DELIVERY DRIVER ASSOCIATE-Temporary
Collect, route, and deliver customer web and phone orders with exemplary customer service from order placement through delivery. Ensure the quality, timeliness, and excellence of service for each delivery. Ensure that all delivery transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently. Be responsible for the physical movement of delivered products, cash handling and merchant processing. Ensure the logical tracking and recording of that movement. Perform all tasks with the goal of positioning Harborside as the industry standard for compassionate, professional, efficient customer delivery. Provide exceptional service in all interactions. Understand, embrace, and embody the mission of Harborside.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serve customers by understanding the product, delivering the product in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all Title 6 regulations.
- Adhere to routing/schedule guidelines and parameters to deliver according to schedule; only stopping for breaks, meal period breaks, and vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain accurate manifest and delivery log.
- Ensure accurate information is maintained in delivery device, i.e., ID scanner and delivery camera.
- Address and resolve customer complaints; escalate service issues in an expedient manner.
- Build customer loyalty through customer-centric, focused, and positive interactions
- Identify business opportunities through analysis of existing customer orders.
- Relay customer needs to supervisor; recommend changes and new products to best meet customer needs.
- Take and place orders for current and new customers according to company guidelines.
- Communicate information to customers about special pricing, referral program, recognition program and all information requested by Operations Manager.
- Obtain payment for product by accepting cash or debit cards.
- Maintain inventory updates with main office, restocking, reconciliation and analysis following Harborside policies and procedures.
- Maintain delivery, vehicle, product inventory and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments, recording tracking information, completing driver tracking, expenses and timesheets as required.
- Review and maintains company licenses and permits, customer paperwork to ensure legal compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare delivery vehicle for operation by inspecting general condition by checking the vehicle for damage.
- Adheres to the standards of the road by safely operating the vehicle and complying with state and local driving rules and regulations. Uses Harborside communication equipment (GPS, company phone, Bluetooth) for communication with main office and customers in a safe manner.
- Maintain a valid CDL, a copy of Retail Cannabis License, and Licensee badge.
- Prepare delivery vehicle by loading customer orders, securing items, and cross-checking paperwork.
- Enhance company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Participate in trainings or meetings to update job and organizational knowledge.
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are accurately performed

INVENTORY TECHNICIAN
This role will support the inventory and compliance areas for the cultivation and distribution operations by; performing inventory counts and updating tracking software. Responsible for inventory counts and ensuring that the company’s tracking systems are updated daily.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily physical product inventory counts in propagation and flowering greenhouse and distribution warehouse.
- Inventory clones and accurately updates data in tracking software daily.
- Cycle count/audit plant movement in veg, clone, and flowering; updates system with current stage and locations to provide accurate data to upper management.
- Perform final crop count before harvest to ensure harvest numbers are accurate in tracking software.
- Check bucket assigned for plant tags to be destroyed; track and notify the manager of plant waste and destruction to ensure tracking software has accurate reporting numbers.
- Check greenhouse clipboards for plants removed from rows and update system accordingly.
- Apply lot tracking labels to plant to be able to track plants from seed to sale.
- Weights packages and accurately enter information into tracking software to ensure on-hand inventory reflects accurate information.
- Reconciles tracking software with physical inventory weekly, or as needed, and provides reporting to the executive and management.
- Gathers and packages different samples for quality control testing, as well as preparing batches for state compliance testing, including proper documentation and transfers.
- Accurately fulfill orders according to our SOP practices:
- Pulling the proper packages from inventory.
- Quality checking each package while verifying the weight and information connected to each package, physically and in software system.
- Properly intakes material transfers and correctly manifests each package out of tracking software.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies throughout the work shift to make certain department is clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.
- Other duties as
- Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department as needed and/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to, helping grow staff with small tasks, cleaning and/or moving supplies and equipment and/or assisting the packaging department or working at other locations as needed.

IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN
The Cultivation Irrigator is responsible for watering of the cultivation production. Ensuring plants are adequately watered and fed is the most important aspect of this role. The irrigator must be familiar with watering processes (PROVA and/or Dosatron), light deprivation, and greenhouse growth. The incumbent may perform all tasks of the grow process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance of watering needs of all stages of the plant.
- Monitors watering needs and coordinating watering timeline with the manager and/or grower.
- Mixes nutrients for the day as directed by cultivation manager and/or grower.
- Physically walks among the pots to identify dry pots; responsible for tagging, watering, removing and placing back irrigation stakes.
- Daily measuring, tracking, and collecting of PH/EC, by updating daily log of nutrient reading sheet, to ensure PH/EC are at adequate levels for optimal growth.
- Checks for flagged plants and assist in identifying any potential issues with cultivation irrigation lines.
- Assists in all tasks of the grow process once the irrigation essential duties are completed:
- Clone, clean/sanitize pots, fill pots with soil and transplant plants at different growth stages to prepared them for the flowering stage.

- Weights waste by specific bench and/or strain, dumps waste into red waste barrels, and updates waste tracking sheet.
- Harvests product; defoliates, hangs and organizes product by strain and batch.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies and products throughout the work shift to make certain department is clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

INVENTORY TECHNICIAN
This role will support the inventory and compliance areas for the cultivation and distribution operations by; performing inventory counts and updating tracking software. Responsible for inventory counts and ensuring that the company’s tracking systems are updated daily.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily physical product inventory counts in propagation and flowering greenhouse and distribution warehouse.
- Inventory clones and accurately updates data in tracking software daily.
- Cycle count/audit plant movement in veg, clone, and flowering; updates system with current stage and locations to provide accurate data to upper management.
- Perform final crop count before harvest to ensure harvest numbers are accurate in tracking software.
- Check bucket assigned for plant tags to be destroyed; track and notify the manager of plant waste and destruction to ensure tracking software has accurate reporting numbers.
- Check greenhouse clipboards for plants removed from rows and update system accordingly.
- Apply lot tracking labels to plant to be able to track plants from seed to sale.
- Weights packages and accurately enter information into tracking software to ensure on-hand inventory reflects accurate information.
- Reconciles tracking software with physical inventory weekly, or as needed, and provides reporting to the executive and management.
- Gathers and packages different samples for quality control testing, as well as preparing batches for state compliance testing, including proper documentation and transfers.
- Accurately fulfill orders according to our SOP practices:
- Pulling the proper packages from inventory.
- Quality checking each package while verifying the weight and information connected to each package, physically and in software system.
- Properly intakes material transfers and correctly manifests each package out of tracking software.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies throughout the work shift to make certain department is clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN
The Cultivation Irrigator is responsible for watering of the cultivation production. Ensuring plants are adequately watered and fed is the most important aspect of this role. The irrigator must be familiar with watering processes (PROVA and/or Dosatron), light deprivation, and greenhouse growth. The incumbent may perform all tasks of the grow process.

- Mixes nutrients for the day as directed by cultivation manager and/or grower.

