The Role

JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking a Vice President of Retail Store Development, Facilities, & Operations Strategy to join our corporate team in Chicago, IL. As a member of the Sunnyside* Retail Leadership Team, The VP of Retail Store Development & Facilities is a key strategic leader in the successful conceptualization, rollout, operations, and maintenance of Sunnyside* dispensaries. The individual will work closely with other cross-functional leaders to ensure continuity of the store experience is on par with brand expectations while delivering consistent facility maintenance. The role will also be accountable for the overall design, look and feel and go-to market strategy for all Cresco Labs dispensary channels. This individual is responsible for identifying design scope for all new and existing dispensaries, sourcing Fixtures, Furniture and Equipment. Further, this role will work in partnership with the Construction Organization and Real Estate Organization to provide input with Architects, Design Consultants and Suppliers. Additionally, this individual will serve as the lead for new-store openings, new market integrations and major store renovations. CORE JOB DUTIES

New store deals/site selection:
- Assist the Real Estate committee in the new dispensary site selection
- Facilitate new dispensary modeling proforma to evaluate new dispensary locations.
- Interface with real estate brokers, landlords and landlord representatives in negotiating new store buildouts, in partnership with the Real Estate Organization.
- Provide feasibility "test-fit" plans to ensure proposed locations meet dispensary requirements.
- Work with Government and Public Affairs in the generation of design collateral for state applications.

Store design, planning, operations execution:
- Deliver concise directives for the vision of Retail, consisting of the overall look, feel, and operational considerations to maximize the store footprint.
- Work in partnership with the Construction organization to onboard and manage AE suppliers by ultimately delivering a final concept derived by the retail vision; the derived plan will be executed by the Construction organization with continuous consultation as needed through the process.
- Creation of full project scope for any/all retail dispensary projects (New stores, Remodels, Rebrands and Refreshes).
- Create preliminary floorplans and present to leadership for approval.
- Maintain prototypical specifications, documentations, and fixture designs.
- Review design development set from the Architects prior to construction
- Review final construction documents prior to DOB/LL
- Manage the rebranding process for all acquired new dispensaries.
- Liaise with the Construction department in ensuring brand standards for dispensary buildouts are met.
- Owner of store execution, serving in a Project Manager (PM) capacity in order to operationalize the new/remodeled store; daily oversight and continuous bi-weekly sessions will be critical
- Driving the timeline with key milestones dictated for each Retail Operations division will be critical for the preparedness of the launch; Retail Operations includes: Regional Director, Training & Development Director, Retail Marketing, Retail Human Resources, Security, Compliance
- Clear communication and attainable timelines will be instrumental to drive cross-functional ownership and continuity for each department
- Partnership with assigned leaders to ensure Standard Operational Procedures (SOP's) are fully vetted and instituted prior to opening
- Oversees installation of each operational workstream
- Final execution of assigned tasks, reporting consistently to achieve workstream milestones; working through challenges with timeline shortfalls and partnering with Senior Leadership on any workstream that jeopardizes project timeline

Construction, purchasing, and procurement:
- Hire, onboard and manage Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment (FF&E) suppliers including millwork, lighting, flooring, and signage.
- Negotiate and qualify suppliers in coordination with Strategic Sourcing.
- Review and approve vendor proposals.
- Product sourcing as needed.
- Ensure materials are purchased and inventory maintained per the development schedule.

- Manage the day-to-day repair and maintenance activities for all retail dispensaries.
- Direct oversight for the overall maintenance of each Sunnyside* Dispensary
- Delivery of maintenance agreements and execution of assigned daily/monthly/quarterly tasks
- Seasonal maintenance evaluations to be executed to ensure consistency of upkeep across all Sunnyside* locations
- Interface with Real Estate for any LL issue escalations
- Focused effort to drive consistent best-practice communication to swiftly resolve common maintenance requests to further enhance the overall customer experience
- Delivery of swift follow up to critical maintenance issues by formalizing local/market partnerships with specific preventative maintenance tactics
- Measurements of success:
- Annual budget allocation measurements, including specific cost-savings tactical measures to be evaluated quarterly

JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Senior Vice President of Operations will be responsible for the site level operations within their region, including processing, packaging, maintenance, cultivation, manufacturing, production, and supply chain/distribution. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible, successful experience in a high-growth CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), NHP (Natural Health Products) or healthcare organization, including
- 7+ years managing a large team across multiple sites

