Job Description
Reporting to the GM of Cultivation, our Cultivation Associates are responsible for sourcing, cloning, transplanting, and providing nutrients to a variety of marijuana plants. Cultivation Associates will ensure the Cultivation Facility stays clean and organized as well as in a constant state of compliance.
Responsibilities
· Optimize cultivation related SOP’s
· Setting up and maintaining irrigation systems and environmental controls
· Ensure plant health by pruning, toping, and trimming
· Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils, and equipment

- Inspection of parking lots and garages of the property at a speed of approximately 5-7mph

- Other items that are not normal to the property
- Door Check: At the time where all employees have left, the officer is expected to check every door of the location to ensure that the last employee is locked up and has set all necessary alarms.
- Lighting, Trash, and Security Assessments: It is expected of officers during the patrols to provide if applicable; lighting, trash, and security assessments. These consist of notifying the upper management via reports of all necessary lights that are out, the trash that is not disposed of properly, and any potential areas that there could be a breach of security (no fence, hole in fence, overgrown trees, or bushes to hide in etc.).
- Reporting: During every tour of the property, it is imperative that the officers report information in detail of all that they saw during the patrol.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Security Guard, or equivalent, experience required
- Understanding of security operations & FEMA ICS/Watch officer training a plus
- 1+ year of Dispatching, CCTV Operations, or Information Technology experience a plus

Reporting Relationships:
The Executive Director reports directly to the Managing Board. The Executive Director is responsible for the performance of all employees reporting through the following direct reports:
- Production Manager
- Marketing Manager
- Sales Manager
- Administrative Manager
The Executive Director will also have the benefit of being supported by Shared Services through relationships of the Managing Board. While members of the Shared Services team do not report directly to the Executive Director, the Executive Director is responsible for directing their efforts within the operation and escalating any performance issues directly to the Managing Board.
Authority:
The Executive Director is given the authority to conduct all the routine business and management affairs of the Company. This authority is given by the management board, and includes but is not limited to:
- Develop the personnel to achieve their highest level of performance possible.
- Hire, fire, promote, demote or discipline personnel.
- Direct and delegate Shared Services staff.
- Development of Company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Develop and present any new or modified Company policies and procedures to the Office of the CEO for approval.
- Develop and present any new Company product(s) to the Office of the CEO for approval.
- Propose, review and modify the services sold by the Company.
- Establish or approve the goals, objectives and budgets for the Company and each department with Managing Board.
- Recommend pay changes for Company personnel.
- Set limits on the activity of employees to enable the Company to achieve the established objectives with minimal direct supervision of day‑to‑day activities.
- Take reasonable actions necessary to carry out the responsibilities of management, so long as such action is consistent with Company policies and sound business judgment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The primary responsibility of the Executive Director is oversight of Company’s operations. These are specific areas that must be addressed in meeting that responsibility:
General and Administrative
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the Company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and new technologies.
- Ensure that housekeeping (5S plus safety) is maintained and the overall appearance of the Company is pleasing to the customers and provides a healthy and safe work environment for personnel.
- Establish new processes and procedures in the ongoing improvement and development of the Company.
- Protect the Company’s intellectual property rights by ensuring that all confidential information is protected, and all brands, logos and slogans are trademarked.
- Ensure that all key employees have signed Company Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).
Operational Procedures
- Establish and maintain the Company policies and/or procedure manuals (“SOP’s”).
- Establish the Company quality policy and ensure compliance.
- Assign duties to the staff as necessary to accomplish special projects or multi-department activities.
Customer Service
- Maintain the Company focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Establish production schedules to ensure sales orders are met provide guidance to the sales department on meeting goals.
- Establish priorities for handling of urgent tasks and work overloads that ensure customer/distributor expectations are met.
- Ensure that customer/distributor complaints are handled expeditiously and tactfully.
Staff Management
- Establish procedures for recruiting, hiring and training employees.
- Conduct weekly management meetings per the BOS using the related workbook.
- Conduct monthly all-staff meetings.
- Perform employee reviews and ensure compliance.
- Oversee employee discipline and ensure all actions are fair and non-discriminatory.
- Maintain solid line of communication with Shared Services to manage their allocated time properly.
Financial Control
- Understand the Company financial reports and review the monthly Profit and Loss statement and Budget Variance Report.
- Ensure inventories are conducted and accurate records are maintained.
- Advise the Managing Board on issues needed to improve profitability.
- Evaluate equipment purchases/leases and conduct cost/benefit analyses.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in business management or similar
- Demonstrated P & L responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to effectively build and lead a team in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent knowledge of the industry and trends impacting the business.
- Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to do routine business math calculations including computation of production costs and bills of materials.
- Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
Working Conditions:
- Appearance always must represent the Company image.
- The work for this position will be divided between a climate controlled, smoke free office environment and outside in various venue locations in all types of weather. The normal auto and air travel hazards will apply. Travel will be in all types of weather including heavy rain and below freezing temperatures with possible snow conditions.
- Position may require up some travel.
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 75 lbs.
- Work area may have fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

