You have inventory management experience and are comfortable improving descriptions and imagery, and uncovering and advocating for catalog improvements to drive optimal consumer shopping experiences. Potentially, you have managed a dispensary website to ensure that the shopping experience online is aligned with what a consumer would expect from an optimal in-store experience.

What the role is
This role is a part-time contractor position and will support Lantern's catalog team as we continue to onboard retailers in different states and grow our online menus. This role will help to ensure that all new products on the site have the information consumers need to make informed purchasing decisions. The person in this role will leverage their cannabis experience to create online menus, link new products, and categorize information across our site. This remote role requires 15-20 hours per week.
In this role you will:
- Strengthen Lantern's product data and catalog.
- Manage the retail inventory feeds, obtaining product information including product names, descriptions, and imagery
- Perform quality assurance processes on our online product catalog

You are currently at the intersection of data science and analytics, and you want to dive even deeper into both worlds. You have the operational ability to improve Lantern's current product and marketing automations, CRM workflow inefficiencies, consumer recommendation systems, and championing our product vision to build Lantern's roadmap of personalization. You have the empathy to understand our business from the eyes of a consumer, and you have the results driven mindset to drive improvements to Lantern's experience that move the bottom line. You have 3+ years experience with a technical toolset that mirrors a seasoned data scientist (Complex SQL, Python, Scikit, Git, visualization tools, etc).
You love working with teams including Data Engineering and Business Intelligence to transform raw data into highly actionable business insights through Tableau, as well as partnering with marketing and product teams to turn those insights into action. You also know how to work the other direction - how to implement and manage initiatives to ensure that data collection is seamless and comprehensive. You have a proven track record designing, implementing, and measuring solutions in the analytics space, and you have lead projects that have delivered results.
Are you coming from a consumer-facing ecommerce marketplace? That's great! We deal with massive amounts of eventstream data from a variety of internal and external sources.
Have you also delivered event streaming solutions? Even better! What the role is:
We are looking for someone to build the future of customer personalization at Lantern. This person will support and optimize existing automations, and partner with product and marketing to drive meaningful personalization. They will create touchpoints that differentiate the Lantern shopping experience across web, mobile web + app, email, push, and more.
The Data Scientist is a critical member of the Analytics organization, and will work closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing. They will certainly be responsible for supporting individual campaigns and product solutions, but also_ for the larger vision of how a data science architecture, codebase, and best practices should grow with Lantern over time_. Ultimately, this person will determine the ground truth, roadmap, and reporting lens through which Lantern will be enabled to deliver memorable and relevant experiences for our customers.
In this role you will:
- Partner with product and marketing to drive personalization at scale across the product and notification layer, across Lantern's consumer apps, websites, email, push, and more
- Develop and execute product and marketing process improvements through a complete lifecycle of experimental design, testing, measurement, and implementation

You are an experienced Product Manager with a strong technical background in managing technical products and/or platforms. You are also experienced in managing products related to e-commerce, marketplace, software or any digital product or service. What the role is
In the Sr. Product Manager role you will take a lead role in identifying, scoping, sizing opportunities, and building out requirements that solve problems and drive and measure our effectiveness with our core tech stack. In this crucial role, your time will be focused on managing the engineering efforts for a team focused on Data Engineering. Your responsibilities span, but are not limited to: directing day-to-day efforts, managing new/existing projects, and driving mission-critical projects to a successful outcome. You have gained experience standing up infrastructure systems, utilizing AWS, highly advanced software development skills, and gained experience in Big Data streaming technologies such as Kafka, Flink, or Spark, but we are flexible on your specific experience; we care more about general engineering acumen than any specific tech. You have a true passion for leading, mentoring, performance monitoring, managing scope, reviewing code, and working closely with others to plan out architectural & technical decisions. You still have a passion for active contribution to projects. You have an eye for good testing and strive to ship quality code.

What the role is
The Data Engineering Manager will lead the team that will accelerate building Lantern's real time event streaming infrastructure through a period of rapid growth. From helping set the technical direction while building a strong and forward-thinking team of engineers, to managing and developing the backlogs and roadmaps for event streaming infrastructure and tooling, this person will work with teams to develop and refine SLO/SLI for event stream applications.
You will be a critical member of our small engineering organization, you will split your time between being an individual contributor, managing, team building, and maintaining our data ecosystem. You will also perform administrative functions for the data engineering team, including 1:1 discussions with direct reports, conduct performance reviews for the team, provide team velocity reports to leadership, report on roadmap progress and timelines.

You are a highly motivated self-starter with 3+ years of technical SEO experience at a consumer-facing ecommerce company or digital marketing agency and are considered an "expert" by your peers. You have experience creating, executing, testing, and analyzing, technical and content strategies for optimizing websites for search engines. You have the ability to execute and drive measurable results, fluency with complex data, highly effective communication skills and a passion for creating positive user experiences. The People Ops Generalist role is core to our People Ops Team, and responsible for a wide variety of tasks and programs including creating roles and managing our recruiting process in collaboration with hiring managers, supporting Lantern employee engagement, maintaining people systems and helping plan company wide and team level events.

In this account manager role you will be an integral part of the operations team, responsible for supporting dispensaries and couriers that work with Lantern, and for keeping a pulse on dispensary and marketplace metrics.
