What You Will Be Doing:
Docklight is seeking a motivated, dynamic and team-oriented quality assurance professional to join a growing legal & compliance team supporting a global business. The Quality Assurance Analyst position will help develop and implement first-in-class programs for Quality Assurance and Quality Control that ensure Docklight products meet the highest quality standards and consumer demand. This position will be based in our Seattle office, and will report to the Director of Regulatory Compliance. Candidates must have excellent business judgment and the ability to work both independently, as well as collaboratively, in a collegial, fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate and maintain organized documentation for product master records and batch records, specifications, and sampling results.
- Perform site inspections and audits at active or potential contract manufacturers and ingredient providers.
- Assist in development of internal processes and program materials supporting Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices.
- Manage relationships with laboratories and ensure raw materials and finished goods testing is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Potentially assist in vendor site audits for GMP compliance.
- Clearly and efficiently analyze issues and communicate options in the face of ambiguity.
- Prepare and deliver relevant trainings to internal clients
Qualifications
- 2+ years of QA/QC or similar experience in consumer products industry, food and beverage experience a plus.
- Laboratory experience or chemistry background a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
- Excellent business judgment and the ability to work both independently, as well as collaboratively, in a collegial, fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to digest new information quickly and react positively to new and challenging opportunities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal peers and outside parties.

What You Will Be Doing:

The Senior Compliance Analyst position will help develop and implement first-in-class programs for Regulatory Compliance and QA/QC that ensure Docklight products meet the highest quality standards and consumer demand. This position will be based in our Seattle office, and will report to the Director of Regulatory Compliance. Candidates must have excellent business judgment and the ability to work both independently, as well as collaboratively, in a collegial, fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate and maintain organized documentation for product master records and batch records, specifications, and sampling results.
- Perform site inspections and audits at active or potential contract manufacturers and ingredient providers.

- Review unique state requirements for sale of cannabis-derived products and assist in development and implementation of systems to support state-by-state compliance.
- Complete packaging, label, and claims reviews/approvals for FDA, FTC and USDA regulated products.
- Clearly and efficiently analyze issues and communicate options in the face of ambiguity.
- Prepare and deliver relevant training to internal clients.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of regulatory compliance or similar experience.
- 3-5 years of auditing and/or leading continuous improvement of internal compliance programs and supplier, contract manufacturer and vendor quality assurance systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines.
- Excellent business judgment and the ability to work both independently, as well as collaboratively, in a collegial, fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to digest new information quickly and react positively to new and challenging opportunities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal peers and outside parties.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Must be able to relocate to the Greater Seattle, WA area.

What You Will Be Doing:
Reporting to the CEO the VP of Operations will be responsible for daily management of the entire operations team. The VP of Operations will oversee the execution of Docklight’s supply chain across multiple brands and product categories. Areas of ownership include inventory management, production planning, contract manufacturing, quality control, warehousing, distribution and customer service functions. This position is responsible for COGS, through-put efficiencies, scrap rate, freight rate and on time rates. These goals will be accomplished by effectively executing Docklight’s brand plans. This is a hands-on role that requires adept team leadership and the ability to think and operate both tactically and strategically.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspect of a growing operations team. This includes: Production Planning & Demand Planning, Cost of Goods Sold & Margin management, Weeks on hand thresholds & inventory optimization, On-time fulfillment rate & inventory accuracy, Quality & QA Fulfillment & 3PL management, Contract manufacturing management, contract negotiations, pricing, Inventory slippage, scrap & loss Freight In & Freight Out Procurement
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings for all of the above; and develop an action plan to realize improvements
- Provide vision and direction for all operational activities for all Docklight brands
- Lead the operational components of the strategic plan within the business
- Collaborate with the board to identify key risks and opportunities
- Oversee the company S&OP Process - coach and develop direct reports
- Develop and manage operations scorecard and metric reporting
- Serve as Operations representative for new product development and commercialization processes
- Take ownership of the entire supply chain
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of senior operations experience within the CPG industry
- 8-10 years of manufacturing management and/or co packer management
- Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills
- Strategic planning, P&L management, and change management is required
- Strong understanding of both demand planning and production planning
- Inventory Management System and/or ERP System implementation experience
- Solid understanding of requirements to deliver profitable business
- Strong understanding of supply chain
- Proven analytical and inventory management skills including but not limited to BOM management
- Entrepreneurial spirit who thinks outside the box

- Leader who thrives in a team atmosphere
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master preferred but not necessary

This role will serve as primary support for the CEO in an administrative support capacity. The perfect candidate will be extremely organized, well-spoken, communicate effectively in written form, proficient in the MS Office Suite, and comfortable with communication technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains executive’s appointment schedules by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel (lunch orders, expense reports etc)
- Acting as the point of contact between the executive and internal/external clients
- Undertaking the tasks of receiving calls, taking messages and routing correspondence
- Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
