Maintenance Level 1 Technician

VIBE Cannabis ("the Company") is currently seeking a Maintenance Level 1 Technician for its facility located in St. Louis, MO; a brand-new medical market just launched in October 2020. VIBE will operate cultivation and manufacturing facilities in MO and is planning further local and domestic expansion.
Position Summary/Objective
VIBE Cannabis is seeking a hands-on, motivated individual for the role of Maintenance Level 1 Technician. This position is responsible for facility, equipment, and building operations helping to ensure good working order and compliance with all government regulations. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Director to ensure upkeep of the facility, through performing a variety of maintenance functions in and around the facility which includes providing routine scheduled maintenance an on-demand maintenance to the building and associated equipment. The Maintenance Level 1 Technician will perform manual tasks, preventive maintenance and maintain facility in top condition while assisting others on the team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily oversight of all mechanical equipment.
- Monitor common areas of the facility keeping them safe and clean from construction debris, garbage and waste inside the facility, yard, and parking lots
- Conduct building tours, maintain equipment logs, and report deficiencies for corrective action to the facilities manager
- Execute preventative maintenance
- Escort third party contractors as facility liaison
- Utilize, maintain and repair power tools and mobile equipment
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Monitor and service ventilation equipment including inspection or repair of all AC units and dehumidifiers through the facility.
- Inspection of facilities and equipment to ensure company standards and safety regulations are being maintained.
- Maintain a professional, safe, and clean environment, and follow all site standards and health and safety rules and regulations
- Take instructions and assist with tasks delegated by the management
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and service requests
- Maintain general facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary
- Reports damages, defects, and other issues to the Director or Maintenance
- Assists with the operation and management of sanitation areas when needed.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a competent Tissue Culture Lab Supervisor to organize and oversee all micropropagation for our company. This Lab Supervisor is responsible for delegating, coordinating, guiding, and motivating Lab Technicians, to achieve target quantity and quality for in vitro plants. Position Summary/Objective
The Security Manager will work with the CEO and COO to provide strategic leadership, management, direction and support to the company's security operations and team members. The right candidate will have both proven experience with security protocols and procedures, and a proven track record for leading and managing teams.
We are looking for a competent Security Manager to organize and oversee all security operations of our company. Security personnel will be under your command while you develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards that align with company policy and state mandated regulations.
As security manager, you will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. Since you will have a number of people under your responsibility, you must also exhibit leadership skills.

- Notify DHSS within twenty four (24) hours after any incident of theft or attempted theft of medical marijuana.
- Maintain and update Company Security Log; to include: each malfunction and repair to security system and all communications with DHSS relating to security matters
- Conduct weekly audits of Company security measures to ensure compliance with State regulations
- Train employees on security measures, emergency response and theft prevention and response.
- Evaluate the credentials of contractors who intend to provide services to the facility before the contractor is hired by or enters into contract with the facility.
- Evaluate the credentials of any third party who intends to provide security services to the facility before the third party is hired by or enters into contract with the facility.
- Ensure all Company and third party security agents adhere to Company SOPs
- Ensure all Company and third party security agents have completed the following training:
- Training in theft prevention or a related subject;
- Training in emergency response or a related subject;
- Training in the appropriate use of force or a related subject that covers when the use of force is and is not necessary;
- Training in the protection of a crime scene or a related subject;
- Training in the control of access to protected areas of a facility or a related subject;
- Not less than eight (8) hours of training at the facility in providing security services; and
- Not less than eight (8) hours of classroom training in providing security services.

- Work with the Director of Cultivation to report and notify the COO and CEO of any plant health issues threatening the viability of the product.
- Maintains all required paperwork and records, ensuring any assigned data forms and logs are accurately filled out and completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor assigned team members attendance, break schedules and performance. Notifies Director of Cultivation of any employee related issue.
- Documents employee performance and works with Director of Cultivation to schedule and conduct regular one on one check in with team members.

