Processing Analytics Data Manager (CO, MI, & MD)

Purpose
The purpose of this position is to manage and direct the Processing Analytics department to provide analytical support for all processing facilities across Colorado, Michigan & Maryland. This role is responsible for interfacing on a weekly basis with managers and supervisors from the Extraction, Kitchen, Processing Packaging, Processing Compliance, R&D, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain departments to ensure that data tracking systems and reporting are generated, maintained, and revised to meet the needs of those departments. The Processing Analytics Manager is expected to direct the application of data to assist these departments in establishing weekly production targets, ensuring quality standards are maintained, creating/meeting KPIs, improving yields, and reducing costs. This position will manage Processing Analytics team members, establish team goals, set cross training schedules, and provide technical expertise in data analysis as well as the proper utilization of Google tracking systems, Smartsheet, Metrc, Counterpoint and NAV. The Processing Analytics Manager is expected to work with their counterparts in Pharmacann’s other states and cultivation facilities to maintain data and reporting standards and integrity company wide. The Processing Analytics Manager is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership Procedures and Tasks
- Manage employees including assigning and directing work, hiring and developing staff, setting regular cross training goals, rewarding and disciplining where appropriate, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.
- Monitor employee attendance, time off balances, time off requests, and all other attendance related processes.
- Perform annual employee reviews.
- Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity to ensure staff are available when needed to provide support to all teams working within Processing facilities across Colorado, Michigan & Maryland.

Compliance and Auditing
- Ensure all compliance requirements across all processing facilities are met including the facilitation of all local and state specific regulations and the accommodation of immediate adjustments to procedures as necessitated by the rapidly changing regulatory environment.
- Development, management, and implementation of Standard Operation Procedures and related training materials for the department.
- Oversee data collection of daily processing activities impacting trim, concentrate, edible, vape and topical inventories across all facilities and the accurate verification and reporting of data to internal systems and Metrc.
- Direct coordination with the Compliance department to ensure daily, weekly, and quarterly physical and digital audits are being performed to maintain accurate inventory levels and data integrity.
- Audit weekly production tracking reports for irregularities and coordinate with the appropriate teams to facilitate timely resolutions and ensure proper documentation. Refine data systems to provide efficient feedback loops alert users to frequently occurring errors before they are posted.
- Responsible for providing all necessary processing data for financial and regulatory audits as well as coordinating on site staff for audit preparation and execution across all Colorado, Michigan & Maryland processing facilities.
Data Systems, Production Planning and Reporting
- Maintain regular communication with the Extraction, Kitchen, Processing Packaging, Processing, Compliance, R&D, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain to ensure that data collection systems are built in a way that facilitates efficient workflow while maintaining necessary documentation, process integrity and appropriate inventory controls for cost tracking and compliance purposes.
- Responsible for overseeing the compilation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly production planning activities that ensure processing facilities in each state are operating on a unified production plan to meet the retail and/or wholesale demands of each state based on sales data. Production planning activities include but are not limited to creating extraction material goals for the Trim departments, setting weekly extraction production targets, creating SKU by SKU production targets for the Kitchen departments, establishing weekly packaging levels, and providing secondary oversight of distribution and wholesale par levels.
- Provide analytical support to all departments operating within Colorado, Michigan & Maryland Processing facilities to facilitate accurate data tracking and reporting on yield, quality standards, labor, cost, material use and any other KPIs those departments find relevant in order to properly manage their teams.
- Work with department managers to review proposed process changes to analyze efficiency gains and equipment ROIs as necessary.
- Ensure necessary production, material use and labor data is collected for the accurate construction of processing COGS.
- Work with Supply Chain / Marketing Departments to provide guidance on raw materials and packaging purchases based on production capabilities and sales forecasts.
- Analyze sales data to establish first party launch pars for new products.
- Responsible supporting Brand Management and Processing R&D in analyzing LivWell & Verilife Retail and Wholesale channels sales data as well as broader nationwide market data to identify opportunities for new product development.
- Coordinate with Retail, Marketing and Brand Management to conduct postmortem analysis on the effectiveness of promotion, performance of seasonal SKUS and assessment of continual production of existing SKUs.
Other Duties

Job Qualifications
Work Experience

Your Role
As a Customer Success Manager for the Fyllo Data Marketplace, you would be leading a roster of brand and agency clients through decoupled data activations. Summary:

