The Patient Advisor a/k/a “PA” is the second point of contact in the dispensary.

Role
In this role, your main responsibility will be to assist patients in selecting appropriate medical cannabis products for their needs and are the product expert on duty at the store. Responsibilities

*Help all patients in accordance with Sanctuary’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives. *Follow established policies for sales and customer service to ensure patient satisfaction. *Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store. *Help patients make the right choices by knowing how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently and suggesting dosage starting points and upward titration for inexperienced patients. *Complete any work assigned during scheduled shift including: *Correct cash handling and discount application *Verification of proper paperwork, documentation and ID for patients *Accurate use and maintenance of the Point Of Sale (POS) system; Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the state's electronic verification system *Maintenance of hard copy files (when required) *Security measures and safety compliance *Maintenance of an organized and clean store *Management of visitor log *Maintenance of open communication with the management team and other coworkers *Reporting of employee issues or patient situations *Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including: daily activities, maintenance, and patient information for any reported issues and/or complaints.
Qualifications

*High School Diploma or equivalent. *Recent and relevant hospitality and/or retail experience required. *Excellent customer service skills. *Knowledge and adherence to the policies, procedures and goals of Sanctuary. *Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and the natural function of the endocannabinoid system in the human body. *Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences. *Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email. *Ability to work effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members and the general public. *Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.

Position Summary:
The Patient Advisor reports to a Provisioning Center Assistant Manager and is responsible for supporting the Provisioning Center’s operations including customer service, inventory, and facility cleanliness. The position is a key role for the company and is a critical component of the organization’s success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service and guidance to patients. Presents patients with a “menu” of currently available medical marijuana products, assists in the selection of products, provides advice based on the patient’s comments and medical Marijuana treatment plan.
- Assesses patient records at the counter terminal, confirms patient’s identity through visual confirmation of documents, and determines the patient’s eligibility for purchasing medical Marijuana based upon legal limits.
- Works collaboratively with other advisors to satisfy patient needs.
- Manages inventory within the provisioning center by handling incoming shipments, completing any accompanying paperwork, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Operates cash registers, performs data entry, inventory count, and updates patient records and profiles.
- Manages the patient procurement process according to company regulations.
- Provides patients and prospective patients with all printed information materials regarding medical Marijuana. Addresses questions regarding services and products available.
- Works with Provisioning Center leadership to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintains product in-stock and on shelves in accordance with company standards.
- Assist patients via phone to answer questions about products and orders.
- Ensures that the Provisioning Center maintains a clean appearance by sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 1-2 years in retail sales or hospitality with significant customer facing experience required
- Candidates who have held Michigan Caregiver cards for two years will be given preference
- Previous work history in the medical marijuana industry or significant exposure and knowledge of cannabis products and the endocannabinoid system is preferred
- Experience with computer and equipment operations for running an office/retail center required (POS systems, Word/Excel, and office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)
- Skill in accurate cash management and inventory control
- Effective communication in the English language
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business