Position Summary/Objective
VIBE Cannabis is seeking a hands-on, motivated individual for the role of Maintenance Level 1 Technician. This position is responsible for facility, equipment, and building operations helping to ensure good working order and compliance with all government regulations. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Director to ensure upkeep of the facility, through performing a variety of maintenance functions in and around the facility which includes providing routine scheduled maintenance an on-demand maintenance to the building and associated equipment. The Maintenance Level 1 Technician will perform manual tasks, preventive maintenance and maintain facility in top condition while assisting others on the team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily oversight of all mechanical equipment.
- Monitor common areas of the facility keeping them safe and clean from construction debris, garbage and waste inside the facility, yard, and parking lots
- Conduct building tours, maintain equipment logs, and report deficiencies for corrective action to the facilities manager
- Execute preventative maintenance
- Escort third party contractors as facility liaison
- Utilize, maintain and repair power tools and mobile equipment
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Monitor and service ventilation equipment including inspection or repair of all AC units and dehumidifiers through the facility.
- Inspection of facilities and equipment to ensure company standards and safety regulations are being maintained.
- Maintain a professional, safe, and clean environment, and follow all site standards and health and safety rules and regulations
- Take instructions and assist with tasks delegated by the management
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and service requests
- Maintain general facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary
- Reports damages, defects, and other issues to the Director or Maintenance
- Assists with the operation and management of sanitation areas when needed.

The Solventless Extraction Manager will work with the Extraction Team on a variety of projects and tasks throughout multiple areas in the lab to ensure the best possible products for our patients. The right candidate will have both proven experience with solventless extraction, and a proven track record for leading and managing teams. You should have a strong desire to create the most innovative and best in class products in this rapidly changing and growing concentrate category.
You should possess a high level of technical expertise and application of solventless extraction methods. You will be responsible for managing projects, smaller technical teams, and continuous cross functional work across the organization to bring best in class solventless products to the patients of Missouri.
Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)
- Assist with purchasing of new and additional solventless extraction equipment
- Assist with training and development of solventless Extraction team
- Oversee day to day operations of solventless Extraction Team
- Ensure company procedures for all product lines are being met
- Work collaboratively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls, and procedures that improve the company's overall efficiency
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day operations to ensure no interruptions in production
- Work with the cultivation team to seamlessly integrate cannabis product into the facility for freezing, drying and processing.
- Review production and scheduling plan to ensure they align with the product demand forecast.
- Ensure site and State safety programs and initiatives are implemented and adhered to
- Oversight of inventory levels for critical manufacturing components and facilitate the flow of material from cultivation to manufacturing to lab testing to the packaging department.
- Set goals and provide guidance, direction, and performance management for direct reports.
- Lead training initiatives for team member development, including the development and challenging of SOPs for further betterment through real-world experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field or equivalent working experience in Cannabis extraction at a minimum of 5 years
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in solventless production is highly preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Prior, demonstrated experience developing the framework, executing internal testing, data collection, and analysis to drive best case business decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Position Summary/Objective
VIBE Cannabis is seeking a hands-on, motivated individual for the role of Maintenance Level 1 Technician. This position is responsible for facility, equipment, and building operations helping to ensure good working order and compliance with all government regulations. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Director to ensure upkeep of the facility, through performing a variety of maintenance functions in and around the facility which includes providing routine scheduled maintenance an on-demand maintenance to the building and associated equipment. The Maintenance Level 1 Technician will perform manual tasks, preventive maintenance and maintain facility in top condition while assisting others on the team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily oversight of all mechanical equipment.
- Monitor common areas of the facility keeping them safe and clean from construction debris, garbage and waste inside the facility, yard, and parking lots
- Conduct building tours, maintain equipment logs, and report deficiencies for corrective action to the facilities manager
- Execute preventative maintenance
- Escort third party contractors as facility liaison
- Utilize, maintain and repair power tools and mobile equipment
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Monitor and service ventilation equipment including inspection or repair of all AC units and dehumidifiers through the facility.
- Inspection of facilities and equipment to ensure company standards and safety regulations are being maintained.
- Maintain a professional, safe, and clean environment, and follow all site standards and health and safety rules and regulations
- Take instructions and assist with tasks delegated by the management
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and service requests
- Maintain general facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary
- Reports damages, defects, and other issues to the Director or Maintenance
- Assists with the operation and management of sanitation areas when needed.

Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- 2+ years of facility maintenance or general repair experience in Building Maintenance
- Basic knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building equipment
