As legalization of recreational cannabis spreads across the United States, so does a newfound cannabis lifestyle. But even though cannabis culture has begun to define itself, there are still some gray areas, including around where it is actually legal to consume cannabis.
As the cannabis tourism industry established itself, people were traveling to legal recreational states only to find that consuming cannabis was not possible in their lodging accommodations like hotels and Airbnb’s. Preparing travel accommodations is already stressful enough, even without smoking restrictions. That’s where we come in.
In 2019, our founder and his executive team started building a solution where cannabis lovers could always be sure that their lifestyle was supported, with no anxiety involved. As a real estate mogul and an avid cannabis user himself, he created a 420 friendly co-lodging solution.
As the brand grew, we realized that cannabis lodging is an opportunity for one of a kind adventures rather than just a place to stay. We have evolved into a company that offers “elevated” experiences in tandem with our lodging; our guests can enjoy dispensary tours, cannabis classes and activities, visits from a personal chef, complimentary munchies, and more.
We are currently expanding to offer lodging in all 19 recreational states, as well as in medically legal states for guests with a valid medical ID card. The future we work for has accessible, comfortable lodging for cannabis users anywhere in America, and we promise to give you an experience you will never forget.
Our Mission
Our goal at 420 Stays is to provide cannabis lovers with a comfortable way to experience cannabis in unique stays with one-of-a-kind amenities. From corporate retreats to short term stays, we deliver an experience that you will never forget.
We're focused on building a customer-first culture, fueled by the best travel experiences for all our members at every point in their journey. Grow with us, as we continue our path to deliver innovative solutions and take charge of change. The adventure is only beginning. We're on a mission to help people around the world travel better and experience more. Our team members bring world-class skills to the table to create extraordinary memories for our partners and members.
Our travel department is searching for a friendly and professional canna travel agent to join our team. As our canna travel agent, you should be passionate about seeing the world and helping others do the same. This role involves planning holidays, suggesting travel destinations, maintaining client files, and managing large-scale events.
In this position, your ultimate goal will be to keep our clients satisfied and loyal for future services. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with in-depth knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations. To succeed in this role, you should also possess outstanding negotiation and sales skills.

Company Overview:
CannaSOS is a social network for the cannabis industry. CannaSOS is helping unite the cannabis community under one roof by providing a unique platform made up of multiple different modules that help users stay in touch with the cannabis industry. CannaSOS does not have any office locations as we emphasize a virtual terminal where everyone works from home (or any location around the world). CannaSOS has an auditorium of 390,000+ members, over 5 million yearly users, 1,600+ businesses, 9,260+ strains, and much more!
At CannaSOS, you’ll have the freedom to flex your intellect and creativity, apply your skills, experience, and entrepreneurial spirit to a wide variety of challenges that are faced by the cannabis industry.
Keep in mind, this role is concerning selling advertising space on our site to different businesses in the industry. Not Cannabis!
PAY STRUCTURE:
The sales agent will be operating on a commission basis for the first 3 months (probationary period). After this period, we will sign a new contract with discussions around a base salary in addition to the commission. All commissions begin at 15% and up to 20%. The larger the deal, the larger the commission percentage. We expect you to be making around 120-150 calls per week, which will provide you with a sales commission of around $5,000-$11,000 per month. The more calls/emails made, the more deals closed. After the probationary period, you will be offered a new contract with a fixed compensation ranging based on your performance; but it will nonetheless be fair and will offer a stable financial foundation.
WHAT WE NEED:
We are seeking an independent sales agent to join our team. This individual would be “home-based” and responsible for generating sales through outbound calling and emailing efforts. Although this might be obvious, we are looking for true-believers, not salespeople who will work with us in order to only make money. We are looking for people who love/will love the product they are helping promote, love the company, love the customers, love the brand, and want to make a large and meaningful impact in the company and the cannabis industry. If you are all of that, you will receive great rewards!
JOB DUTIES:
· Call new and existing customer base, build relationships and generate sales growth.
· Maintain product knowledge.
· Coordinate emerging administrative tasks.
· Sell advertising space on CannaSOS, sell CannaSOS memberships, sponsored articles, as well as sell and consult with customers on custom orders.
· Survey the industry and target specific accounts by utilizing published regulatory databases, trade journals/magazines, and other media outlets.
· Build relationships with cannabis growers, processors, and dispensaries
· Love your job, be competitive and work with a passion so we can build something great!
The job description is representative of typical duties and responsibilities for the position and it is not all-inclusive. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the company to fluctuate with business needs. We are an equal opportunity employer. A background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment is extended.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years of B2B sales experience
- Excellent sales “Hunter” skills
- Experience selling advertising online is a bonus
- History of meeting and/or exceeding 6 figure quotas a must
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Strong time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in Excel / Word / Outlook
- Always follows up
- Not afraid to pick up the phone
- Ambitious, competitive, hungry, does not get discouraged easily
