Summary:
Oak Canna, LLC is seeking an Cannabis Packaging Technician. The Cannabis Packaging Technician is responsible for multifunctional support of labeling and packaging our botanicals, concentrates and infused edible products. Labeling & Packaging Assistant
The Labeling & Packaging Assistant is responsible for labeling and packaging trimmed buds and marijuana infused products under the immediate supervision of the Labeling and Packaging Manager, who reports to the Inventory Control Manager. They also assist in the cultivation area, as needed under the supervision of the Master Grower.
This is an entry-level position, which pays $13.00-15.00 per hour.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Be precise and pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy in labeling and product information;
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to avoid contaminating product;
- Operate under the high standards our company has for compliance and professionalism;
- Organize inventory, as needed;

- Quantifies, reports, stages and stores final packages in an organized fashion by batch.
- Processes documentation to include the creation and revision of facility SOPs (by department), employee handbooks, procedural flowcharts, production logs, and company education and training materials.

Summary:

Responsible for packaging concentrates from a whole mass production state to a compliant, branded, ready for purchase state. Responsible for parsing out weight, applying various stickers and labels, attaching test results, ensuring all around quality, heat sealing, and cleaning and polishing of different company SKUs. Will aid in maintaining correct storage, labeling and inventory management of all finished products.
Must be able to fulfill all packaging duties in a timely, clean and safe practice. Will be working under supervision of the Inventory Manager and in close areas with other packagers.
Responsibilities:
- Required to work with scientific scales, and must follow proper calibration requirement at the beginning of each day to ensure accuracy
- Expected to package, shatter, badder, THC-A, Sauce, and vapor cartridges in a timely manner while reducing waste

We are looking for a Packaging Processing Technician to work in our Clinton cultivation and manufacturing facility, preparing products for our patients and customers.

Position Overview:
The Packaging and Processing Technician is responsible for handling and processing dry plant material, running standard production machinery, weighing, manicuring, inspecting and assisting with general packaging of products within our facility. This position is an integral piece of ensuring that only the highest-quality, well-manicured cannabis flower is packaged for sale to our patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently trim flower according to Affinity standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Effectively prepare flower material for pre-roll production and run the basic machinery to roll pre-rolls.
- Accurately perform filling, packaging, and labeling of products within the production facility. This includes, but is not limited to bulk flower, pre-rolls, cartridges, concentrates, edibles, and other marijuana infused products.
- Continuously monitor the quality of all items associated with filling, packaging, and labeling in order to minimize waste or rework.
- Process drying rooms, scan all products, and prepare room to be re-filled
- Fill and monitor Cure room under guidance of management
- Make sure all production areas and equipment are always clean and sanitized according to Affinity standard operating procedures.
- Work as a member of a fast-paced team environment to help the team meet group goals.
- Hand trim cannabis flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring high quality standards are met.
- Remove fan leaves and trunks after harvest to prepare for drying process.
- Maintain high level of cleanliness of all processing equipment / areas and sanitation practices .
- Report any identifiable occurrence of mold, mildew, seeds, pests, or pathogens to the Processing Manager.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Remain in compliance with local, state, federal, and internal regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass CORI, background and social media background checks.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Experience in the cannabis industry preferred but not required.
- Be capable of frequent and repetitive hand movements.

