of Sanitation Technicians are to wash the equipment for the facility. Sterilize reusable materials. Rotate the materials. Find appropriate storage for materials. Support rolls for departmental needs. In the cleaning of the processing rooms. Refill chemicals with proper rates for the departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
• Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.
• Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
• Unlocks doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas.
• Receive and clean harvest crates, shucking totes, hanging racks, and any other supplies needed for the cultivation and processing operations
• Clean and disinfect the processing rooms
• Reports needs and concerns to appropriate lead and/or supervisor which may include submitting or recommending work orders and checking supply levels, for positions within each department.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Assists in on-the-job training of new staff on routine procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.
• May perform functions which require the use of power washers to clean department tools, totes and other materials.
• May be required to handle department specific equipment such as Trim and Shucking equipment.
• May be required to handle cleaning supplies to refill chemical containers, as needed.

Job Description

Supervises take down of the flower, shucking of the flower, and trimming of flower to ensure proper workflow of the product so that it is effective and efficient.

PROCESSING SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBLITIES:

Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise the day to day operations of staff assigned to the processing department – Take down of dried flower, shucking of the dried flower, and trim processes of the finished flower:
  
  • Supervise the process of “Take down” post drying to ensure that it is done in an efficient and effective manner ensuring proper documentation of data for the product that is being processed.
  • Supervise the process of “Shucking” dried flower to ensure that it is done in an efficient and effective manner ensuring proper documentation of data for the product that is being processed.
  • Supervise responsibilities of all trim room functions (machine trim operations and hand trimmed flower) to ensure proper order fulfillment is completed in an efficient and effective manner ensuring proper documentation of product.
• Supervises all the administrative functions in the processing department – making sure weights are properly done and recorded, and that the product is tracked and stored appropriately.
• Keep documentation of your staff to assist your manager with the evaluation process of those employees that are assigned to the processing department.
• When hiring for positions within your department, work with your manager to determine the best candidate is chosen for the position.
• Ensuring policies, procedures and SOP’s are followed by employees in your department. When they are not followed, work with your department manager to ensure proper progressive discipline is followed using accurate documentation that you have collected and recorded.
• Track and record employee weekly performance for bonus pay to ensure those employees that are due to be paid a bonus get paid appropriately.
• Must be able to do physical labor in all types of environments within Copperstate Farms facility, such as the air-conditioned rooms within the facility, as well as the heat of the greenhouse, which can be over 100 degrees with high humidity.
• Must be able to work with and around marijuana plants and all of their bi-products.

Job Description

Machine Team Lead is responsible for handling product that enters and leaves the trim room. Ensure batch records are up to date and accurate before staging for the next Process. End of shift duties are completed including verifying Data is recorded in the correct Batch records, and performs an audit for weight match batch records, room sanitation and end of day communication with supervisor. Maintain a positive and healthy work environment. Must be organized and able to keep Processing Department moving smoothly and productive.

MACHINE TEAM LEAD RESPONSIBLITIES:

Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Work well and effectively with fellow co-workers.

• Transport, sort, and deliver all product to proper destination and communicate with the data entry Technician to keep all product in the correct location and real time inventory.

• Inform the supervisor of any weight differences.

• Approach and take charge of any situation that includes interactions with employees as well with other departments.

• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Job Description

Responsibilities of the Greenhouse Supervisor Flower (GHF) includes approving standard methods and procedures related to cultivation of cannabis, specifically relating to the deployment of personnel. GHF Supervisor is also responsible for the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) enforcement and training. Work together with the Director of Cultivation, Director of Greenhouse and the Greenhouse Manager in planning, forecasting, budgeting, greenhouse improvements and maintenance, plant maintenance, and other greenhouse related issues.

Greenhouse Supervisor -Flower (GHF) RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Oversee the operation of Flower Rooms in accordance with the SOPs.
• Responsible for appropriately staffing the greenhouse with the allocation Team Leaders, and general technicians to complete the company quotas.
• Understanding of all company SOPs prior to their implementation;

• Ensure the necessary equipment and materials are on hand to support the function of the greenhouse operations.

POSITION TITLE: HR Specialist

POSITION STATUS: Full-Time Salary Exempt

PAY RANGE: $42,000 - $55,000

Job Summary

Copperstate’s HR Specialist will independently oversee our HR shared services and HR service desk functions at locations and/or departments for 250+ team members. Key People Services roles include coordinating and processing new employee onboarding and orientation, payroll and HR service desk inquiries and support needs for managers and employees, HRIS data auditing and reporting, and all other shared services that intersect HR, managers and team members across the employee lifecycle. In addition to these key HR roles, the HR Specialist will work closely and collaboratively with all sub-departments in HR and will actively participate in special projects related to achievement of annual department goals and objectives. The HR Specialist will be an important contributor on our HR team to ensure Copperstate is one of the best places to work where we live to our mission, vision, and values.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Onboarding and Employee Lifecycle Administration and Management:

o Onboarding management and HRIS data entry oversight and audits for new hires.

o Status and HRIS/payroll change actions- process management and data integrity.

o Payroll/timesheet reminders and support for employees and managers.

o PTO, Time Off, and Leave administration and tracking.

o Assist with COVID-19 assessments, tracking, and leave administration.

o Open, maintain, and audit electronic personnel files ongoing.

