The VP of Operations is responsible for all aspects of the company's operation in Missouri, including profit and loss, Grow, Processing/ Manufacturing, Wholesale Sales, Retail Operations, all administrative functions including but not limited to accounting, financial reporting, HR, legal, purchasing, marketing, brand management, project management, medical and adult use markets, and continuous improvement. The VP of Operations will collaborate with the CEO, COO and other active ownership to ensure operational and sales goals and timelines are met within budget and executed in compliance with the ORMO Operating Agreement, and limitations of authority and any appropriate federal, state and local laws and regulations, including all Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services regulations.
The VP of Operations will have direct reports including the Chaffee Facilities Manager, all Dispensary Managers, the Security Manager, and all administrative/ infrastructure personnel.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate all aspects of operations to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, including Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), company policy and alignment with company vision mission and core values.
- Responsible for Profit and Loss/ cash management of Grow, Process/ Manufacturing and Retail units. Collaborate with the CEO and CFO and active ownership on operations of Grow/ Process/ Manufacturingand all wholesale and retail sales.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, Government regulators, other licenses Missouri owners to ensure alignment with company objectives and values.
- Manage purchasing and sales of wholesale and retail products.
- Oversight of logistics and transportation team, or third party, licensed operators.
- Screen, interview, hire and train managers and supervisors. Direct reports are responsible for hiring their own team/ However, the VP of Operations should participate in selection processes to ensure quality fit for company and role.
- Develop key performance indices (KPIs) for Grow, Process/ Manufacturing and Retail, as well as all other support departments and back office.
- Provide a monthly summary report with KPIs including summary perspective of company's performance, including financial performance in key areas, as well as action plans to improve performance or attain competitive advantage in the market place.
- Develop and implement an employee performance evaluation framework and merit/ promotion plan in conjunction with the Human Resources Manager and CEO.
- Analyze, develop, and implement continuous review of company standard operating procedures and adjust as necessary with CEO approval to ensure compliance with company policy and DHSS regulations.
- Act as the point of contact with DHSS Director for all regulatory issues.
- Represent the company with local and state government relations and the industry trade association MOCANN.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- 10 + years of production and retail managerial experience; cannabis experience preferred
- Creative and innovative and the ability to adapt to market changes and make timely decisions to meet the opportunities at hand
- Proven strategic planning and budgeting experience
- Excellent leadership abilities and the ability to motivate the team to a higher performance level
- Demonstrated experience in developing strategic plans and executing results, while setting, monitoring and meeting quarterly and annual goals

- Collect quality data and report metrics to management.
- Monitors compliance to established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidance.
- Associates Degree required
- Prior experience in regulated industry in healthcare, medical devices, government, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods (food), or cannabis is highly desired.
- Highly desirable: FDA, GMP, SQF, and/or HACCP experience.
- Strong experience with product sampling and inspection.
- Ability to follow written procedures and monitor others for adherence to written procedures.
- Ability to create or update written procedures with site operations personnel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of ORGANIC REMEDIES.

You should be very technically astute in mechanical, electrical, and computer operated systems utilized in production/manufacturing environments. You need to be proactive, quick thinking and innovative in your approach.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of equipment and plant materials for extraction
- Execution of extraction and processing in accordance with state regulations and company standard operating procedures
- Ensure consistency and efficiency of product through quality control testing and procedures
- Cleaning and maintenance of extraction equipment and manufacturing facility
- Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment used in work area
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the entire extraction space beginning with storing the raw cannabis through the extraction process and all the way to fulfillment of orders
- Operating, maintaining, extraction equipment
- Storing supplies and equipment and disposal of waste according to guidelines
- Complete the cleaning and sanitization of all production equipment, work surfaces, and tools

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree or its equivalent, from a recognized college or university, with a major in chemistry or biology preferred
- 1 year of lab experience

- Familiarity with separations, isolations and fractionation
- Knowledge of solvent and non-solvent extraction methods

