JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Field Marketing Representative (FMR) you will be the face of the brand at various events in the field and in store with key retail partners. You will build relationships with key strategic partners, provide sampling and product demonstrations to consumers and engage budtenders (BT) by way of education and sampling on KIVA products. In this role, you will largely be responsible for encouraging growth of brand awareness and trial. FMRs will report to their local territory Market Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent all KIVA product lines across the entire portfolio
- Conduct in–store demos, as assigned by your regional Market Manager and partnered distribution partner’s sales team
- Create a unique patient experience within a modular footprint to increase brand awareness and build customer loyalty
- Communicate facts regarding proper dosing, nutrition and key functions and benefits of cannabis, as well as how it relates to the Kiva products
- Provide samples and gift branded swag to interested patients
- Track all activity and consumer insights/feedback through digital recaps
- Be the eyes and ears of KIVA from the field, reporting observations regarding retail accounts as well as competitor activity
- Communicate success stories, key learnings, and other activities to your manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Extraction Technician will be responsible for assisting in product processing and formulation. The extraction technician completes tasks assigned by the Extraction Manager to monitor and maintain the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of production areas as well as to maintain quality control measures. This position is responsible for assisting with lab production, which includes but not limited to distillation, extraction, winterization, production of cannabis infused products, compliance requirements and workplace safety.

Maintenance Technician (HVAC)
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for HVAC equipment onsite, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pip fitting, and structural layouts. In this position you will establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer, and face to face. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service request including replacement, and modifications of equipment or systems as needed or requested by the grow house team. - Working with contractors and vendors
- Performing troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems
- Handling emergency service calls after business hours on an on-call rotation
- Perform building maintenance and building maintenance as required, using hand tools motorized lifts and machine tools such as lathe mills, grinders, etc.
- Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials by hand or with the use of powered equipment.
- Paints, installs drywall and makes interior changes as required
- Observes appearances and conditions of premises and equipment; reports needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring outside vendor services.
- Scrubs, strips, sanitizes, waxes, and buffs floors using powered machines equipped with rotating brushes.
- Cleans grounds and parking lots of litter, glass or other debris.
- Loads and unloads supplies, and moves heavy furniture and equipment using dollies, handcarts, or power equipment. Replaces light bulbs and fuses.

The Purchasing Manager will have a depth of knowledge in their field combined with the open mind critical to embracing the changes necessary for High Life Farms to continue to be successful.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for controlling the company inventory, making sure that the inventory level is reviewed periodically and that the levels meet our company supply needs
- Developing the organization's procurement rules and regulations
- Establishing guidelines on safety stock, reorder point, and quoting.
- Act as the buyer of durable assets for automation, scaling, and other functions
- Assist accounting and planning with capital expenditure approval processes when needed
- Establishing guidelines and evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support, and contracts of components

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a member of the management team, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and maintenance of the facilities and capital assets of the Company. Duties include adhering to operating policies and procedures, and lead in planning, direction, and coordination of projects and maintenance related to all buildings, equipment, and High Life Farms, VB Chesaning, LLC hard assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Continually inspects and assesses facility structure to determine needed repairs and renovations
· Plans and coordinates all repairs, installations, and refurbishments with site management to ensure adequate resources (financial and human) are attained to facilitate projects/improvements
· Maintains inventory of critical items for building operations (light bulbs, toilet paper, etc.) and refreshes inventory as required
· Supervises maintenance related contractors and vendors in the performance of outsourced tasks or functions
· Collaborates with the site management team to ensure facility compliance with state, federal, local, and industry specific legislation/regulations
· Assists management in identifying, planning, and budgeting for building repairs, improvements, and expansions
· Oversees utility costs/consumption and continually seeks opportunities to improve energy utilization and reduce costs without impacting projected yields
· Collaborates with the site management team to establish and execute an annual facilities budget
· Manages the prioritization and execution of work orders within the facility
· Develops and executes a preventative maintenance program for the facilities, vehicles and equipment
· Manages and maintains service and repair records for all managed assets (vehicles, generators, etc.)
· Operates a variety of tools/equipment including automobiles, power tools, hand tools, hvac systems, fans and filters, dehumidifiers, power edger's, power mowers, irrigation system, blowers, aerators, power sprayers, atomizer and backpack sprayer, and other related equipment
· Maintains greenhouse irrigation systems, hvac systems, and septic systems for both indoor and outdoor cultivation
· Performs skilled interior building maintenance such as painting, carpentry, welding, and hvac repairs
· Assists in gathering project information for facility expansion and improvement projects
· Monitors work in progress for compliance with company policies; and, ensures strict adherence to state and federal health and safety standards
· Reports upcoming services or routine maintenance jobs to management to ensure budgetary resources are obtained
· Necessary skills include mechanical expertise in the repair and preventative maintenance of equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, plumbing, motors, pumps, automotive & small engines. This is a "hands on ...roll up your sleeves" position.
· Maintains facility vendor contracts, and service agreements to ensure all activities are compliant with agreed upon terms
· Provides regular reporting to Site Management on facility issues, actions, and plans
· Ensures all required and necessary training protocols are up to date

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for the day to day and long-term strategic buying. This is newly created position due to aggressive growth. VB Chesaning LLC, d/b/a High Life Farms, LLC expansion makes our Purchasing needs dynamic. Fostering working relationship with vendors and fellow employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for controlling the company inventory, making sure that the inventory level is reviewed periodically and that the levels meet our company supply needs
- Developing the organization's procurement rules and regulations
- Establishing guidelines on safety stock, reorder point, and quoting.
- Act as the buyer of durable assets for automation, scaling, and other functions
- Assist accounting and planning with capital expenditure approval processes when needed
- Establishing guidelines and evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support, and contracts of components
- Negotiate pricing for raw materials, researching and tracking raw materials. Update all pricing and reporting pricing changes as requested/yearly.
- Monitor the company inventory for turnover

Job Summary:
The accountant will support the financial accounting area of High Life Farms, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales reconciliations and verification of data in various system.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review current sales orders from sales team, prepares sales invoice, and coordinated with inventory fulfillment
- Processes payments from customers on a daily basis and provides management with report on any discrepancies.
- File all appropriate backup support.
- Prepare accounts receivable reports and provides to management.
- Balance sales invoices entered in accounting software to METRC system reports daily.
- Balance sales invoices to sales ordering software for verification and advise management of any discrepancies
- Prepares Form 8300 for submission to the IRS as required by Federal regulations.
- Matches purchase orders/receiving tickets/invoices and enters into accounting software.
- Mail checks to vendors and file backup documentation.
- Work with Inventory Controller in ensuring backup support for purchases is entered.
- Prepare bank reports as required by bank
- Prepare vendor reports as required by partner relationship agreements.
- Handle multiple companies.
- Assist in month end close.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Harvest Team Member – Indoor and Greenhouse
Job Summary:
As a Harvest Team Member, you will be responsible for processing and manicuring our cannabis products. Be a part of harvesting the plants, cleaning flower rooms and moving new plants into the prepped room. Harvest Team Members will also de-buck and clear plants from the dry room(s).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hand trim and separate unusable product from flower and separate pre-roll material
- Aim to trim 1.5 lbs. of finished flower in a day
- Assist with cleaning the workspaces at the end of each day
- Complete harvesting activities which include removing plants from trellis and pots; de-leaf the plants; hang and run plants through each step of harvest.
- Clear dried plants to be trimmed
- Clean flower rooms of all trash, dirt and debris, sanitize flower rooms following harvest, and dry rooms following room tear downs
- Assist maintaining quality standards and production goals
- Adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are trimming; adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality
- Support management in other related duties, as required