• New Hire and New Manager Orientations:

o Involved in scheduling and coordinating new hire orientations and new manager orientations.

o Ongoing scheduling of new hires and new managers to attend orientation/training.

o Assist with facilitating all aspects of orientations as needed.

• Employee Licensing Administration:

o Primary contact upon recruiting of new hires- follow up on fingerprints and documentation for new hires and renewals.

o Work with HR Manager to provide documents required for DA/FA card submissions and renewals.

o Identify opportunities for automation and improvement to drive efficiencies in FA/DA card process.

• Benefits Assistance and Wellness Resources

o Provide answers and info on benefits as back-up to HR Benefits Specialist.

o Assist with benefits overview and orientation for new hires/newly eligible employees, as part of service desk role.

o Collaborate with and support HR team during annual Open Enrollment process.

• HR Compliance/ Policies & Procedures:

o Oversee and follow up on policy acknowledgments, policy sign off audits, and compliance audits.

o Create and maintain all personnel and I-9 electronic files.

• HRIS Metrics, Dashboards, Reports and Administration:

o Ongoing HRIS audits to ensure data integrity.

o HRIS reports management for HR and department leaders/managers.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management, including special projects aimed at goal achievement for the HR department.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Motivated individual with excellent administrative skills, willing to learn and grow in an HR Role.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Thorough knowledge and prior experience with Wurk/Kronos is preferred.

• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred; or

• At least 1+ years of similar HR Specialists experience with proven success in the role is required; or

• Excellent administrative skills/expertise and willing to grow and learn in an HR role is required.

• Handle the responsibilities and routine stress often associated with this position; be willing to work at a fast pace.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

POSITION TITLE: Sanitation Technicians (AKA: Phyto Tech)

POSITION STATUS: Day (Full Time) –Non-Exempt

POSITION RANGE OF PAY: $15 per hour

Job Description

Responsibilities of Sanitation Technicians are to wash the equipment for the facility. Sterilize reusable materials. Rotate the materials. Find appropriate storage for materials. Support rolls for departmental needs. In the cleaning of the processing rooms. Refill chemicals with proper rates for the departments.

SANITATION TECHNICIANS RESPONSIBLITIES:

Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Use power washer
• Dry totes
• Refill chemicals
• Handle equipment

o Trim machines

o Shucking machines

• Hand cleaning supplies
• Maintain a clean working area.
• Receive and clean harvest crates, shucking totes, hanging racks, and any other supplies needed for the cultivation and processing operations
• Clean and disinfect the processing rooms

ACCEPTABLE EDUTATION AND TRAINING:

• Reading, writing and math
• Following directions
• High School diploma or GED
• Previous cannabis experience recommended;
• Previous management or supervisor experience recommended;

POSITION TITLE: Security Officer

POSITION STATUS: 2nd shift

POSITION RANGE OF PAY: $15 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform security duties under the guidance of the Director of Security, Security Manager, Security Supervisor, Team Lead and FTO with the goals of ensuring the protection of property against theft or vandalism; safeguarding of employees and other persons located on Copperstate property and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all fellow officers.

SECURITY OFFICER RESPONSIBLITIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results through adaptability, integrity, initiative, accountability, and communication.
• Perform notifications in accordance with applicable General Orders/SOPs;
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security of locks and chains; permitting entry via gate post duties
• Ensure you are able to report and communicate to management and emergency responders in an effective manner when needed/required;
• Know all emergency procedures that are in place for evacuation plans, fire emergencies, or threats to the facility or personnel;
• Know the location of the first aid kits, panic buttons, fire extinguishers, AED, and know how to use each;
• Communicate with fellow security guards when performing Post duties (every 30 minutes) and when changing Posts;
• All security personnel are required to be courteous, pleasant, and professional to all staff, visitors, and contractors;
• Ensure no entry for uninvited guests while assuming Gate post duties,
• Know the departments forms for everyday use and completes reports/ Post Logs entries by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities;
• Attend all required meetings, training sessions and daily shift change briefings;
• Effectively use the proper chain of command for issues that may arise;
• Works well and effectively with fellow co-workers with enfaces on adaptability
• Maintain confidentiality of information that is meant to be confidential while maintaining the highest level of integrity.
• Conduct order fulfillment count as dictated and required
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Security, Security Manager, Security Supervisor, and/or Team Lead(s) and FTOs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma;
• Previous security, military, or police experience preferred.

• Must be able to effectively communicate, in writing, information that explains who, what, where, when, and why and How an event happened.
