Summary
Counts, labels, assembles, bags and boxes a variety of items into final product container or packaging, while also ensuring the highest quality by performing constant quality checks throughout the day. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and stay active while on duty.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Packaging product inventory
- Operate and Maintain flow wrapping machine
- Counting, sorting, labeling, assembling, taping, boxing, and packing inventory for sales
- Reach production quotas by maintaining a quick, effective pace within a team environment as well as solo.
- Quality control all Products and Packaging
- Products and packaging should be handled with care, attention to detail and with the highest standard of cleanliness and upkeep
- Notify a supervisor if any inventory product or production equipment appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory in any way
- Check all boxes and packages while on the line and alert a supervisor if products or items do not match or are of the wrong quantity.
- Perform other related duties and tasks when requested
- Daily team cleaning of production packaging floor Meet daily, weekly and monthly team and personal quota goals set forth by the company
- Perform team and individual tasks as assigned while maintaining an efficient production pace and speed.
- Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
Qualifications

- High School diploma or GED At least 6 months of related experience and/or training in a production or packaging environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Must stay in Compliance with all Nevada Regulations pertaining to Cannabis and working in the Nevada Cannabis industry

Position Summary:
Assist the Production team with the activities and operations required to complete the functions of the Production departments. Study and comprehend all policies, procedures and operational guidelines set by the management team. This position is responsible for assisting with Order Fulfillment, METRC Compliance/Tracking, Hydrocarbon Extraction and Distillation Production, which includes inventory management using METRC, production of cannabis Infused products, Order Fulfillment, compliance requirements, and Good Lab Practices safety protocols.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for helping the Production & Extraction Departments meet the production demand quantity and Quality Control for any products going out the door to all retail locations in accordance with Exhale Nevada’s Retail License and any wholesale Retail Vendors
- Responsible for completing any work assigned to them during their scheduled shift
- Inventory tracking through METRC of all processing material, finished Wholesale Inventory, Order Fulfillment, and “In processing” Products
- Order Fulfillment and Compliance Fulfillment for Wholesale and Retail Orders
- Inventory Audits of Wholesale Inventory, Processing Inventory, and Production Inventory using METRC
- Team Player Mentality with the ability to work with multiple other Employees from different backgrounds

- Assists with inventory tracking systems both internally on the “Production Log” and through the State Tracking System METRC
- Follows all safety programs and protocols and provides updates as necessary
- Responsible for facilitating inspections by any and all governing agencies.

o Maintains processes that are appropriate for equipment and program requirements.

Job Specifications:
- Knowledge and adherence to the policies, procedures and goals of Exhale brands Nevada.
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences.
- Knowledge and ability to use standard lab equipment; vacuum oven, hotplate, Emotek extractor, etc.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, management, customers, other governmental agencies, community members and the general public.
- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
- Must understand and comply with typical laboratory standards
- Must be familiar with OSHA guidelines for dealing with hazardous chemicals.
- Skill in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions, and implementing recommendations in support of company philosophies and goals.
- Ability to research, evaluate and adapt to new methods, compliance updates and techniques for operational improvement.
- Ability to interpret, understand, and comply with complex statutes, ordinances, regulations, standards, and laws.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, data base management, spreadsheet applications like Excel and electronic mail.
Additional Requirements:
- Nevada driver’s license or State ID card
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Must be approved by the Nevada Department of Taxation to receive a badge
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, advanced degree preferred
- Previous food service/ laboratory/ manufacturing or retail experience related to the job requirements are preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
- Must be trained in Nevada’s Track and Trace inventory System, METRC
- Ability to work diligently alone but also be able to work diligently with others
Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
- The work for this position gets done in a laboratory setting
- Must be able to work in an open Warehouse, where temperatures exceed 85 Degrees some days
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (200 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
