Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Oversees grow, hash-making, packaging and fulfillment departments, ensuring each is reaching goals set by departmental and company leadership.
- Facilitates and leads Whole Team Meetings and Whole Team Cleaning sessions; facilitates Leadership Huddle Meetings for department managers.
- Communicates and explains new policies and procedures to department managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
- Leads coordination and integration of all departments to promote smooth and efficient workflow.
- Handles scheduled and unscheduled inspections by the MED, local law enforcement, fire department and department of agriculture.

Position Summary:
Exit 243 is a brand new dispensary currently being built off I-70 in Idaho Springs. It is in a premier location and is the first roadside recreational dispensary after Denver on the way out to the mountains. We are looking for a General Manager to assist with the development of the entire storefront, then manage the store after the buildout is complete.
The Dispensary General Manager will be responsible for oversight of Exit 243 Dispensary. The General Manager oversees the daily operation of the dispensary, handling the needs of all customers, and developing a professional team that is passionate about cannabis sales. This position will be an experienced leader who is able to help our developing company build out policies and practices. Priorities include the implementation policies, oversight and management of quality product inventory and the hiring, development and supervision of dispensary staff.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and lead the retail team, with responsibility for defining team strategy and project plans to execute initiatives.
- Primary liaison between the executive management team and store team to ensure that all information is communicated in a timely, consistent and brand appropriate manner.
- Manage and inspire internal staff to deliver the highest level of customer service.
- Drive efficiencies in store scheduling, payroll forecasting, reporting and administration of incentive programs.
- Responsible for providing a high level of education and development for staff pertaining to medical cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates and consumption mechanisms.
- Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling.
- Communicate with and coach staff on a regular basis to ensure the dispensary's excellence in service and labor practices within the community.
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of every customer and employee.

- Manage and maintain dispensary sales and inventory management software.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of METRC, cannabis regulations and internal databases as it pertains to the dispensary.
- Ability to research, evaluate and adapt to new product lines, compliance updates and techniques for operational improvement.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents relating to dispensary performance, general business periodicals, professional journals, safety, security and technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately.
- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
- Proven leadership ability, as well as strength in building internal partnerships.
- Ability to think strategically and develop achievable long term goals.
- Strong organizational, project management and time management skills to successfully implement strategic initiatives from initial idea through execution.
- Strong quantitative, analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Additional Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience managing a dispensary.
Must have reliable transportation.
Willing to work additional hours and some weekends to ensure the storefront is operating properly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