Lead the operations of the Event Room, Including set-up, Maintenance, and all physical changes for activities in the Event Room space. Ensure quality of service and positive customer exchanges. CULTIVATION TECHNICIAN
The Cultivation Technician responsible for growing, cloning and manicuring cannabis in preparation for processing and sale. Must maintain high quality of finished product while paying close attention to detail during the cultivation process. Ensuring quality cannabis leaves the cultivation facility. The cultivator will perform all tasks in the grow process which include mother plant maintenance, tissue culture, cloning, transplanting, nutrients management, water management, pest and disease control, and plant transport from vegetation to flowering.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)
- Perform all tasks in the light deprivation greenhouse perpetual harvest grow:
- Maintain and follow the cultivation department policies and procedures
- Mother plant maintenance, tissue culture, cloning, transplanting, nutrients and pH management, water management, positive airflow, temperature and humidity control, pest and disease control, plant transfer from veg to flowering.
- Manage plant scheduling and organization to precisely project all plant needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to produce the best results for maximum plant yield.
- Cataloguing and maintaining organization of plants from seed-to-harvest using our seed-to-sale system management program.
- Knowledge of pest and disease control and management.
- Maintain and follow the cultivation department policies and procedures
- Maintain and follow the cultivation department policies and procedures.
- Wash and sanitize all equipment. Scout all equipment, ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease.
- Demonstrate accurately and thoroughly in a timely manner to meet production standards and goals while consistently producing quality product. Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity.
- Uphold quality of finished product through employing attention to detail while manicuring flower.
- Breakdown flowers off stem and stalk of plant to separate unusable waste from useable product; employee must track the amount of unusable waste for each batch.
- After breakdown of plant, employee must identify and separate fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves on the flower.
- Account for each by-product type processed off the flower; adding stems and fan leaves separately to “waste” for proper tracking and disposal by managers and trim/sugar leaves to “useable by-product” (trim).
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
- Must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of cannabis they are cultivating; adjusting techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.
- Employee must show up on time for their scheduled shift ready to work.
- Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the state while processing patient medicine.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cultivation facility while performing job duties Cultivation staff is responsible for clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every shift.

VP OF OPERATIONS
The VP of Production directs, manages, participates, and provides support to the design, activities, and operations of the cultivation and production division of the organization, including its cannabis cultivation, harvest, drying, curing, processing, packaging and fulfillment operations. The VP of Production will combine analytical and technical knowledge, business skills and practical experience to grow business and achieve aggressive revenue goals. The VP of Production participates in the ongoing strategic planning and vision for the company and its cultivation and production facilities and teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees all aspects of farm operations and participates with the Executive team in critical development decisions including production and harvest plans, budgets, and labor management issues.
- In conjunction with the cultivation team, develops and designs cultivation operations within allocated resources: budget, staffing and timeliness.
- Executes on production plans and schedules, ensuring the production goals are met, that cultivation greenhouses are maintained in accordance with best-in-practice standards, and that facilities are turned around (cleaned and sanitized) efficiently.
- Ensures that integrated pest management and irrigation procedures are executed and updated in accordance with Harborside standards; ensures that environmental controls are maintained at appropriate settings to account for the life-cycle of the plants.
- Sources best-of-class equipment, materials and procedures within allocated budget and develops workflow and greenhouse layout to minimize labor requirements and maximize crop yield.
- In conjunction with the onsite management team, develops standard operating procedures, manages, and coordinates operations including daily activities, equipment acquisition, maintenance, training schedules, personnel, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Ensures timely and efficient harvests and the adherence to harvest schedules.
- Overseas all of Harborside’s post-harvest operations including drying, curing, bucking, trimming, and packaging functions; establishes and assigns KPIs for the above-referenced functions, and holds team members for performance against those standards.
- Communicates values, strategies, and objectives; assign accountabilities; plans, monitors, and appraises job results; develops incentives, a climate for offering information and opinions, and provides educational opportunities to the management team.
- Works to foster interdepartmental collaboration between the cultivation and production teams in Salinas with Harborside’s retail, marketing and outside sales teams, furthering strengthening Harborside as a leading vertically integrated player in the cannabis industry.
- Ensure labor cost objectives are met, improve productivity, efficiency and reduce labor cost.
- Interacts regularly with the executive team and individual department heads to ensure that company’s operations priorities are aligned with total company direction.
- Continually investigates and introduces process improvement measures and presents suggestions to CEO for consideration.
- Participates in vendor negotiations to ensure product relevance and cost-efficiency.
- Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the farm operation.

