POSITION: Compliance & Data Systems Manager
REPORTS TO: Chief Administrative Officer
The Compliance Manger will be first and foremost responsible for keeping a full chain of custody of the medical cannabis from seed through sale for quality control purposes and to ensure compliance with state regulations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the compliance team in maintaining both paper & electronic records documenting every stage in the process of production; including but not limited to
plant room inventories, plant batch records, extraction processing forms, extraction batch records, product travelers, lab collection reports, finished goods inventory, cost analysis data & quarantine records.
- Trains, manages, and oversees the primary functions of all employees in the Compliance and Data System departments, including data entry, nightly inventory reconciliation, weekly physical inventories, batch record maintenance & product labeling.
- Maintains an organized inventory of all plants, cannabis material, and final products, complete with proper storage and labeling.
- Knowledgeable in all regulations affecting the Compliance and Data Systems departments, including CT MMP regulations, CFR-111 regulations, OSHA regulations and DEEP regulations.
- Assists Executive Management during audits and provides reports as requested.
- Maintains and continually strives to improve the company?s ability to collect, archive and use data in a form that (1) minimizes human error and (2) enables quick and detailed reporting.
- Highly knowledgeable in excel, with the ability to utilize queries and write/edit macros.
- Knowledgeable in current seed-to-sale software and hardware, with the ability to troubleshoot as needed.
- Assists with OSHA & DEEP compliance.
- Maintains SDS sheet binder, Hazchem inventory, Hazcom Plan, Respirator Program and training logs for all employees in cooperation with each department manager.
- Ensures that all chemicals and substances used throughout the facility have proper warning labels and are being used/disposed of properly.
- Help construct, edit, and enforce SOPs as they relate to Compliance and Data Systems.

- Create a new hire orientation presentation to outline key company policies and procedures
- Demonstrate and mentor in the commitment to staff learning and development
Human Resources responsibilities:
- Keep all Company Org Charts updated
- Create employee personnel, electronic, and benefit files
- Conduct new hire orientation for all new hires
- Enter and review all CORI/Background screenings as well as enter employees in for CCC Agent Registration badges
- Support recruiting efforts including completing telephone pre-screens
- Assist the HR Manager in HCM system module implementations and rollouts
- Help Management and Employees with navigation and utilization of company HCM system
- Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries at current and future sites
- Work with Human Resources Manager on all benefit related matters including open enrollment and new hire enrollment
- Gather HR documents needed from employees and work to regularly document all HR related matters in a timely and confidential manner
- Other duties and special projects as assigned

Full Job Description
Position: Produce the highest quality in pre-rolled products. Consistently screen/manufacture material and pre-rolls while accurately recording product weights/counts. Work with the Supervisor to learn and apply NETAs quality standards and compliance guidelines while creating pre-rolled regular and wax infused joints. Work through all aspects of the pre-roll production process and gain skill in grinding, rolling, twisting and qc of all products.
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr
Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm -11:30pm
Authority and Supervision:
- Report directly to the Supervisor(s) and Manager of Flower Processing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow NETA Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations;
- Work closely with Joint Team Members to produce the highest quality joints in a timely manner
- Accurately grind, screen, weigh and label pre-roll material
- Accurately manufacture, seal/twist, package, label, and count pre-rolled joints
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in packaging of MIP products, filling out ledgers, and securely packing units of final products
- Ensures accurate counts of all MIP products during all phases of project
- Review final pre-roll products to assist in production quality control
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; replace and maintain HEPA filters in hood and floor units
- Use standards to assess the quality of products as they are being produced
- Maintains time and attendance and all other conduct related requirements at all times
- Cleans and maintains equipment (as necessary), ensuring functional equipment and work area at all times

Qualifications and Skills:
- Age 21 or over (Required)
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in packaging, labeling or detailed assembly line work preferred
- Ability to focus and be task oriented
- Ability to work as a team member, be organized and have extreme attention to detail
Physical Capability: Indoor growing/Clean Room environment. Requires the ability to sit or stand for 10 hours per day, and requires consistent hand eye coordination and excellent hand dexterity. Must be able to bend, lift and stoop continuously. Ability to lift 30 lbs. unassisted and 50 lbs. assisted.
