Payroll Send reminders to Managers to have complete timesheet on payroll weeks. Job Summary
Responsible for greeting and facilitating customers in a cannabis retail setting. Follow proper registration procedures and collect accurate payment for goods. Maintain working knowledge of marijuana laws and communicates necessary rules and regulations to customers.
Job Duties

Position Summary
Joint Roller is responsible for inventory accountability of joints in compliance with pre-established inventory requests. Full Job Description
We are seeking smart/hardworking individuals who are passionate about growing cannabis. This position works directly beneath the Assistant Grower and Head Grower to help our crops flourish. Job Title: Trimmer
Reports to: Harvesting Manager

Supervisory Responsibility: None
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for manicuring wet or dry flower from stalk and break down plants to process/trim them to meet its Clients’ quality standards. Also responsible for tracking the batches that they trim including the final finished product, the usable by-product amount (trim), and the un-usable by-product (waste) according to company policy and practices, as well as state, local and MED laws and regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Breakdown flowers off off-stem and stalk of plant in order to separate unusable waste from useable product
- Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch.
- After breakdown of plant, employee must identify and separate fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves on the flower.
- Employee must account for each by-product type processed off the flower; adding stems and fan leaves to “waste” for proper tracking.
- Employee must exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
- Employee must be able to work well independently, as well as with others.
- Employee must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are trimming; adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.
- Time management; employee must manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.
- Employee must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their managers so they can help maintain quality standards and production goals.
- Employee must show up on time for work every day ready to work.

Job Specifications:
- Trim staff must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the organization
- Trim staff must have a basic understanding of Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state and the MED; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws is appreciated and commendable.
- Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to harvesting, drying, trimming and curing; initial focus on trimming with other areas being taught as the employee shows interest while still maintaining their capabilities as a trimmer.

Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience processing medical marijuana or other botanicals preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
- Marijuana Trimmer.
- This is NOT a grower/cultivation position or steppingstone to a position in the grow.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Team members are needed to defoliate marijuana flowers and trim the sugar leaf from the buds. Since we have several small to medium sized flowering rooms, rather than a few large flowering rooms, trim work at Healing Canna LLC is very consistent comparatively. However, trimmers workloads are determined by plant readiness and harvest times, and there are rare occurrences in which you may have a day, or even a few days off from your regular schedule because the harvest batches are not yet ready to trim. Whenever there is work that must be completed, we require that you are available during you regularly scheduled days / hours.
This position is not for someone who is simply seeking a "cool job". Working in the industry is very rewarding, however being a trimmer is a difficult position. It is repetitious work, you are in the same position for hours, and it requires someone with the characteristics required to fulfill the duties required of the position. Constant production is mandatory, and rooms must be harvested and trimmed in a time effective manner.
SHIFT DAYS & HOURS:
- Shifts are 8:30a-7:30p with a one-hour, unpaid lunch.
- Weekday shifts are Monday – Thursday
- Weekend shifts are Thursday-Sunday
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have valid MED Support (or Key) Badge.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for 10 hours per shift.
- Must have your OWN reliable transportation.
- Due to contamination and privacy protocols, we will not hire persons already working at another MMJ business.
- Team members will be required to sign an NDA and working at another MMJ business while working at Healing Canna LLC is not allowed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Remove large fan leaves by hand.
- Trim sugar leaves in a timely manner, taking care not to “nip” the buds.
- Collect your sugar trim for weighing at the end of your shift.
- Maintain tidy and organized work area and work tools.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- No previous experience is necessary.
PAY RATE:
- Starting rate is $13.50/hourly
- Tip-Share: Employees also receive a portion of our “Tip-Pool” which is usually an additional .60-.90 per hour.
- Minimum $1.00/hour increase after 1 year of employment.
- Compensation adjustments thereafter are determined with annual performance reviews.