Physical Requirements

Education and Experience Required:

CULTIVATION TECHNICIAN
The Cultivation Technician is responsible for maintaining the high quality of lived and harvested product while paying close attention to detail during the cultivation process. Ensuring quality cannabis leaves the cultivation facility is the most important aspect of this role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)
Clone, clean/sanitize pots, fill pots with soil and transplant plants at different growth stages to prepare them for the flowering stage.
Top, defoliate, trellis and prune plants based on instructions provided by management.
Move plants from the vegetation to stage into designated flowering bays, space the pots according to the number of pots per bench, ensure irrigation stakes and emitters are placed correctly to ensure all plants are receiving adequate amounts of water.
Weighs waste by specific bench and/or strain, dumps waste into red waste barrels, and updates the waste tracking sheet.
Harvests product; defoliated, hangs and organizes product by strain and batch.
Periodically moves/rotates barrels and/or boxes to keep a consistent drying/curing process.
Manually and/or by cart transport waste stems to the dumping area.
Clear spots and waste out of the greenhouse to prepare for new planting.
Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies and products throughout the work shift to make certain departments clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

The role of a packaging technician is to take various materials and package and label them into a final product form quickly and efficiently. Incumbent is required to have manual dexterity and accuracy and speed in weighing, measuring and counting the products.

INVENTORY CONTROL TECHNICIAN
This role will support the inventory and compliance areas for the cultivation and distribution operations by; performing inventory counts and updating tracking software. Responsible for inventory counts and ensuring that the company’s tracking systems are updated daily.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all-inclusive)
Perform daily physical product inventory counts in propagation and flowering greenhouse and distribution warehouse.
Inventory clones and updates data in tracking software daily.
Cycle count/audit plant movement in veg, clone, and flowering; updates system with current stage and locations to provide accurate data to upper management.
Perform final counts crop count before harvest to ensure harvest numbers are accurate in tracking software.
Check bucket for plant tags to be destroyed; track and notify the manager of plant waste and destruction to ensure tracking software has accurate reporting numbers.
Check clipboards for plants removed from rows and update system accordingly
Apply lot tracking labels to plant to be able to track plants from seed to sale.
Weights packages and accurately enter information into tracking software to ensure on-hand inventory reflects accurate information.
Reconciles tracking software with physical inventory weekly, or as needed, and provides reporting to the executive and management.
Gathers and packages different samples for quality control testing, as well as preparing batches for state compliance testing.
Accurately fulfill orders according to our SOP practices:
Pulling the proper packages from inventory.
Quality checking each package and verifying the weight of each package.
Properly manifests each package out of tracking software.
Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies throughout the work shift to make certain department is clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

CULTIVATION TECHNICIAN
Responsible for maintaining the high quality of lived and harvested product while paying close attention to detail during the cultivation process. Ensuring quality cannabis leaves the cultivation facility is the most important aspect of this role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)
- Clone, clean/sanitize pots, fill pots with soil and transplant plants at different growth stages to prepared them for the flowering stage.
- Top, defoliate, trellis and prune plants based on instructions provided by management.
- Move plants from the vegetation to stage into designated flowering bays, spaces the pots according to the number of pots per bench, ensures irrigation stakes and emitters are placed correctly to ensure all plants are receiving adequate amounts of water.
- Weights waste by specific bench and/or strain, dumps waste into red waste barrels, and updates waste tracking sheet.
- Harvests product; defoliates, hangs and organizes product by strain and batch.
- Periodically moves/rotates barrels and/or boxes to keep a consistent drying/curing process.
- Manually and/or by cart transport waste stems to dumping area.
- Clear s pots and waste out of greenhouse to prepare for new planting.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies and products throughout the work shift to make certain department is clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

Incumbent is responsible for tracking batches including the final finished product, the usable and unusable by-product and demonstrates proficiency, organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