JOB SUMMARY:
The Patient Advisor a/k/a “PA” is the second point of contact in the dispensary.
He or she will be mainly consulting with patients on a one to one basis. The PA will be responsible for maintaining knowledge on all varieties of medicine and be able to assist patients requiring information and recommendation on all items available.
The Patient Orientation Specialist a/k/a “PO” greets and registers patients, confirms status in program for patients, provides overview and orientation materials to patients.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIORNMENT:
- Work is performed in a busy medical cannabis dispensary.
- Will be in almost constant contact with patients and co-workers.
- Work can be stressful and may include dealing with difficult patients demands.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Having extensive knowledge of cannabis, and cannabis by products; as well as their application.
- Must be able to recommend different types of cannabis and products for different ailments
- Keeping display and register area clean and tidy
- Cash handling and running credit/debit cards
- Complete opening and closing checklist – items include, putting any sensitive display items away for the night, wiping down counters, taking out trash, keeping bathroom clean at all times
- Closing out register for balancing at the end of the night
- Greet and verify new patients.
- Provide information regarding the dispensary and services provided through the dispensary, Cannabis, and laws regarding Cannabis.
- Answer the phone, take messages, and direct calls to the proper person.
- Keep the waiting area clean and tidy.
- Maintain accurate online patient database – includes paperwork and data entry, as well as scanning, printing, and possibly faxing documents.
- Keep non-sales area of the main floor clean.
- All tasks otherwise assigned by Management.
REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work requires periods of prolonged sitting and standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a cash register, computer, telephone, calculator, etc. May require lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Role Description:
The Team member will represent CCBD in a professional manner, while ensuring patient confidentiality. Position Summary:
The Patient Advisor reports to a Provisioning Center Assistant Manager and is responsible for supporting the Provisioning Center’s operations including customer service, inventory, and facility cleanliness. The position is a key role for the company and is a critical component of the organization’s success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service and guidance to patients. Presents patients with a “menu” of currently available medical marijuana products, assists in the selection of products, provides advice based on the patient’s comments and medical Marijuana treatment plan.
- Assesses patient records at the counter terminal, confirms patient’s identity through visual confirmation of documents, and determines the patient’s eligibility for purchasing medical Marijuana based upon legal limits.
- Works collaboratively with other advisors to satisfy patient needs.
- Manages inventory within the provisioning center by handling incoming shipments, completing any accompanying paperwork, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Operates cash registers, performs data entry, inventory count, and updates patient records and profiles.
- Manages the patient procurement process according to company regulations.
- Provides patients and prospective patients with all printed information materials regarding medical Marijuana. Addresses questions regarding services and products available.
- Works with Provisioning Center leadership to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintains product in-stock and on shelves in accordance with company standards.
- Assist patients via phone to answer questions about products and orders.
- Ensures that the Provisioning Center maintains a clean appearance by sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 1-2 years in retail sales or hospitality with significant customer facing experience required
- Candidates who have held Michigan Caregiver cards for two years will be given preference
- Previous work history in the medical marijuana industry or significant exposure and knowledge of cannabis products and the endocannabinoid system is preferred
- Experience with computer and equipment operations for running an office/retail center required (POS systems, Word/Excel, and office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)
- Skill in accurate cash management and inventory control
- Effective communication in the English language
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business

- Provide input to patient and caregiver questions and provide a resource to assist in their therapeutic cannabis concerns
- Assist in the patient intake process, maintaining confidential patient paperwork and patient records
- Maintain private and confidential, sensitive patient information, must always be HIPPA compliant
- Receive, prepare and complete patient orders and sales utilizing point of sale inventory tracking and record keeping system
- Handling cash payments and entering transactions into dispensary POS system
- Assist in maintaining a stocked, clean and properly operational store
- Work in a team environment with close coordination of other patient care advisors
- Identify unique needs of each individual patient by demonstrating compassion, empathy and sensitivity
- Liaise between patients and Grow West management to continually improve the customer experience
- Ability to immediately address any customer conflict or complaint, inspiring long-term patient relationships and company loyalty
- Utilize Grow West MD, LLC record keeping system to maintain and manage patient records and inventory

Role
In this role, your main responsibility will be to assist patients in selecting appropriate medical cannabis products for their needs and are the product expert on duty at the store. Responsibilities

*Help all patients in accordance with Sanctuary’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives. *Follow established policies for sales and customer service to ensure patient satisfaction. *Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store. *Help patients make the right choices by knowing how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently and suggesting dosage starting points and upward titration for inexperienced patients. *Complete any work assigned during scheduled shift including: *Correct cash handling and discount application *Verification of proper paperwork, documentation and ID for patients *Accurate use and maintenance of the Point Of Sale (POS) system; Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the state's electronic verification system *Maintenance of hard copy files (when required) *Security measures and safety compliance *Maintenance of an organized and clean store *Management of visitor log *Maintenance of open communication with the management team and other coworkers *Reporting of employee issues or patient situations *Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including: daily activities, maintenance, and patient information for any reported issues and/or complaints.
Qualifications

Sales and retail skills are needed, as well as knowledge of cannabis science and products.Must be dependable and able to learn and adhere to all Maryland Medical Cannabis regulations and ethics standards for Dispensary Works.

Previous experience is desirable.First-time budtenders will need to demonstrate the interest and ability to learn the science and regulations. We offer benefits to our employees and a salary commensurate with experience.

