Position Duties & Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow all rules and regulations set forth by the State of Pennsylvania Department of Health Medical Marijuana Program for the delivery of medical marijuana
- Shipping
-Organizing the orders for the day and picking product to prepare for shipment
-Preparing all appropriate shipping documents/labels
-To package, label, sort and count merchandise for shipments to specific dispensary locations
-To manage and identify packages for each delivery location
-To create, organize and print manifests to instruct the delivery drivers on their routes for delivery
-Optimize the delivery routes and schedules based on delivery commitments and geographic locations of the stores
-To notify the Department of Health (DOH) with the details of the manifests for delivery
-Getting shipments out promptly in accordance with the department goals and quality standards
-Manage and maintain communications with the delivery locations as well as operations management to ensure timely and successful deliveries
- Within 2 days of the delivery, to provide DOH with the manifests with signatures obtained from the driver(s) after deliveries
-Seeks out opportunities for continuous improvement in the process of shipping.
- Receiving
-Unpacks incoming shipments/deliveries in a safe and organized manner
-Performs order receipt verification and maintains good records of incoming quality
-Cross-checks that proper materials have arrived, verifies quantities and meets the quality standards for the material.