About the role:
Verde Natural is seeking an experienced cannabis professional with a demonstrated track record in operations and with a depth of knowledge in cultivation, extraction, logistics, and compliance at an established cannabis company, to manage the company’s day to day operations in Humboldt County, California. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage and oversee day to day operations in the extraction lab, genetics lab, distribution center, and cultivation sites
- Collaborate with the COO and the VP of Operations in CO on cultivation and extraction planning, product allocations, data analysis, QC, and logistics
- Collaborate with the lead cultivators to ensure operational efficiency, production consistency, timely planting, harvesting, and transportation
- Oversee the Company’s northern CA payroll in all departments, including hiring and firing with oversight from the Executive Team
- Collaborate with the Company’s Head of Compliance to ensure above board compliant operations
- Manage all vendor and 3rd party relationships, including contract negotiation and execution
- Assist in creating budgets with the Company’s Executive and Finance teams. This includes cash management responsibilities
- Following through on tasks as assigned by the COO and CEO to achieve the company’s strategic objectives
Minimum experience required:
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree a must
- At least 2 years experience in the regulated cannabis industry. Broader cannabis experience a plus.
- Outstanding organizational, planning skills and task management skills; Must be flexible, resilient, intensely persistent, determined and able to keep focus in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Task oriented with excellent time management skills, follow-through, and ability to prioritize a diverse body of work

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Product Availability
- Oversight of the day to day production and delivery of inventory to the stores in a manner that meets demand

- Maximize production capacity for all production facilities

The Senior Vice President of Operations will oversee the processing, packaging, engineering, and overall facility maintenance, with close collaboration across cultivation, manufacturing, production, and supply chain/distribution across our facilities nationally. - Understands current operating procedures in each facility and identifies ways to standardize procedures and best practices across all facilities

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Excellence, a plus
- 10+ years leading operations in highly regulated industry, preferably within a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- 5+ years leading and developing a large team of individuals across multiple disciplines and locationswithin a high growth environment
- Experience managing P&L
- Green Belt certification required, Black Belt a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Experience using ERP and WMS software
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices within a manufacturing facility
- Proven ability to manage numerous projects, as well as resources, remotely
- Experience leading and executing large projects across multiple sites, including management of project finances

The Vice President Manufacturing Operations will oversee all our manufacturing sites and related operations. Specific Duties and responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and executional oversight to the operations organization which includes cultivation, research/engineering, safety, quality, and supply chain functions.
- Develop, communicate and implement effective growth strategies, operational processes, technology advancements, and organizational development plans to drive continuous improvement through operational excellence and efficiency.
- Ensure the outgoing quality, safety and efficacy of all finished product, compliance with all applicable specifications, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize Cultivation performance through implementation of best practices across all stages of manufacturing (including cloning, propagating, harvesting, drying, curing, and trimming).
- Refine pertinent Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure performance, guide improvement, and communicate progress. Develop and maintain operational plans to include all business requirements including labor hours, production costs, and KPI reporting to meet financial objectives and safety, quality, and customer service goals.
- Ensure production efficiency through cost-effective management of labor/resources, procurement, inventory management, and production planning.
- Recruit, manage, and lead managers and staff with the skills to maintain a high-quality organization. Train and develop staff to enhance skills, accountability, adaptability and capability to work individually and in teams.
- Develop sound short and long-range financial plans for functional areas including projections of expenses and capital requirements.
- Assists with the opening or acquisition of new locations and business initiatives within the firm.
- Champions and reinforces exceptional ethical standards through personal actions creating a culture of professionalism, honesty and integrity. Provides the leadership and management aligned with the mission and core values of the company; Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Management, Logistics or related field required, MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience, with 5+ in a senior level leadership position with direct P&L oversight in manufacturing environment, preferably with at least five years’ experience leading a large multi-site or multi-State group in manufacturing and supply chain. Minimum of 10 years managing staff required. Experience in a union environment preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of lean manufacturing, technology, and industry standards. Six Sigma certification and/or education in lean/efficient engineering practices strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with proven results in strategic planning, analytics, and process improvement
- Technical operations background preferred combined with experience bringing new products to market.
- Must be a problem solver, decisive and results-oriented leader with a high sense of urgency.

