Bountiful Farms is Seeking multiple cultivation technicians to tend to the recently expanded Tier 3/ Indoor cultivation facility. All applicants should have knowledge of horticultural practices. Needs to be self-motivated and have a desire to learn and expand their knowledge. Must have high attention to detail. Must be able to maintain workflow with standard operating procedures. Must maintain a safe and clean work environment. Must adhere to compliance with all CCC, MDAR, and internal quality controls and standards. Must have a high degree of flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a passion for cannabis as well as individual growth and development in this industry.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensures daily production schedule and goals set by Cultivation Managers are fulfilled with meticulous care
- Caring for the cannabis garden observing plant health and conditions including proper watering/ dry backs, substrate Ph, E.C. and reporting issues that may exist such as environmental issues/nutrient deficiencies etc.
- Keeping scrupulously accurate records through excel applying incredible attention to detail in observing and inspecting the plants
- Assists in all aspects of cultivation operations including from cloning, vegetative growth flowering, transplanting, trellising, pruning, bottoming, toping, shaping, spacing and overall canopy management/ maintenance. Cultivation technicians will assist in all areas but will eventually be assigned to a designated department.
- Assists in the setup, monitoring and maintenance of irrigation systems and environmental controls.
- Performs plant destruction and plant waste destruction in compliance with the General Manager of Cultivation’s SOPs and state and local laws
- Accountable for accurate tracking and logging of all plants by utilizing the inventory tracking systems.
- Proficient to advance in METRC and CCC regulations
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness of all Cultivation Equipment, Rooms, and areas as well as sanitation practices concerning handling of plants according to Company procedure.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a High School education
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong desire to produce a high-quality product.

Physical Demands:

Facilities
- Perform routine maintenance around the building such as, fixing damage to windows, doors or walls

- Notify appropriate departments when visitors arrive
- Assist the cultivation staff in informing visitors as well as enforcing that all visitors are wearing the appropriate PPE

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Extraction Lead is responsible for the daily preparation of broad/full spectrum raw extracts from cannabis flower/trim and the processing and purification of extracts through winterization, distillation, and other purification techniques. The Extraction Lead will perform, supervise, and help optimize all daily tasks in the Laboratory and will assist the Director of Extraction by providing guidance and support to lab operations. Extraction Lead will work closely with/lead the manufacturing team to carry out day-to-day tasks including prepping for extraction runs, cannabis extraction using supercritical CO2, winterization/distillation/purification of crude oils, keeping detailed records, cleaning, and adhering to all regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execution of laboratory operations in accordance with all written SOP's and in accordance with local and state regulations.
- Performing specific extraction processes and refining concentrates into desired consistency.
- Performing distillations/chromatography on crude extracts.
- Recording of data, movement, and observations within logs/laboratory notebooks.
- Performing and troubleshooting routine and preventative maintenance on instruments.
- Operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Taking inventory of all materials including materials, supplies, consumables, spare parts for equipment etc.
- Monitoring supply of goods for extraction needs and coordinating with Director of Extraction to ensure ordering is taking place.
- Actively participate in internal and external meetings, inspections, and audits
- Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one to another with a hands-on working style.
- Assist in establishing and executing departmental operational plans based on the company goals/current needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Prior extraction experience with multiple extraction formats highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science field with 1+ years of Laboratory experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn variety of systems.
- Familiar with extraction and separation principles as well as a basic understanding of thermodynamic principles and wet chemistry techniques.
- Distillation experience with spinning band or short path is a plus.
- Comfort working with compressed gases and with high pressure systems a plus.
- Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Executing under the direction of the GM of Cultivation on the operational needs of the cultivation, processing and manufacturing:

RESPONSIBILITIES
Executing under the direction of the GM of Cultivation on the operational needs of the cultivation, processing and manufacturing

The Administrative Assistant supports the Bountiful Farms management staff as well as general office duties. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources the Administrative Assistant will:
- Manage calendars and schedules for the CEO, Director of HR, GM of Cultivation, CFO, and the Director of Security and Compliance.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings
- Prepare documents in support of meetings using software in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Support the planning and coordinating of company events such as luncheons, parties, and employee social events
- Assist employees with expense reports assuring accuracy and timely submission to Finance
- Assist in the preparation of onboarding materials for new employees as they are hired
- Directly supporting the HR Director in the organization of incoming resumes, scheduling candidates and phone screening technician level resumes
- Assisting the HR Director with posting of resume on job boards and social media.
- Ordering of general office supplies and food supplies for the kitchen areas.
- Ordering of office furniture
- Meet and greet various guests escorting them to appropriate meetings
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associates Degree in Business or Certificate in Office Management desired
- High School Education required
- Ability to independently access the Office needs of a start-up organization
- Maintain the strictest level of confidentiality
- Self-starter who realizes the commitment toward a start-up company wearing multiple hats managing a diversity of responsibilities
- High level of verbal and written communication skills including phone, email and written correspondence
- Keen understanding of social media outlets

The Cultivation Compliance Manager will be responsible for all of the regulatory compliance work within and specific to the cultivation department. Reporting to the General Manager of Cultivation, you will ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures, create process maps and supporting standard operating procedures (S.O.P.s), as well as lead health and safety compliance. You will be responsible for assessing organizational systems (both physical and process or data related) i.e. seed to sale tracking to determine gaps in compliance specific to cultivation and determine opportunities for remediation. You will advise the organization on all cultivation compliance-related matters. May be responsible for project management relative to new compliance, ethics and integrity initiatives, products, or annual processes specific to Massachusetts cultivation regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with quality assurance/control and security departments to develop and perform internal audits regularly to determine regulatory compliance in the cultivation sector according to Cannabis Control Commission’s Regulations;
- Assist in disseminating regulatory changes or notifications to relevant departments and individuals within the organization in a timely and efficient manner;
- Continuously monitor the changing regulatory landscape to assist in development, implementation, monitoring and assessment of strategic initiatives for the department and organization in the area of regulations; and
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Massachusetts Cannabis regulatory agencies laws and regulations. Particularly extensive knowledge of 935 CMR 501.000 medical use of Marijuana updated version (8/15/19).
- Create process maps and standard operating procedures for all critical processes related to seed to sale inventory (Bio track) and compliance specific
- Responsible for organizing and managing the Bio track cultivation room layout
- Responsible for overseeing of the RFID Tagging of all clones/seedlings over 6â€Â
- Act as the cultivation compliance coordinator with regulators and staff
- Ensure workplace health and safety policies and procedures are followed
- Develop and implement an annual employee training program regarding seed to sale inventory
- Daily METRC reconciliation
- Weekly inventory
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- 1-2 years supervisory experience in a highly regulated field or in regulatory operations
- Sufficient knowledge of the provisions of , 935 CMR 501.000 medical use MDAR, as well as any OSHA affiliated regulations
- Recent criminal record check completed (required prior to hiring);
- Demonstrated experience championing best practices in high-volume, dynamic environments.
- Experience systematically implementing, coordinating and organizing auditable record systems;
- Solid experience in the mitigation and minimization of regulatory related impacts; and
- Experience in interpretation of complex regulatory requirements
- Experience in writing and training team members on implementation of S.O. P’s
- Knowledge of general security compliance requirements and technologies.
- General knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
- Proficient in spreadsheet and data management software, particularly EXCEL
- IT experience a plus