The Logistics Manager will work closely with the Production Planner to understand what needs to packaged and when, as well as working with the Inventory Control Manager to oversee the preparation of product for delivery to the dispensaries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises, trains and motivates staff
- Completes evaluations and provides feedback
- Performs packaging functions, filling, printing labels, applying stickers etc.
- Portions and weighs products for packaging
- Responsible for packaging flower, distillate, concentrates and other products from a whole mass production state to a compliant, branded, ready for purchase state.
- Responsible for parsing out weight, applying various stickers and ensuring all around quality
- Responsible for pulling correct number of products from the vault for specific orders. This requires attention to detail and counting skills
- Aid in maintaining correct storage, labeling, and inventory management of all finished product.
- Must be able to fulfill all packaging duties in a timely, clean, and safe practice.
- Expected to package flower, distillate products, concentrates and fill vapor cartridges in a timely manner while reducing waste.
- Must always be monitoring and checking product for flaws, contamination, sugaring, discoloration, anything out of the ordinary.
- Makes sure there is adequate inventory packaged each shift/day.
- Makes sure product, dispensary and tamper proof labels are printed accurately and correctly placed on each product.
- Works with the Inventory Manager to ensure information is entered into the Metrc correctly.
- Creates reports
- Oversees deliveries prior to them leaving the facility.
- Implements processes and procedures to ensure deliveries are error free
- Other duties as assigned or requested

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a management position in manufacturing, inventory management, business logistics required
- Experience in the medicinal cannabis field or pharmaceutical industry preferred
- Able to manage and delegate to staff in a fast-paced environment
- Experience building teams
- Proven track record of strategic planning and driving revenue
- Experience creating and reporting key performance indicators, weekly/bi-weekly metrics executive summaries
- Excellent computer and communication skills
- Excellent mathematical, language and reasoning skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's Degree preferred

Organic Remedies Extraction Technician to support our extraction and production operations. You should be very technically astute in mechanical, electrical, and computer operated systems utilized in production/manufacturing environments. You need to be proactive, quick thinking and innovative in your approach.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of equipment and plant materials for extraction
- Execution of extraction and processing in accordance with state regulations and company standard operating procedures
- Ensure consistency and efficiency of product through quality control testing and procedures
- Cleaning and maintenance of extraction equipment and manufacturing facility
- Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment used in work area
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the entire extraction space beginning with storing the raw cannabis through the extraction process and all the way to fulfillment of orders
- Operating, maintaining, extraction equipment
- Storing supplies and equipment and disposal of waste according to guidelines
- Complete the cleaning and sanitization of all production equipment, work surfaces, and tools
- Maintaining inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment and preparing requisitions as needed
- Following all standard operating procedures regarding product creation and lab safety
- Assist in packaging and labeling of finished products
- Works with testing laboratory as defined by state guidelines
- Production of infused products
- All other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree or its equivalent, from a recognized college or university, with a major in chemistry or biology preferred
- 1 year of lab experience
- Understanding of state and local laws
- Understanding of proper and safe handling of hazardous materials
- Familiarity with separations, isolations and fractionation
- Knowledge of solvent and non-solvent extraction methods
- Stay current of practices and new developments in the cannabis extraction industry
- Ability to work quickly without compromising accuracy
- Ability to discern the quality of plant material and finished products
- Strong computer and social skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
WORK SCHEDULE:
- 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsible for packaging concentrates from a whole mass production state to a compliant, branded, ready for purchase state. Responsible for parsing out weight, applying various stickers, attaching test results, ensuring all around quality, heat sealing, and cleaning and polishing of different Organic Remedies SKUs. Must be able to fulfill all packaging duties in a timely, clean, and safe practice.
Responsibilities
- Required to work with scientific scales, and must follow proper calibration requirement at the beginning of each day to ensure accuracy.
- Expected to package, shatter, badder, and fill vapor cartridges in a timely manner while reducing waste.
- Ability to stay focused for long periods of time on a single task.
- Must always be monitoring and checking product for flaws, contamination, sugaring, discoloration, anything out of the ordinary.
- Must work well independently
- Must wear proper lab attire at all times while working with product (gloves, face mask, hair net, non-slip shoes, and clean lab scrubs).
- Other Duties as needed.
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Detail oriented and highly motivated, organized and hard working.
- Physical dexterity is required.
- Medical Marijuana industry experiences is preferred.
- Maintain appropriate personal and work environment hygiene.
- Accountable and trustworthy.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
