This position requires individuals who have a high level of attention to detail, enjoy working with customers, and can provide quality customer service in a medical atmosphere both in-store and during deliveries. The dispensary sales associate must maintain compliance with the Department of Health regulations under the Compassionate Care Act. The dispensary sales associates will also be expected to work with a ‘patient first' mentality and assist the pharmacist with dispensary operations. Dispensary sales associates are responsible for dispensing medical marijuana products and assisting with patient counseling under the direct supervision of the pharmacist on staff.

What you will do:

The Sales Associate will confidently assume responsibility for all activities at the store in the absence of the assistant manager or store manager, as the role will often work alone, in a relaxing, slow-paced environment. We are looking for Full Time - Sales Associates to join the High Profile dispensary team, who can help guide customers through the process of understanding, selecting, and acquiring products that fit their needs, while providing world class customer service.

In this role you will….
- Greet customers upon arrival and perform initial check-in by checking required ID's.
- Assist new customers with questions and state required forms; update customer information in point of sale (POS) system.
- Ensure the presence of the waiting room, and sales floor is well maintained and stocked during down time.
- Educate customers on cannabis properties and selection of proper genetics according to their desired effect, relief for patients' aliments, or per request.
- Fill online orders in a quick and efficient manner; greet and checkout curbside customers ensuring compliance with state regulations.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner; escalate to management when needed.
- Maintain product knowledge and keep up on current cannabis trends.
- Accurately use and maintain Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Comply with company cash handling policies and perform daily cash management responsibilities and compliance reporting per company policy.
- Assist with intake of product, inventory counts and additional audits on a regular basis.
- Daily compliance with dispensary policies, including but not limited to the following: state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, inventory tracking, dress code, and work schedules.

Skills and experience you have...
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer and information technology skills.
- Previous experience as a Budtender preferred but not required.
- Previous experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system preferred but not required.
- Working Cannabis product knowledge (flower, edibles, vape cartridges, topical lotions, tinctures, rso, etc.).

A Day in the Life of a Sales Associate
You start your day by placing your personal belongings in a locker, putting on on your ID badge. You ready yourself to go on stage. You punch your timecard and report to the Manager on duty to receive your assignment for the day. If you are on an opening shift, you will check out your cash till from the Retail Manager and confirm your inventory with the Inventory team. You ensure your station is tidy and ready to serve guests. You will then participate in a brief morning meeting to learn about the day's special considerations.
Once the store opens, you will provide seamlessly welcoming and helpful service to every guest who enters the store. Position Overview: Under general supervision, Sales Associates provide guidance and education to each patient with medical marijuana needs. - Ensures all intake forms and other paperwork is properly completed and filed correctly, then enters all appropriate information in ADILAS for future reference.
- Confirms patient purchase limits prior to admission intothe consultation area and informs the appropriate pharmacist of such limits.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Care by promoting and maintaining positive customer relations.
- Respond to calls or emails from customers requesting product, training, and general information.
- Management of patient records through the use of an MMJ database.

Position Summary:

- Maintain up to date knowledge of both marihuana and non-marihuana product offerings, trends, and availability
- Keep up to date of applicable Michigan laws and regulations regarding both Medical and Adult Use Marihuana activities
- Upsell/cross-sell across store offerings for Adult Use customers
- Provide relevant guidance and educational materials/resources to customers
- Maintain awareness of patient input and suggest changes to improve service or product.
- Meets or exceeds all personal goals to positively contribute to the team and the store.
- Accurately ring and package sales and use the POS correctly.
- Cash handling

Position Summary:
The individual in this position will be responsible for the day to day operations of the store to include greeting customers, upsell/cross-selling of store offerings, leading the novice and experienced cannabis users through their journey with our products, ringing up of orders and maintaining appearance and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer service
- Greet and welcome customers and provide brief explanation of Rair experience as needed
- Manage and communicate flow of customers with fellow employees and management
- Provide swift and thorough solutions for customers any time a service experience doesn't go as planned, involving onsite Management as necessary.
- Record and relay recurring customer feedback and insights to internal teams in order to constantly improve the customer experience.
Sales
- Maintain up to date knowledge of both marihuana and non-marihuana product offerings, trends, and availability
- Keep up to date of applicable Michigan laws and regulations regarding both Medical and Adult Use Marihuana activities
- Upsell/cross-sell across store offerings for Adult Use customers
- Provide relevant guidance and educational materials/resources to customers
- Maintain awareness of patient input and suggest changes to improve service or product.
- Meets or exceeds all personal goals to positively contribute to the team and the store.
- Accurately ring and package sales and use the POS correctly.
- Cash handling**
Organizational Needs
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of Provisioning Center, inclusive of nightly cleaning duties
- Document appropriate customer information in accordance to state and local regulations
- Assists in the preparation and completion of accurate physical inventory as assigned.
- Assists with non-sell tasks as assigned by Management and as part of the regular daily responsibilities.
- Arrives to work on time and consistently follows the Rair personal appearance guidelines.

Experience and Education:
- 2 years retail experience preferred.
- High school education or equivalent required.
- Minimum 21 years of age.

SALES ASSOCIATE
Welcome each client into Harborside creating an environment where clients feel truly cared for, valued and respected. Conduct new client orientation and registration. Act as a resource to assist clients with question, concerns, special needs and activism activities. Assist each client with outstanding service at point of sale. Assess the needs of each client, provide appropriate product knowledge and accurately record all transactions in the POS. Maintaining an efficient and upbeat work pace. Provide exceptional service in all interactions. Understand, embrace and embody the mission of Harborside.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: (This may not include all of the duties assigned.)
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Provide exceptional service and product knowledge
- Record transactions accurately in the POS, use appropriate log in, and ensure the accuracy of assigned till
- Escalate client issues to Supervisors when appropriate
- Maintain a positive, caring attitude, and treat clients/co-workers with respect and sensitivity
- Assist clients with special needs
- Communicate with other departments as necessary
- Listen and respond to client and coworker needs/requests appropriately and timely
- Maintain neatness, cleanliness and organization of the department
- Maintains discretionary practices with all vendors and contractor information; tactful with all sensitive business information
- Follow and integrate Harborside policies and procedures into all on-the-job interactions, tasks, and behaviors
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist to maintain and ensure departmental equipment is functioning and in good working order
- Attend required meetings and participate in team and professional development activities
- Fill in when short-staffed
- Provide timely and appropriate feedback to Supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors
