Locally owned and operated cannabis company seeks four (4) new team members motivated to work with and learn everything about our products. Packaging and Compliance is a quickly growing department with opportunities for professional growth and development. This department is responsible for choreographing the flow of bulk inventory into our retail and wholesale revenue streams.
A typical day consists of receiving bulk material and processing it into retail packages. For instance, you may receive 200g of Shatter, with the expectation that you accurately and efficiently process it into 200x .5g and 100x 1g retail packages within a four (4) shift. You will gain hands-on experience with various cannabis concentrates, edibles, flower, pre-rolls, tinctures, creams, and all of the packaging to support them.
This is an entry level position with a focus on training. Knowing what to do, although critical, is not enough. We strive to deliver an understanding of WHY we do what we do. Once fully trained on packaging product, we begin training you for a leadership role with objectives including inventory/ supply management, labor management, production/efficiency management, training junior members, metric harvesting/ analysis, standard operating procedure authorship/implementation and Montana State compliance requirements/ tracking.
Fully trained members are automatically eligible for advancement and will be considered for full time leadership opportunities within the department based on merit, performance, opportunity and interest. After six months of service, team members are eligible to transfer to other departments based on need, opportunity and merit.
Quality of work-life matters to us. We support this with regular scheduled breaks, constructive feedback, kindness, respect, clear and reasonable expectations and universally/equally implemented accountability. We operate based on merit, and as such our team can dictate the trajectory of their career with us, day by day, decision by decision.
Packaging and Compliance values the ideas and input of all our staff members and partners. If the local mail carrier had a great idea, it would be listened to, valued and would be implemented as a best practice as appropriate. Your input, ideas, thoughts and considerations are important to us, and could help us perfect “how we do, what we do.” You’ll always be in a position to earn your place, make an impact, and make your mark.