- May perform a variety of functions to prepare the plant for sale such as; defoliation,trim, buck, packaging, drying and curing.
- Identify and separate fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves on the flower an accurately track waste from finished product.
- Must be adaptable to various strains, styles and types of cannabis which are trimmed; adjusting techniques to maintain a fast but steady pace and quality.
- Manicure top flower by using hand trimming scissors to keep the integrity of the plant and protect quality.
- Load trimming machine with product and distribute it evenly to avoid any disturbance to the flower to ensure maximum end-product.
- Receives harvest product; hangs and organizes product by strain batch in drying/curing area to arrange future processing work flow.
- Periodically moves/rotates barrels and/or boxes to keep a consistent drying/curing process.
- Manually and/or by cart transport waste stems to dumping area.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies and products throughout the work shift to make certain department is clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

HARVEST TECHNICIANS
Responsible for harvesting plants, preparing and hanging for dry/cure area, and weighing of plants. Responsible for tracking harvest waste (i.e. leaves, stems, etc.) and finished material. Hanging harvests plants on racks for drying and curing. Ensuring bay area is cleaned out and ready for the next plant move. The Harvest technicians receive new plants in the greenhouse and places them in designated areas, as identified by the Harvest and Cultivation Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)
- Harvest plants as identified by the Harvest Manager.
- Hang harvested plants on drying racks.
- Remove fan leaves from plants.
- Account and track plant waste from usable material.
- Keep harvested plants organized by batch and strain.
- Clear pots and plant waste out of green house in a timely fashion.
- Clean and sanitize greenhouse to prepare it for the next move of new production.
- Receive new plants in greenhouse and put in areas designated by the Harvest Manager.
- Harvest crew must be sure all plant waste and non-compostable bins are emptied and wore area areas are clean at the end of each day.
- Receives harvest product; hangs and organizes product by strain batch in drying/curing area to arrange future bucking work flow.
- Periodically moves/rotates barrels and/or boxes to keep a consistent drying/curing process.
- Manually and/or by cart transport waste stems to dumping area.
- Report any potential issues with harvesting work flow to the Harvest Manager.

ABOUT US
The Sales Director drives the sale and distribution of our branded cannabis products throughout the state of California. Unique opportunity for a motivated, energetic and experienced sales professional to have a significant impact on the development of our existing brands Key and Harborside Farms, and to collaborate with marketing department to develop new brands addressing various segments on the market. This position will work closely with our production team in Salinas, CA, which produces greenhouse cannabis at scale from a 4-acre production campus, and our retail teams to further drive our vertical integration.
Harborside Farms is located in Salinas, California, and is vertically integrated with the iconic Harborside dispensaries in Oakland and San Jose. FLRish Retail Management & Security Services LLC provides management services to the Harborside family of companies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)
- Drive sales of our branded products throughout California an oversees all sales activities to ensure the success of the Company.
- Set brand and sales and marketing strategy to fit with company brand vision.
- Recruit, Manage, train, and retain a high performing team of sales associates working in various geographic regions throughout the state.
- Work closely with our production team in Salinas on product and selection, strain selection, production schedules, pricing, and distribution strategies.
- Leads successful implementation of advertising and promotional activities in collaboration with marketing team.
- Maintaining positive relations with current wholesale clients and developing relationships with new potential clients, including cold calling to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities; identifying decision makers within client’s organizations to work directly with and set up meetings with; plan presentations and approaches for these meetings.
- Ensure that Harborside dispensary orders are communicated to production staff; work closely with retail and marketing teams on product selection, shelf space and wall space displays, promotions, hot deals, and other initiatives aimed shelf space capture by our brands in our stores.
- Utilize existing client database and CRM and look for ways to streamline and efficiently utilize data to better meet client needs and increase effectiveness

- Partner with Distribution manager to access samples lab test results to develop a sales strategy plan.
- Discover and learn about the current medical and adult use markets for cannabis in California
- Adapt and innovate as the California cannabis market changes
- Development of product categories and pricing for product categories from products coming from Harborside farms, including but not limited to: Trimmed Flowers, Trim, Full Plant Material Dry, Full Plant Frozen, Plants (clones, teen plants, and flower ready plants)
- Attend industry functions, events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and trends.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to increased sales and profitability.
