Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities to pass accounts to Account Managers or Business Development team based on key metrics.
Support standardized renewals and present opportunities for upsells to Business Development team.
Onboard clients and support technical needs by partnering with Account Managers and other functions within the business.
Coordinate with internal resource leads to respond promptly and accurately to ad hoc client requests/issues.
Support Account Managers with meeting preparation for client check-ins and partnership reviews to ensure value alignment.
Provide support in building and executing client proposals, contracts, and other documentation.
Assist with the maintenance of all client and pipeline information in HubSpot and other sales/CRM platforms.
Support the creation of thought leadership and insights via BDSA's cannabis market data to engage clients and support them on an ongoing basis.
Become an expert in the Cannabis industry and an enthusiastic, knowledgeable ambassador for proprietary products to provide ongoing value and support to our client base, addressing both short term and long-term opportunities and challenges.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong phone/video/in-person presence, interpersonal and persuasion skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate with diverse individuals or groups.

Prior knowledge of the cannabis industry is NOT a requirement, but interest in learning the industry inside and out is a must.
Salary Range: $45,000 – $55,000

Job Summary: The Product team empowers BDSA through the development of syndicated market research products based on scan data. As a Data Scientist, you will work on a highly complex client-facing system providing insights to diverse user groups including innovation, marketing, sales, and strategy. Day-to-day activities will include development and refinement of projection algorithms, QC/QA systems support, and input to the product roadmap based on client needs and available data streams.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Create and deploy data projection models to drive both customer-facing and internal decisions.
- Execute and evaluate appropriate analyses (cluster analysis, logistic/linear regression, lift, etc.) given an array of tactical and strategic objectives.
- Utilize statistical and data visualization packages to develop innovative approaches to complex business problems.
- Extracts, analyzes, identifies, and assesses qualitative or quantitative patterns, trends, and other relationships from large amounts of data.
- Responsible for the maintenance and management of data assets.
- Interfaces with data end-users and the data storage/management architecture team to ensure that systems meet business needs.
- Develops and executes standard or custom queries or reports to retrieve data as required.
- Streamline existing processes to ensure the highest data quality while minimizing rework and increasing efficiency.
- Define data needs and external sources; validate, import, curate, and manage data for analytic and discovery projects.
- Interface closely with technology partners to manage analytical environment, acquire data sets, and develop production applications.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop deep client relationships and build trust with managerial and executive staff
- Lead demo and training conversations with senior client staff
- Develop a rapport as a consultative partner. This includes customer needs assessment, communicating value, ensuring engagement, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Deliver revenue growth through account renewals, communicating new product offerings, and adding on services to existing accounts
- Develop deep industry insight and expertise within the cannabis market; become an expert in the industry and provide ongoing value and support to client base, addressing both short term and long-term opportunities and challenges
- Cultivate an understanding of clients' business and business needs through direct communication and coordinate across multiple divisions within the company to address those needs
- Use strong analytical acumen to interpret data to tell a story or illustrate insights for clients
- Facilitate client onboardings and day-to-day client requests and needs
- Ensure overall client satisfaction by working with multiple groups to ensure data, reports, products and services are best aligned to client needs
- Build and execute client proposals, contracts and other documentation
- Build and maintain all client and pipeline information in our CRM platform
- Prioritize conflicting client requests and company tasks

Job-related Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a communication, business, science/tech field, or equivalent experience. Military service may substitute for education requirements
- 4+ years in an Account Management, Sales, Client Services, Customer Success, or similar role
Additional Experience Considered:
- Proven track record managing accounts and/or clients in one of the following or similar industries: CPG, Retail, Food & Bev, Alcohol, Tobacco, Cannabis, Financial Services, Software, Pharma
- Prior analysis and/or implementation of consumer or retail insights data
- Prior knowledge of the cannabis industry is NOT a requirement, but interest in learning the industry inside and out is a must

- 5+ years of marketing leadership experience