We are manufacturing and production experts. The Cost Accountant will act as point of contact between the different parts of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and external parties, such as vendors, clients, or lenders. Responsibilities

This individual will "float" to different departments when additional assistance is needed - helping with harvesting, packaging, etc.
This career path is best described as fast-paced, highly repetitive, with a great deal of manual labor while working in various temperatures from 60 to 80 degrees. The ideal candidate will have a positive "can-do" attitude and will respect co-workers, the plants, and the facility. Managing high stress, high urgency situations is a must. Attendance and punctuality are critical to the success of this role.
The Cannabis Technician is an integral part of our team that assists with all aspects of preparing finished packaged products that will be sold to retail stores. The team maintains the final process steps of a cultivation facility in which products are packaged, inventoried, and sold based on various work instructions, processes, and techniques performed as a part of daily routine operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Create packages both physically and in the MI State Metrc compliance system.
- Keep very accurate and detailed inventory in an orderly fashion. Record plant growth patterns, plant temperatures, stresses, and condensation points.
- Perform cycle counts on inventory.
- Create Metric tags, manifests, invoices and shipping labels.
- Interface with cannabis transport companies and arrange the pickup and delivery of sales orders.
- Provide great customer service to both Sales Reps and customers.
- Clean all work areas involved, e.g., sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces and common spaces.
- Observe and immediately advise supervisors about issues with plants, equipment, or environments.
- Must have good communication skills, interact professionally, and work effectively with others.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and independently motivated Director of Compliance to establish and maintain a cutting-edge compliance program enabling fast and efficient operations while observing all applicable regulations of the Marijuana Regulatory Agency, the Michigan Dept of Agriculture and applicable municipalities. The responsibilities of the Director of Compliance include the continuous monitoring of laws and regulations with regards to the company’s operations, the harmonization and consistent improvement of company processes and SOPs relative to those laws and regulations, and the design and implementation of employee training. The Director of Compliance will also participate in interactions with MRA and METRC staff in support of the CLO and various department heads/managers. To be successful as a Director of Compliance, you should have advanced reading comprehension and writing skills, and be able to develop creative solutions to new, novel operational/regulatory issues.
Responsibilities
- Building solid, trusting relationships with department leaders responsible for implementing company processes and policies.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of all laws and regulations applicable to company’s operations, monitoring new developments, and quickly diagnosing the implications of those laws and regulations as it relates to the company’s operations, processes and policies.
- Drafting and continuously updating company policies and SOPs with the goal of developing highly efficient and fully compliant operational standards for the company.
- Designing and implementing employee training programs to ensure employees are empowered with necessary information to ensure their job performance and professional advancement in the cannabis industry.
- Assisting with MRA and local application development and maintenance.
- Any other legal or regulatory based tasks assigned by the CLO.
Experience and Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience planning/managing business operations in a highly regulated, compliance focused industry.
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of study; law degree preferred.
- Process-based thinker with strong organizational skills.
- Prior experience administering employee/staff training programs.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
