The primary role of this individual is to package our brand of flower for sale into the retail and wholesale market in accordance with determined quotas. Job Duties
- Manage all retail employees.

Keep retail employees current on all training.
- Keep current the retail standard operating procedures.
- Maintain the Company's mission for guest experience and hospitality.
- Control and confirm compliance and security of all cannabis inventory.
- Keep current all compliance with Metrc and the Cannabis Control Commission.
- Assist Human Resources with maintaining the company's diversity policy.
- Write and manage the employee schedule including making updates in real time in fluctuations
- Provide bi-annual performance reviews for every employee.
- Assist with the purchase and receipt cannabis and cannabis products.
- Manage the point of sale software and equipment.

Manage the handling, storage, and deposit of cash.
- Manage the communications on the retail premises.

Order and control the inventory of non-cannabis accessories and merchandise.
- Provide reports to Bud's Leadership Team.

In Depth
The Retail General Manager oversees all management of the Bud's Goods & Provisions retail establishment including sales, employees, compliance, and guest hospitality. This position must be well versed in Metrc. The Retail Manager updates and audits the Point of Sale backroom, performs routine and randomized audits of both cannabis and non-cannabis products and oversees all cash management both physically and virtually. The Retail General Manager is assisted by the Assistant Retail General Managers to provide consistent management across all shifts. The Retail General Manager is supported by the Inventory Manager and the VP of Operations.
The Retail General Manager assists with interviewing of all new employees. The Retail General Manager confirms with the Human Resources Manager that all employee paperwork is current. The Retail General Manager is responsible for the compliance of every employee, which includes visible agent registration badges for every employee. The Retail General Manager is responsible for the scheduling of all employees and managing the time-off requests. The Retail General Manager understands the importance of professional boundaries with coworkers and sets the example of the company values and culture. The Retail General Manager upholds the trust each employee has with the company, and always meets employees more than halfway. The Retail General Manager must always be available to address employee concerns and to protect the safety of all employees. This position ensures open communication between the employees and the Company by following our Open-Door Policy.
The Retail General Manager oversees the purchasing of the cannabis goods for the retail in coordination with the Inventory Specialist and the Leadership team, and oversees the confirmation of the weights/quantities with the accompanying transfer manifests as cannabis product arrives on the premises from another cannabis license. This position manages and accounts for the invoice balances as well as payments to vendors. The Retail General Manager is responsible for keeping the premises in total compliance with regards to all cannabis inventory weights/quantities, sales data reporting, waste reporting, as well as security and surveillance. This position is also responsible for the ordering and inventory management of all non-cannabis inventory such as accessories and merchandise.
The Retail General Manager is responsible for all the cash on the premises. This position confirms all cash deposited to the safe is consistent with the deposit reports. This position when on duty confirms all the cash that is collected with each point of sale station is consistent with the sales reports. The Retail General Manager is responsible for overseeing the deposit of all cash from our safe to our banking institution.
The Retail General Manager executes the Company's mission to provide thoughtful hospitality to our guests. The Retail General Manager develops goals with the Company to maintain this thoughtful hospitality and executes those goals with the team. The Retail General Manager, along with the Leadership Team and the Human Resources Manager, is responsible for maintaining the Diversity Plan goals set forth by the Company. The Retail General Manager is comfortable engaging in high level conversations but doesn't lose site of the granular details of day to day operations.
