- Stockers will ensure there is a wide variety of products on the sales floor and that each bin is fully stocked. This includes ensuring a variety of each strain for cartridges, concentrates, etc. is available in each bin for our sales staff.
- Check the daily deal bins and make sure they are well stocked on the floor throughout the day until a product is sold out.
- Stockers will utilize our POS system Dutchie to assist in managing inventory and communicating with Packaging Management anything running low or out.

About the Position:
The Sales Associate, also known as Budtender, is responsible for executing point of sales transactions, including handling cash at their assigned point of sale register. They are also responsible for handling stock and inventory at the kiosk. The Sales Associate must actively provide exceptional customer service while adhering to Garden of Eden store policy and state compliance. Customers may have questions regarding various products and strains and it is up to the Sales Associate to know how to best serve them. As such, this position requires a working knowledge of Garden of Eden products and merchandise which includes regular product training. The Sales Associate position is an entry-level position and reports directly to the Garden of Eden General Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
Greets customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
Execute all point of sale transactions
Accurately handles cash and their assigned point of sale register
Handle assigned retail inventory of products and merchandise on the sales floor
Immediately notify the Garden of Eden Assistant General Manager, or the Garden of Eden General Manager of any discrepancies in inventory or cash box.
Conduct end-of-day counts and reports to Garden of Eden General Manager of any items needing replenishment
Maintain general cleanliness and upkeep of kiosk area
Maintain knowledge of Garden of Eden policies and compliance
Work Environment:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for at least eight (8) hours
Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, and crouch in order to access products
Ability to lift and carry up to (50) pounds

· Must manage the curbside notebook by writing the patient name, spot number, method of payment, and budtender assisting them each time someone texts in.
· Must be able to operate LeafLogix POS system in order to scan in mobile/to-go orders for patients.
· Need to double check products are correct and that the order is complete when scanning in each item.
· Check each scanned item against the order ticket to make sure the patient is getting the correct order.
· Maintaining MMCC compliance throughout the entire transaction, ensuring labels print and are placed in the bag for later application when the patient arrives to pick up their order.
· Demonstrates strict adherence to all company policy and state regulations.
· Completes other assignments, tasks, and duties as assigned by management.
· Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of curbside order shelves and curbside expo Point of Sale system terminals.
· Need to communicate with patients over the phone effectively while all while using exceptional customer service, will occasionally need to communicate with patient in-person.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Develops internal audit procedures for all business entities in various states and localities on the East coast.
- Conducts regular, random internal audits of facility operations and prepares written reports to senior management.
- Creates and implements standard operating procedures(SOP), internal processes, and compliance training for cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution centers.
- Assists with remedial action to address gaps in facility operational compliance and mitigate future risks.
- Helps prepare for facility inspections, government regulatory investigations, and external audits.
- Reviews government investigation findings and mitigates with preparing and implementing corrective action plans.
- Ensures proper tracking and tracing of inventory and waste through various seed-to-sale software programs (MJ Freeway, BioTrack, METRC).

Delivery Driver
Gold Leaf is seeking a candidate to work full time as a cannabis delivery driver. This role will be based out of our luxury medical cannabis dispensary located in Annapolis. This position entails driving for long periods of time, attention to detail, superb customer service, and a spotless driving record.
Responsibilities include:
- Being a courier for our Annapolis dispensary while providing timely and safe deliveries to patients throughout the state of Maryland.
- Must take care while operating the delivery vehicle, the position requires a pristine driving record.
- Will be responsible for loading delivery orders into the vehicle at the start of the day and efficiently delivering each order along the route.

Established over 50 years ago, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is the nation’s leading conservation organization dedicated solely to restoring and protecting the Chesapeake Bay, our nation’s largest estuary. CONTEXT OF THE POSITION
The primary role of the Maryland Shellfish Growers Network Intern will be to assist the Maryland Fisheries Scientist with the development and implementation of the Maryland Shellfish Growers Network. The Maryland Shellfish Growers Network is a resource for shellfish growers that provides training, technical assistance, outreach, and mentoring to its members to help support and promote the aquaculture industry in Maryland. The Maryland Shellfish Growers Network supports the goals of the Chesapeake Oyster Alliance to add 10 billion oysters to the Bay by 2025.
Throughout the internship, there will be additional opportunities for participation in oyster restoration activities, research projects, and policy work supporting the implementation of ecosystem-based fisheries management. Candidates should be comfortable on the water and working on vessels.
Essential functions include:
- Researching and reporting on oyster aquaculture topics of interest
- Developing newsletters and correspondence for members of the Shellfish Growers Network
- Managing projects and completing deliverables on time
- Compiling and maintaining databases
- Outreach to oyster farmers
- Writing reports and memos for internal and external audiences
- Occasional travel to evening meetings
PREFERRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Successful candidate should be an undergraduate college student or recent graduate majoring in
environmental science, environmental policy, marine affairs, or another related field. Applicants must be available for 10-12 weeks. Intern will be required to work certain weekdays and occasionally in the evening. Candidate should have reliable transportation for occasional travel.
Self-motivation, the ability to work independently, and strong written and oral communication skills are required. Candidates familiar with reviewing the primary scientific literature and those with design, photography and/or videography skills are preferred.
This is a part-time position and offers a stipend.