What the role is
The Data Engineering Manager will lead the team that will accelerate building Lantern's real time event streaming infrastructure through a period of rapid growth. Leadership

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Data Manager, under the direction of the Director of Data Analytics, will be responsible for managing, manipulating, analyzing, and modeling data to support the Commission’s research agenda, licensing and compliance decisions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Integrates, cleans, and manipulates large datasets from varying data sources;
- Utilizes standard testing measures and/or algorithms to test and analyze large amounts of data;
- Designs and develops data collection measures, databases, and procedure manuals based on detailed knowledge of data files, related databases, and systems integration;
- Provides expertise in the design and implementation of data management strategies/techniques/ best practices and quality control procedures, including writing technical requirements and documentation of data sets;
- Supports the Chief of Investigations and Enforcement with analysis of energy use reporting from marijuana establishments; Collaborates with Commission staff as well as other state agencies and stakeholders to monitor and interpret data and assists in editing the quantitative components of written reports, white papers, briefs, and statistical graphics for research topics and projects.

The Data Manager, under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), will provide quantitative data analysis and be responsible for managing, manipulating, analyzing, and modeling data to support the Commission’s research agenda, licensing and compliance decisions.

The San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) is the largest Department within the City and County of San Francisco. With an annual operating budget of $2.4 billion, SFDPH employs over 8,000 people and contracts for more than $400 million in community-based services. Our mission is to protect and promote the health and well-being for all in San Francisco, and our vision is to make San Francisco the healthiest place on earth.
The SFDPH Population Health Division (PHD), which earned public health accreditation in 2017, carries out traditional and mandatory public health functions such as: consumer safety activities; health promotion and prevention; inspections of food, alcohol, and cannabis businesses; promote improved air and water quality; promote pedestrian safety; HIV prevention, research and surveillance; TB prevention and treatment; Emergency Medical Services; and analysis of community public health data. PHD will be elevating and integrating functions into a new Center for Data Science (CDS) that will unify existing information-gathering resources to allow SFDPH to make more effective data-driven public health decisions.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Under general direction of the of the County Health Officer, the 0922 Manager I - Director of the Center for Data Science will lead and grow a team of data scientists focused on Population Health Data Science-the transformation of data into actionable knowledge that informs, influences, or optimizes decision making to improve health. The Director will work directly with SFDPH executive leadership to tackle major public health challenges in San Francisco. The Center will support high-level decision-making, priority-setting, and resource allocation through the development of reports, dashboards, etc., for improved monitoring, tracking, and reporting for various stakeholders.
The Director will also be responsible for organizing trainings and developing partnerships with universities and the private sector to tackle complex data analysis and interpreting results from multiple sources using a variety of methods including, but not limited to, epidemiological and statistical analysis, health impact assessments, decision analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, and operations research.
The Director of the Center for Data Science will possess deep expertise in data science and is a collaborative leader who creatively inspires and supports executive leadership, internal teams and community partners in how data science can improve the population health. The incumbent will have a proven track record in developing, managing, and leading teams and delivering complex analytical and data science projects and products in the healthcare/public health. They should love working with data and people, have a coaching and mentoring mindset, possess a strong interest in the intersection of health and technology, have an ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and be incredibly customer-focused.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Minimum Qualifications
1. Experience: Three (3) years (equivalent to 6,000 hours) of professional experience leading teams and performing complex data analysis and interpreting results from multiple sources.
AND
2. Education: Possession of a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
One year of full-time employment is equivalent to 2,000 hours (2,000 hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40 hour work week). Any overtime hours that you work above 40 hours per week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible tracking sales.
- Ensure communication is happening among all interested parties regarding inventory movement and other items. * Ensuring limited access to premise inventory * Monitor inventory thresholds and communicate these to Senior Management * Follow inventory protocols for inventory management (intake, organization, recording data, & distribution) * Respond to customer inquiries with a superior level of customer service. * Prepare inventory distribution kits according to specifications
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements: * Prior experience in inventory control and/or supply chain management * Previous experience working in the cannabis industry and knowledge of metrc training preferred. * Able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends * Self-starter and very organized * Necessary computer operating skills; advanced MS Excel knowledge * Excellent communication skills, attention to detail * Minimum 21 years of age * Compensation: Hourly rate: $16-18 (Compensation commensurate with experience)
