We are looking for a dedicated Systems Support Specialist for our growing company.
Thrive is an Illinois based business unit of Marimed specializing in retail dispensaries. An integral part of our retail success is the successful implementation, maintenance, training, and support of our ERP/ POS/ Online Ordering system.
There will be an initial implementation phase for every new facility, as well as training of key staff for that facility. Similarly, the Professional Services position includes creating and amending existing procedures for any specific facility based on configuration, location and regulations.
The successful candidate will be Task/ Goal oriented, provide diligent attention to detail, a Self-starter who is able to thrive with minimal supervision and resourceful to seek and source additional support as needed and a fast learner.
Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):
- Maintain and support the MRMD retail software technology stack comprised of ERP/POS/Online Ordering Systems
- Point of contact for system bugs and issues
- Document and communicate system errors/bugs with vendors or necessary parties
- Continually train and evaluate staff on system processes
- Quarterly database hygiene
- Identify areas of weakness in employee system operations
- Maintaining accurate operating manuals for facility specific processes in the software
- Communicate with managers regularly on areas of concern
- Meet with Systems Director to relay issues/opportunities for improvement on system functionality
- Meet with the vendors to relay bugs and troubleshoot existing bugs
- Ensure system compliance with state regulations
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Cordial and friendly service and employee support
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ Years IT experience
- Bachelors Degree in IT related field (preferred)

Most days will be spent analyzing substantial amounts of financial data and preparing various accounting and financial reports. MariMed is growing our finance team and is currently seeking a Cost Accountant Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will interact daily with our corporate finance and accounting team. The Cost Accountant will also directly interact with operational management who operate our network of cultivation, manufacturing and dispensaries in multiple US states. The ideal candidate has a background in cost accounting with US GAAP experience in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties
- Administer the daily/weekly cycle count process
- Administer, review and summarize periodic physical counts at all sites wherever Company inventory is stored
- Review and post inventory receipt batches
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations for all inventory accounts
- Perform monthly general ledger to subsidiary ledger reconciliations for all inventory accounts
- Create and post journal entries into QuickBooks for areas of responsibility
- Participate in month-end accounting close, preparing journal entries for inventory and cost of goods sold
- Contribute to the preparation of quarterly standard cost modeling and monthly KPI’s related to Inventory and Gross Margin
- Understand production-related variances within the financials and communicate and assist management in identifying and resolving issues.
- Analyze and review data from inventory systems to support accurate cost and inventory reporting
- Assist with implementing and maintaining inventory and costing SOP’s
- Be a point person for internal and external costing related inquiries for multiple markets
- Support business needs by performing research and analysis for data-based decision making
- Provide support for year-end close, audit, inventory count and other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Strong systems knowledge that includes advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools

The Benefits Specialist will assist employees with This individual will perform a wide range of Human Resource duties. The major areas covered are new hire administration, benefits administration, recruitment, HR compliance and administration. This position will provide support to all MariMed’s employees, acting as the first point of contact, while assisting the Corporate HR Manager as needed with other responsibilities and projects. This individual will partner with Regional Management to drive the Company's HR strategies while supporting the regional priorities. Priorities include: employee benefits enrollment and questions, verifying/audit billing (as needed), maintaining internal databases, and ensuring compliance with required benefit notices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with the maintenance and execution of the Company's new hire orientation program
- Assists with developing and tracking compliance with Company HR policies and procedures. Responsibilities include communicating any issues to the HR Manager, proposing solutions to HR-related issues and assisting with approved solution implementation