About the Role:

Position Overview

Responsibilities
The grower will be responsible for assisting in daily activities as they pertain to maintaining the health of medical cannabis plants. This job operates in a commercial horticulture environment. This role routinely uses sharp instruments and is exposed to a variety of environmental conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Exposure to tight corners and workspaces. Exposure to a pollen producing environment. Work time expectation: 60% of the time will be spent working with plants in the grow rooms propagating, transplanting, moving, pruning, spacing, grading, watering, potting, and loading cannabis plants. 30% of time will be spent doing general duties around the nursery as they relate to the upkeep of the nursery, including 5s. 10% will be spent on continuous improvement.

POSITION AVAILABLE:
The TELEMEDICINE NURSE PRACTITIONER is to facilitate patient access to medical cannabis at a low cost to patients. 420Dr will connect patients with a Nurse Practitioner via a virtual platform, where patients can have tele-med (video) appointments to obtain their medical documents. The candidate will work remotely and see patients through scheduled virtual appointments.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assessing patient files for eligibility and requesting additional information when required.
· Performing patient evaluations through an online telemedicine platform
· Obtaining medical histories and maintain progress notes
· Recommending, when appropriate, patients for medical cannabis.
· Counsel patients on preventative & therapeutic health care services, and performing follow-up with patients, including recertifications.
· Maintain patients' files, records, and other information
· Meet standards of professional ethical conduct
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Must be certified Nurse Practioner.
· Be willing to work remotely and have internet connection and webcam
· Demonstrated advanced knowledge/experience in consultation and ethical decision-making

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for managing the daily operations of manufacturing activities of the Company. Responsible for managing the Extraction and Lab team in accordance with Virginia rules and regulations and standards set by Dharma Pharmaceuticals, LLC. Implements and maintains processes related to the purification of extracted cannabis oils and testing of final dosage forms derived from medical cannabis. The mission of the Company is to provide safe, natural relief to patients throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia with wellness-driven products that empower the health of our customers. Responsible for managing the extraction and processing teams in accordance with Virginia rules and regulations and standards set by Dharma Pharmaceuticals, LLC. Provides support for all manufacturing employees, including scheduling, training, policy and procedure updates, industry news, and product information. Overall responsibility and accountability for the extraction and lab processing of safe, high quality cannabis plants and cannabis-based products.
CORE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee Support and Management
- Responsible for managing extraction and lab/processing team with strategic direction, oversight of system-wide inventory control and development, and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Serves as a role model and resource for extraction and lab / processing team related to products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations.
- Trains and supervises all extraction staff and evaluates staff performance.
- Plans workload distribution, delegates tasks and create staff schedules to meet Company inventory management goals
- Oversees all extraction tasks and processes, ensures proper documentation of all applicable activities in accordance with the Virginia regulations and standards set by the Virginia Board of Pharmacy and maintain inventory via RFID tracking for all cannabis seeds, plants, products and extracts to prevent diversion.
- Responds to all extraction and lab/processing staff and consultants’ questions, concerns, or suggestions and takes action when necessary to resolve conflicts.
- Responsible for delegating tasks to extraction and lab/processing staff and consultants to maintain a compliant and clean cultivation facility.
- Coordinates with the executive team to ensure accurate information is communicated to the extraction and lab/processing staff.
Extraction
- Manage all extraction activities of the Company for all products for patients.
- Responsible for quality control of all products produced and distributed by the Company.
Compliance / Quality Assurance
- Assist with development and implementation of quality improvement programs to meet the Company standards.
- Responsible for extraction team compliance of all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols. Manage compliance with all current government regulations and professional standards respecting patient care.
- Evaluate quality control and quality assurance statistics and modifies SOPs, as needed.
Inventory Management and Control
- Leads continuous improvement in all and extraction and lab/processing protocols to maximize efficiencies to produce the most affordable product for patients.
Internal Product Analytic Testing
- Be responsible for daily duties related to analytic testing process of medical cannabis-based products.
- Management duties and responsibilities of additional chemists/technicians as company grows.
Independent Lab Testing
- Coordinate independent lab testing of all company oils and products as required by state regulation and Company procedures.
- Continuous improvement with independent lab testing companies for efficiencies and processes.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain appropriate records related to quality control and testing procedures and results.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Understanding of manufacturing processes in clean environments. Understanding of pharmaceutical compounding, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and clean lab environments. Understanding of Analytic Methods and Analytical Instruments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters or higher-level degree in Chemical Science or four years of additional experience.
- Experience with analytical processes, botanical or biologic processes preferred.
- Familiarity with quality control, policy and procedure and documentation.
- Demonstrated experience building and managing cGMP manufacturing at scale.
- Awareness of high-tech pharmaceutical manufacturing or pharmaceutical processing.
- 2+ years’ experience in related manufacturing leadership role.
- The ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time (i.e., lifting samples, moving lab equipment, and regular inventory).
- Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