Purpose
This Packaging Technician position is responsible for executing their daily role within the Packaging department at an effective pace with accuracy to achieve the weekly objectives. Essential Duties
Procedures & Tasks
- This position is responsible for the operation, production of packaging product on the Packaging Machine Line for the Packaging department. This role will take on a variety of duties, such as, pre-packaging containers of dried cannabis product on an assembly line at an effective and efficient pace, accurately organizing and labeling packaged dried cannabis product, and troubleshooting and maintenance towards the Packaging Machine Line to sustain longevity and quality.
- The position is responsible for making all necessary adjustments and maintenance to have the machinery operate properly and most effectively. This position is responsible for proper diagnosis of machinery concerns formed with resolutions to continue operating effectively, consistently.
- Employee will be responsible for guiding and supporting team members and associates participating in the production of packaging containers on the Packaging Machine Line. Contributing and participating with professional communication to achieve proper data logging, labeling, and effective team unity towards daily and weekly quotas. Assist associates to achieve team goals, and support the leadership of Packaging with instructed requests.
- Supporting the Leads and Supervisor of Packaging to assist, guide, and train Packaging department members to accurately package different SKUs and inventory packages. Support the team's understanding and ability to resolve issues of organizing and inventorying dried product.
- Support the communication and secure transport of dried product from the storage areas to the Packaging and Distribution rooms. Maintaining consistency of quality of packaging and labeling before exporting product from facility.
- Clear understanding of workflow throughout the Processing department.
- Be prepared to change technique and instruction based on variables, R&D codes, and strain attributes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment following GMP certified procedures.
- Be prepared to execute tasks within the Processing department, along with assisting towards company and facility objectives.
- Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity. Meet daily quotas.
- Maintain a culture of professionalism.

- Supporting the leadership of Packaging to guide and train Packaging department members to maintain proper organization of the Packaging and Distribution rooms. Contribute to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the rooms.
- Monitor, confront, and report any noticeable Packaging Machine Line concerns with the leadership of Packaging to ensure follow through of machinery issues.
- Ensure organization and cleanliness of the immediate work area. Ensure proper maintenance of computer workstation and spreadsheets.
- After use of equipment or supply, follow through with cleaning and organizing SOPs.
Compliance and Reporting
- Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
- Update and track all required information in the Packaging logs, METRC, CounterPoint, and spreadsheets daily.
- Supporting the organizing and securing of all packaging tags and labels.
- Report any improper action of compliance regulations.
- Following instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.
Supervision
- Works under the direct supervision of the Lead of Packaging, Lead of Order Fulfillment, and Supervisor of Packaging.
- This person will be asked to lead, guide, and train Advanced Processors in the department to assist and support the leadership of Packaging, but they will not be asked to discipline any team members.

Summary of Position: Packing Technicians are responsible for the processing material to be packed into appropriate sizes and quantities. Qualifications:

The Packaging Technician is responsible for filling, packaging and preparing TWAX joints, RSO, Tinctures and Cartridges as necessary for sale the products of a local production facility.
In addition to filling cartridges, syringes and packing pre-rolled cones, the technician applies labels and other documentation to the product which ensures that it complies with regulatory requirements.
Qualification Requirements:
Must possess a Marijuana Handler Permit (OAR 845-025-5500) before being hired. This is an entry level position.
Job Duties:
- Work in a safe and productive manner during designated shift
- Adhere to all safety and packaging procedures
- Communicate all issues, questions or concerns with management and other operators
- Help train new employees and coach existing employees

DFMMJ Investments, LLC, d/b/a Liberty Health Sciences Florida, Ltd. is a Medical Marijuana Treatment Center that has been granted a license by the Florida Department of Health to cultivate, process, transport, and dispense low-THC cannabis, medical cannabis, and cannabis delivery devices pursuant to Florida Statutes.
The primary focus of this role is to package cannabis and non-cannabis items and prepare them for transfer to the Fulfillment Department or to ship to retail locations and patients. This role is also responsible for the weighing and packaging of whole flower products.
The person in this role needs to have strong attention to small details, follow direction well, maintain consistency across large volumes of products, and be an adaptable team player.
Requirements
Responsibilities include:
- Label and package all cannabis and non-cannabis items, including weighing and packing of whole flower products.
- Maintain consistency through repetition to maintain uniformity in products.
- Keep accurate records at all steps to maintain control of regulated product.
- Be aware of quality and compliance standards and check for defects. Must adhere to cGMP protocols.
- Label reconciliation and tracking.
- Assist in set-up of manufacturing tasks if required.
- Assist Inventory and Distribution Manager with maintaining and organizing packaging materials.
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check (FBI)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be responsible and self-managed.
- Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills.
- Independent worker able to plan and prioritize workflow.
