Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Build strong client relationships and trust with influencers and key decision makers.
- Develop a rapport as a consultative partner. This includes customer needs assessment, communicating value, ensuring engagement, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Deliver revenue growth through account renewals and adding on services to existing accounts.
- Lead cross-functional client demo and training conversations, facilitate client onboarding, drive usage of our tools and services, and coordinate with internal SME's to respond promptly and accurately to ad hoc client requests/issues.
- Lead regular client check-ins and partnership reviews to ensure value alignment and identify risk and opportunity.
- Become an expert in the Cannabis industry and an enthusiastic, knowledgeable ambassador for proprietary products to provide ongoing value and support to our client base, addressing both short term and long-term opportunities and challenges.
- Build and execute client proposals, contracts, and other documentation.
- Build and maintain all client and pipeline information in HubSpot and other sales/CRM platforms.

Job Summary: The Analytics team empowers BDSA through the development of syndicated market research products based on various datasets. As a Junior Data Scientist, you will work on highly complex projects supporting the Product and Professional Services teams with data wrangling, data cleaning, and data reporting tools and techniques.

Job Summary: The Technology team is responsible for the technology and data infrastructure that enables the fulfillment of BDSA’s client agreements. This position plays an integral role linking clients and partners with BDSA’s technology team to facilitate data transfers, troubleshoot access to systems, and otherwise bridge the gap between organizations. The Client Success Technical Specialist is responsible for setting up data sharing partners within the BDSA data management platform once a partnership contract is signed. Once a partner is setup the Technical Specialist will transition the relationship to the Account Management team for ongoing management until or if additional technical configuration work is needed. The ideal candidate is self-starting, positive, and well-organized.
Day-to-day tasks will largely relate to establishing and maintaining data transfer connections across a variety of methods including APIs, file transfers, and manual reporting. The position involves extensive interaction with clients and requires a high degree of interpersonal communication with both BDSA staff and client personnel.

- Walk clients and partners through BDSA’s data sharing procedures
- Troubleshoot data sharing connection issues and challenges including but not limited to firewall permissions, API keys, login credentials, and related security configurations

- Responsible for the maintenance and management of data assets.
- Interfaces with data end-users and the data storage/management architecture team to ensure that systems meet business needs.
- Develops and executes standard or custom queries or reports to retrieve data as required.
- Streamline existing processes to ensure the highest data quality while minimizing rework and increasing efficiency.
- Define data needs and external sources; validate, import, curate, and manage data for analytic and discovery projects.
- Interface closely with technology partners to manage analytical environment, acquire data sets, and develop production applications.

Required Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications:
- Degree in data science, statistics, economics, or a similar field with at least five years’ work experience preferred (experience may be substituted for educational requirements).
- Experience working with scan data.
- Experience working in CPG or a similar industry (e.g., BevAl).
- Experience analyzing and solving CPG-focused challenges including but not limited to: innovation planning, pricing elasticity, forecasting, projections, assortment, etc.
- Ability to digest business problems and translate needs into a data-centric context.
- Self-starter attitude with willingness to learn and master new technologies and analytical techniques.
- Flexibility to work both independently and within a team.
- Creativity in the face of constraint; “I can solve this” mentality.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization software, such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
Preferred:
- Experience processing and manipulating POS, unstructured, text, and survey data.
- Experience developing and validating market research models.
- Experience in the cannabis industry.
