Post Harvest Lead
Role Summary:
The Post-Harvest Lead will direct workflow and lead others in a positive productive manner. The ideal candidate for this position is equally comfortable directing others and carrying out tasks themselves. This role is responsible for overseeing 15-20 employees and controls the workflow of Dry, Cure, and Trimming in a fast-paced environment. They will work with the Post-Harvest Manager to inspect product during drying and bucking for quality defects to ensure the procedures are being followed and meet specific requirements set forth by Company guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure that all employees are aware of and adhere to the company’s Uniform and Attendance policies.
Ensure that all employees receive proper training for the task at hand and the tasks are being completed according to the SOP’s. Any questions that the employees have regarding task should be directed to you.
Working with the department Manager and dry tech employees to accomplish daily tasks.
Perform daily team meetings with your Team to go over the tasks for the day.
Ensure that the work area is kept clean on a daily basis
Complete daily room assessments to ensure product quality.
Keep track of supply inventory. Make sure to fill out an order form every week.
Reporting to Management on a regular basis with updates, problems, or comments. Always respond to Manager’s emails unless specified otherwise.

Job Specifications:
Strong knowledge and understanding of cannabis handling and drying.

Role Summary:
The Cure Lead will ensure that daily functions of the department are being performed correctly and efficiently while confirming accuracy and quality throughout the Curing process.

Role Summary:
The Cure Lead will ensure that daily functions of the department are being performed correctly and efficiently while confirming accuracy and quality throughout the Curing process.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify that all employees are aware and adhere to the company's Uniform and Attendance policies.
- Ensure that all employees receive proper training for the task at hand and the tasks are being completed according to the SOP's. Any questions that the Cure Technicians have regarding task should be directed to you.
- Perform daily team meeting with your group to go over the tasks for the day.

- Verify that all flower transfers are properly executed per week, and that each flower batch is transferred to the appropriate pipeline and destination in a timely manner
- Ensure that all moisture testing is conducted in real time and all associated logs are updated daily
- Make sure tools and equipment are maintained, cleaned and calibrated as needed
- Ensure that all necessary sample testing is conducted daily, while also verifying that transport delivers testing samples to internal Lab
- Ability to effectively and accurately read transport manifests for incoming flower deliveries

Trimmer/ Harvest
Our Trimmers are responsible for efficiently performing quality trimming to prepare marijuana plants for sale. They must de-fan plants, precisely weigh and record them, trim off sticks when the cannabis dries, and sustain cleanliness and organization of their work area. Additionally, they maintain the quality of the plants, ensure a high level of cleanliness, and even take care of side tasks, such as medicine processing or reporting updates to management. Cannabis trimmers are expected to work with integrity and honesty while being resourceful and ready to work as a part of a team or independently. And, just like other cannabis jobs, a cannabis trimmer should demonstrate incredible attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)
- Maintain and follow the trimming department policies and procedures
- Maintain proper data entry to ensure METRIC seed to sale compliance
- Wash and sanitize all equipment. Monitor all equipment, ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease.
- Uphold quality of finished product through employing attention to detail while manicuring flower.
- Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of a cannabis plant, be able to separate useable material from waste material, and track accordingly in seed to sale software.
- Must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of cannabis they are trimming; adjusting techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.
- Employee must show up on time for their scheduled shift ready to work.
- Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the state while processing patient medicine.

1. Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Takes direction from the Harvest Team Lead.
b. Responsible for performing tasks related to harvesting, trimming, drying, and curing.
c. Responsible for recording and reporting data related to the process to the Harvest Team Lead.
d. Responsible for recording and reporting weight of any excess product that is considered waste.
e. Assists in cleaning and facility maintenance tasks including sweeping, cleaning pots or stakes, ensuring a clean and organized working environment, and sanitation of equipment.
f. Maintains a culture of professionalism and service.
g. Complies with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
h. Performs in a manner consistent with the goals and values of the company.
i. Other duties as assigned.
2. Trim Duties
a. Weigh harvested plants in their entirety to determine total plant wet weight for recording in the electronic tracking system.
b. After full plant wet weight is recorded, defoliate harvested plant in order to remove waste and by-products such as stalks, stems, dry and crispy leaves and bulk fan leaf.
c. Weigh all waste and by-products for recording in the electronic tracking system.
d. If hand trimming, use sterilized scissors or shears to trim remaining fan leaves from the plant to separate medical marijuana flower from medical marijuana tight trim.
e. If machine trimming, prep and sterilize proper equipment, monitor plant input and output to ensure successful process.
f. Weigh final waste, medical marijuana bud weight, and medical marijuana tight trim weight and record in the electronic tracking system.
g. Prep trimmed plant material for the ongoing quality control process, including drying and curing.
h. Act as a second level of defense by exercising good quality control practices and report problems to the cultivation team and management.
i. Assist the cultivation team, when needed, with pruning live cannabis plants in the flowering cycle to encourage better growth.
3. Dry/Cure Duties
a. Perform all tasks associated with drying including, weighing, racking, de-stemming, and proper curing protocols.
b. Record final dry weight of medical marijuana inventory into the electronic tracking system.
c. Perform a final manicure and inspection of all harvested and trimmed medical marijuana inventory.
d. Batch like strains for entry in the electronic tracking system.
e. Be a team player and assist the Inventory Control Manager in all tasks associated with ensuring proper curing in preparation for processing.
f. Inspect finished product for various types of pests and pathogens, including mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus, gnats, etc.
g. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
h. Possess and maintain working knowledge in container systems and understanding of temperature and humidity manipulation.
i. Possess and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Cannabis strains; Sativa, Indica, and Hybrids.
Employment Standards:
Education – High school diploma required. A bachelor's degree in Business, Botany, Horticulture, Agriculture, or related fields is preferred.
Experience – Experience working in a large grow operation with experience hand and/or machine trimming. Familiarity with molds, mildews, and pest. Strong understanding or ability to be trained on the electronic tracking system.

Harvest Team Member – Indoor and Greenhouse
Job Summary:
As a Harvest Team Member, you will be responsible for processing and manicuring our cannabis products. Be a part of harvesting the plants, cleaning flower rooms and moving new plants into the prepped room. Harvest Team Members will also de-buck and clear plants from the dry room(s).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hand trim and separate unusable product from flower and separate pre-roll material
- Aim to trim 1.5 lbs. of finished flower in a day
- Assist with cleaning the workspaces at the end of each day
- Complete harvesting activities which include removing plants from trellis and pots; de-leaf the plants; hang and run plants through each step of harvest.
- Clear dried plants to be trimmed
- Clean flower rooms of all trash, dirt and debris, sanitize flower rooms following harvest, and dry rooms following room tear downs
- Assist maintaining quality standards and production goals
- Adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are trimming; adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality
- Support management in other related duties, as required

About the Role:
Do you love working with your hands? We are looking for Harvest and Trim Team Members to join our cultivation team. The Harvest and Trim Team Member provides manual labor which supports the post-cultivation activities and operations of our cultivation department. This position will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, positive individual who can think of no better way to spend the work day than potting, big leafing, and harvesting our cannabis plants with expert care and precision.
Core Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Efficiently trim and de-fan plants and dry flower.
- Responsible for accurately weighing and recording all wet and dry trim weights.