JOB SUMMARY: ThePatient Advisor a/k/a “PA” is the second point of contact in the dispensary. He or she will be mainly consulting with patients on a one to one basis. The Patient Orientation Specialist a/k/a “PO” greets and registers patients, confirms status in program for patients, provides overview and orientation materials to patients.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIORNMENT: Work is performed in a busy medical cannabis dispensary. Will be in almost constant contact with patients and co-workers. Work can be stressful and may include dealing with difficult patients demands.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Having extensive knowledge of cannabis, and cannabis by products; as well as their application.
· Must be able to recommend different types of cannabis and products for different ailments
· Keeping display and register area clean and tidy
· Cash handling and running credit/debit cards
· Complete opening and closing checklist – items include, putting any sensitive display items away for the night, wiping down counters, taking out trash, keeping bathroom clean at all times
· Closing out register for balancing at the end of the night
· Greet and verify new patients.
· Provide information regarding the dispensary and services provided through the dispensary, Cannabis, and laws regarding Cannabis.
· Answer the phone, take messages, and direct calls to the proper person.
· Keep the waiting area clean and tidy.
· Maintain accurate online patient database – includes paperwork and data entry, as well as scanning, printing, and possibly faxing documents.
· Keep non-sales area of the main floor clean.
· All tasks otherwise assigned by Management.
REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work requires periods of prolonged sitting and standing, some bending, walking, stooping, and stretching. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a cash register, computer, telephone, calculator, etc. May require lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Accurately process payments from customers; issue receipts, refunds, credits, and provide customers cash change when necessary.
Weigh and record product quantities with precision and accuracy.
Establish or identify prices of goods and/or services; tabulate costs and/or promotional pricing using calculator, cash register, and/or optical price scanners.
Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate business for dispensary.
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.
Balance cash drawer by auditing cash at beginning and end of shift to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Manage oversight and chain-of-custody of all products within assigned workstation.
Clean and stock the sales floor.
Maintain compliance regarding the management of patient records and all materials containing patient personally identifiable information.
Adequately and professionally complete production shifts. This includes pre-packing marijuana, rolling pre-rolls, cleaning and maintaining the production area, correctly tag items for the sales floor, and work on future production projects.

Role Description:
The Team member will represent CCBD in a professional manner, while ensuring patient confidentiality. Establish or identify prices of goods and/or services; tabulate costs and/or promotional pricing using calculator, cash register, and/or optical price scanners.
Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate business for dispensary.
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.
Balance cash drawer by auditing cash at beginning and end of shift to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Manage oversight and chain-of-custody of all products within assigned workstation.
Clean and stock the sales floor and lobby.
Maintain compliance regarding the management of patient records and all materials containing patient personally identifiable information.
Adequately and professionally complete production shifts. This includes pre-packing marijuana, rolling pre-rolls, cleaning and maintaining the production area, correctly tag items for the sales floor, and work on future production projects.
Answer phones and direct patients to the right products and education.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous retail experience; cannabis sales experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS office products and POS (cashier) systems
- Proficiency handing cash register arithmetic and calculating weight conversions

Position Overview
The Patient Advisor performs the daily patient service, medical marijuana product advisement and education, and sales operations of the dispensary. Primary duties include providing detailed medical marijuana product information, customer service and sales assistance to dispensary patients and caregivers; completing sales transactions with patients and caregivers; maintaining a compliant sales environment through use of the state mandated point-of-sale software; and preventing diversion of medical marijuana by ensuring that purchased amounts do not exceed patients’ recommended limits. The Patient Advisor also manages the registration and flow of visitors to the dispensary by greeting patients, caregivers and visitors to ensure only approved persons gain access to the facility, and registers patients and caregivers into the state mandated electronic tracking system. Patient Advisors will be required to maintain a detailed knowledge of all medical marijuana products in order to educate and advise patients and caregivers on types, methods and effectiveness of medical marijuana products. Patient Advisors will work in tandem with Dispensary Pharmacists to coordinate and ensure optimal patient care. This position is classified as non-exempt. The Patient Advisor reports to the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager.
Position Requirements
- Pharmacy tech degree or degree in related field a plus;
- Must demonstrate empathy and a passion for serving patients in need;
- Excellent communication skills required;
- Customer service and/or healthcare office experience a plus;
- Must be able to thrive in a teamwork environment;
- Must be 21 years of age or older;
- Must be able to pass state and federal criminal background checks;
- Must be able to successfully complete a 2-hour online instructional course;
- Basic math skills required;
- Must demonstrate a proficiency for technology;
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights/weekends;
- Able to stand for long periods of time;
- Able to lift moderate weights (up to 35 lbs.);
- Comfortable being under constant video surveillance.