About the role:
Verde Natural is seeking an experienced cannabis professional with a demonstrated track record in operations and with a depth of knowledge in cultivation, extraction, logistics, and compliance at an established cannabis company, to manage the company’s day to day operations in Humboldt County, California. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage and oversee day to day operations in the extraction lab, genetics lab, distribution center, and cultivation sites

ACT Laboratories is currently a seeking a full-time Vice President of Laboratory Operations.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Laboratory Operations will perform a number of roles including working with new and emerging customer base to provide technical insight and support; providing guidance and review of key technical documents prior to submission to customers and regulators, working with laboratory leaders to create, monitor and improve upon key performance metrics, overseeing the implementation of key corporate initiatives (e.g. LIMS, new state roll-out plans, implementation of new standardized methodologies across multiple sites etc.).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the sales team to provide technical support for on-boarding of new customers
- Define the necessary work effort in order to begin testing of new dosage forms

Work with laboratory sites and the Finance team to establish long-term capacity and productivity plans
- Support the development and execution of the ACT Laboratories Strategic Plan

Coordinate the selection and implementation of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Work with the Laboratory Operations team to ensure successful design and introduction of new labs within the ACT Laboratories network
- Lead the Laboratory Operations Project Management function
- Oversee the Technical Services function responsible for method development, validation, troubleshooting, facility/equipment maintenance and Analyst training
- Provide technical review of key development documents, which will be provided to customers and/or regulators

Work with customers and ACT Laboratories operations to design and conduct laboratory investigations
- Oversee the implementation of new methodologies across multiple laboratories
Additional Responsibilities:
- Work with internal and external groups to investigate the cause of and resolve key technical issues
- Develop implementation strategies to ensure compliance with emerging state and ACT Laboratories compliance requirements
- Represents COO at key technical meetings and at meetings with state regulators, as necessary
- Other duties as may be assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Chemistry or related science with 10 + years’ experience; or MS degree in Chemistry or related science with 5 years’ experience; or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or related science with 3 years' experience; advanced degree preferred
- Experience in cannabis testing preferred
- Knowledge of analytical laboratory services
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, have big picture thinking and demonstrate attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and to prioritize scheduling of work
- Willingness to travel within the US (50%)
- Able to successfully complete criminal history background information check, assuring no disqualifying records

Reporting to the Chairman of the Board of Sonoma Lab Works, the President of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operations.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
- Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
- Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization’s business plan and vision.
- Ensure that the laboratory operates in accordance with the ISO- 17025 Laboratory Standard.
- Manage negotiations with global suppliers and vendors.
- Implement key performance indicators to drive improvements while providing leadership and growing the team.
- Work with cross-functional leaders to align and execute overall strategies.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.
- Establishes and administers the department’s budget.
- Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
- Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
- Performs other business-related activities such as (but not limited to) business development and sales.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management-level staff in the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Able to travel by air and auto, overnight travel occasionally required.

What You Will Be Doing:
Reporting to the CEO the VP of Operations will be responsible for daily management of the entire operations team. The VP of Operations will oversee the execution of Docklight’s supply chain across multiple brands and product categories. Areas of ownership include inventory management, production planning, contract manufacturing, quality control, warehousing, distribution and customer service functions. This position is responsible for COGS, through-put efficiencies, scrap rate, freight rate and on time rates. These goals will be accomplished by effectively executing Docklight’s brand plans. This is a hands-on role that requires adept team leadership and the ability to think and operate both tactically and strategically.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspect of a growing operations team. This includes: Production Planning & Demand Planning, Cost of Goods Sold & Margin management, Weeks on hand thresholds & inventory optimization, On-time fulfillment rate & inventory accuracy, Quality & QA Fulfillment & 3PL management, Contract manufacturing management, contract negotiations, pricing, Inventory slippage, scrap & loss Freight In & Freight Out Procurement
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings for all of the above; and develop an action plan to realize improvements
- Provide vision and direction for all operational activities for all Docklight brands
- Lead the operational components of the strategic plan within the business
- Collaborate with the board to identify key risks and opportunities
- Oversee the company S&OP Process - coach and develop direct reports
- Develop and manage operations scorecard and metric reporting
- Serve as Operations representative for new product development and commercialization processes
- Take ownership of the entire supply chain
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of senior operations experience within the CPG industry
- 8-10 years of manufacturing management and/or co packer management
- Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills
- Strategic planning, P&L management, and change management is required
- Strong understanding of both demand planning and production planning
- Inventory Management System and/or ERP System implementation experience
- Solid understanding of requirements to deliver profitable business
- Strong understanding of supply chain
- Proven analytical and inventory management skills including but not limited to BOM management
- Entrepreneurial spirit who thinks outside the box
