Technician in the Packaging Department will primarily be responsible for counting, weighing, packaging, labeling and sealing products destined for the dispensary.
Products include tinctures, topicals, concentrates, pills, and lozenges.
Technician must accurately weigh product into containers, count final product prior to transport, and maintain organized inventory of department necessities.
Technician will clean and sanitize their work space and tools in accordance with sanitation standards.
Employees are responsible for assisting with facility clean-up and maintenance and any other duties as assigned.
Secondary duties to include assisting Trim Department with the execution of all tasks related to trimming.
This includes, but is not limited to, de-leafing, bucking, and trimming flower and any other duties assigned.

The Dispensary Associate is responsible for guiding a customer on their journey into cannabis by educating them on the benefits and potential side effects. In this role, you will need to be knowledgeable enough to speak to customers about various products and their effects while providing excellent customer service. The Extraction Technician will assist with processing of crude concentrates used for cannabis infused products. Successful candidate will have strong passion for fine machinery, delicate processes, and the intricacies of scientific processing equipment. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure maximum profitability and sales growth in all store functions by managing expense budgets, including deposits, accounts receivable, and profit and loss.
- Direct daily operations with full P&L responsibility at the store-level.

The manufacturing technician will assist with daily tasks that ensure cannabis infused products are efficiently produced. Products include lozenges, tinctures, tablets, and topicals. Key Responsibilities:
- Fill product by use of machinery, measuring devices, and counters
- Perform primary packaging duties
- Clean and maintain laboratory items and machinery
- Maintain clean room environment and standards

Job Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma
- At least of 2 years relevant experience working in a laboratory or clean room environment. General computer ability.
Preferred: Previous experience in medical cannabis industry
Physical Demands: Ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication may be required. Sitting or standing for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
Some heavy lifting may be required. Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment. Must be comfortable operating and troubleshooting label printing equipment.
Work Environment: The job is performed indoors in a traditional laboratory setting. Exposure to chemicals and laboratory agents is expected. Protective safety clothing, goggles, gloves, facemasks, or hat are required as needed. Activities include extended periods of sitting or standing and extensive work using laboratory and packaging equipment and machinery.

The Cultivation Assistant will be a part of a staff of 10-15 and will assist with the production of medical cannabis under the Hawaii Medical Cannabis Program.
