Sponsorship Coordinator
SUMMARY OF PURPOSE:
The Sponsorship Coordinator will be an integral part of The CannaOne Nation team. The ideal candidate will have a passion to support the cannabis industry and a vision to be a nationally recognized source for cannabis education through CannaOne Expo Events by inspiring a “can-do” culture through corporate partnerships. The Sponsorship Coordinator will be developing, managing and growing major corporate sponsorships, and contributing to the growth and sustainability of CannaOne Nation Expo Events and Fundraising Events.
Your primary responsibilities:
Aggressively calling on prospects (marketing personnel) at vendor companies who may have interest in sponsoring content or advertising.
Networking with prospects to find other relevant contacts who may have interest in sponsorship/advertising opportunities.
Selling lead generation, sponsorship/brand awareness and event advertising options including: virtual expo booths, banner ads, e-news sponsorships, webinars, podcasts, custom content, etc.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with national-level partners that lead to sponsorships with renewals, partnership growth and sustained revenue sources for upcoming Virtual Expo and Fundraising Events.
Secure new national partnerships including official/title sponsors, CannaOne Expo partners, Fundraising partners and sponsors for The CannaOne Nation TV/Podcast show.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Generate revenue to support all CannaOne Nation sponsorship and campaign fundraising goals.
· Support national sponsorship sales effort: identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Manage all aspects of the client relationship, including client calls, proposal development, invoicing, fulfillment, activation, and timely recaps.
· Support national and global partnership program with Senior Director.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
MBA or BA degree and 3+ years related sponsorship/marketing sales experience. Must be a strategic and creative thinker astute in identifying client needs and matching internal resources, thus maximizing effectiveness of corporate partnership for both parties. Demonstrated success in communicating effectively with key clients and identifying client needs. Demonstrated success in effective sales, client management, and relationship management. Candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated, and express excellent verbal and written skills; capable of handling numerous projects simultaneously and able to prioritize, with keen attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with others involved in program development and program implementation. Work will be remote. Some travel may be required.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Exhibit integrity beyond reproach and build trusting relationships within and outside The CannaOne Nation. Detail-oriented, energetic team player driven to succeed. Experience working a full sales cycle (prospecting-close). Experience generating revenue. Exceptional presentation skills. Master at objection handling. Must have a strong command on technology use. Ability to concisely convey value proposition. Proficient with Microsoft Office, as well as database management systems. Responsive to management and constructive criticism. Able to strategize, plan, execute, and interact with tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
Environmental: Remote work 100% Base pay with primary pay being Commission based on sales performance.

This position assists with the production of the event after the event has been booked. Sales Agent – Virtual Booth Sales
The primary objectives for a Sales Agent are to aggressively sell virtual exhibit booth space, sponsorship, foster relationships with current customers and prospect/sell to new business in the Health and Beauty markets.
Responsibilities
· Maintain a database of current and prospective customers
· Sell virtual booth space and sponsorship via telephone, email communication and face-to-face meetings.