Non-Cannabis Inventory Control Specialist (Beverly) is responsible for aiding the team in all facets of non-cannabis inventory maintenance. This role will receive shipments and play an integral role in preparing and processing physical inventory and routine cycle counts. This position will be responsible for working with all departments dealing with packaging and raw ingredients. This is primarily a data entry position working in our Leaf Logix Inventory software. The Role
The Field Marketing / Brand Ambassador role will serve as a liaison between the product, marketing, and sales team responsible for amplifying and activating brand and retail strategies at the street, retail and cultural level within the cannabis industry in Massachusetts
You will be responsible for managing the achievements of results directly related to program objectives, goals and metrics set by the sales and marketing teams. Primary areas of focus are managing consumer engagement activities with dispensary education channels, event production/execution, building relationships with culture and community groups and, and supporting sales and marketing team events
The Brand Ambassador will aim to maximize long-term client relationships with our own dispensary as well as wholesales dispensary accounts, become a trusted advisor to retailers and strengthen brand loyalty within the MA market. This role directly supports the sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities - Overall
*
- Conduct strategic planning of consumer and trade activity to optimize reach for the assigned brands. Research and analyze opportunities in designated territory area(s). Identify best opportunities and use discretionary authority and analysis to propose and schedule activity —provide all rationale and strategy to ensure effective communication.
- Manage and develop opportunities and working relationships with assigned accounts for activations, events and consumer and trade engagement activity on the retail and community levels.
- Collaborate with local team and retail partners to drive sales, in-market account planning and activation, and commercial target delivery.
- Build and Manage Retail Education programs regarding MariMed’s products and overall industry.
- Work closely with MA Sales Director and Sales Reps to achieve program objectives related to focus, performance and reach.
- Achieve all program goals and metrics as outlined. Leverage available channels to drive market goals.
- Identify areas of opportunity, provide constructive feedback and make recommendations for improvement and growth.
- Ability to interact with a diverse consumer audience, clients and agency personnel.

- Complete regular market visits within the assigned territory. Must be available nights, weekends and during regular business hours for in-market administrative tasks, meetings, field audits, consumer engagement activity, events and training.

Responsibilities - Event Management/Trade Engagement

- Support marketing and sales teams with account trainings and trade events.
- Manage POS inventory and maintenance, ensure product is on-site for events, attend and audit events.
- Provide on-site management, oversight and support of employees during all types of consumer engagement activity including audits, training, and coaching.
- Conduct consumer engagement activities as required and scheduled by headquarters.
- Manage the activation of scheduled festivals, tours, and other off-site events; assist with the setup and breakdown of event materials and production elements, including tents.
Responsibilities - Development/Coaching

- Educate trade, brand, and distributor/broker partners on benefits of all MariMed brands.
- Understand state laws and activate national brand programming accordingly.
- Manage, train, coach, supervise, and provide ongoing training to a team of seasonal/part-time employees.
- Manage higher management and submit required documentation as requested in a timely manner.
- Make recommendations for next steps associated with the employee development and/or discipline.
Responsibilities - Reporting

- Analyze weekly and monthly reports to effectively schedule upcoming consumer engagement activity, activations and events.
- Ensure all territory deliverables/assignments are completed on time and accurately from state managers. Review all paperwork including POS inventory, payroll, time tracking and other assignments prior to submittal. Effective time management and attention to detail is required.
- Capture and record information for daily, weekly and monthly paperwork, calls and meetings including asset reconciliation, consumer insights, data capturing, photos of event activities, receipts, payroll, inventories and other required paperwork.
- Ensure all business-related expenses are reported on time and accurately, including submittal of invoices and receipts, monthly expense reports and purchase order requests.
- Possess basic mathematics skills to manage budgets and balance assigned assets and inventories.
Qualifications

- College degree preferred or equivalent in relevant work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in a related field marketing management role.
- A thorough understanding of consumer and trade marketing brand strategies.
- Knowledge of local on- and off-premise cannabis market, including local laws and statutes.
- Negotiation skills and cold-calling experience, specifically as it relates to events and venue access.
- Strong budget management skills with previous budget management and oversight experience.
- Ability to gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of target consumer Strong public speaking skills.
- Compliance with all standard safety requirements and guidelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense, and resourcefulness.

- Ability to travel out of market overnight multiple times throughout the year. Travel up to 30%.

Acting as a liaison for our customers, the IT Technician fields customer inquiries and works directly with our team members to resolve any issues.
