We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve exciting new beverages to our customers. The bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and serve beverages. You will also upsell items, utilize proper equipment, and handle basic cleaning duties.
To succeed as a bartender, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable about our products, and personable. Their duties and responsibilities include:
- Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders
- Informing customers about new beverages and specials, and serving beverages to customers

This unique position is an integral part of our West Town Bakery Wheeling location. Directly responsible for rotating duties behind the bakery counter to include basic barista skills, tap and bottle service of coffees and alcoholic beverages. The Responsibilities
- Conduct sales and customer service through maintaining a properly stocked, organized, uncluttered, safe, and inviting store environment

- Staying up-to-date with new products, strains, changes in law, and industry trends in order to provide the highest level of customer service
- Educate patients about a variety of cannabis products including flower, edibles, and concentrates, providing information on cannabis products based on patient needs/requests
- Advising patients on proper safety measures to follow when consuming cannabis
- Maintain and use completely and accurately (POS) and METRC systems for all in-store, online, and phone orders
- Handle completely and accurately cash and discount application
- Verify proper paperwork, documentation and ID of all customers
- Maintaining proper patient information and records
- Verifying proper identification and paperwork from patients
- Weighing and packaging products as needed
The Qualifications
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude, team-oriented and disciplined work ethic
- Detail-oriented; able to stay organized and on task in a fast-paced environment
- Previous retail cannabis experience strongly preferred
- Experience handling cash transactions and maintaining a balanced drawer
- Ability to perform to sales goals and team goals
- 3+ years of experience in a retail environment
- 2+ years of cannabis retail experience preferred
- High School Diploma

- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass any and all required background checks

Our BudTenders play a vital role in delivering customer service by offering a distinctive shopping experience that drives sales results. The BudTender is primarily responsible for providing assistance to patrons and patients through concierge-level service, assuring anyone who visits the store leaves satisfied. Individual responsibilities as an Associate includes; demonstrating outstanding customer service, sales skills, assisting with keeping the sales floor stocked with merchandise and/or organizing the sales floor and stock areas. The BudTend will also conduct day-to-day operations provided by Management within the retail location while adhering to company policy and industry regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding, accurate customer service to patrons by answering or appropriately directing questions and concerns
- Lead tours of sales floor within the store, making product recommendations based on ongoing research of strains, cannabinoids and vendor-produced products available
- Maintain knowledge of all cannabis strain profiles, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls and accessories for sale in the dispensary, utilizing knowledge of how cannabinoid profiles and potency affect the body

- Understand the Royal Highness exchange policy for; accessories, manufacturer warranties, and how to facilitate guest merchandise returns to Management
- Abide by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing
- Answer phones with scripted greeting, provide customer service, and accept all call-ahead orders
- Accurately record phone and online orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Confirm accuracy of order displayed in POS (correct product, quantity and/or weight, RFID, Pricing, etc.)
- Verify correct use of MED-required packaging and labeling according to Royal Highness store policy
- Operate cash register by using computer-based POS system and cash drawer to process transactions, ensuring patrons and patients leave with labeled product inside of a state regulated exit bag with correct change and a receipt
- Adhere to security protocol and promote safety for patrons, patients and other Team Members
- Work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction and that compliance goals are met by designated timelines
- Fill all time during scheduled shifts with productivity, useful activity, including cleaning, stocking, researching, organizing or completing any other tasks to contribute to company success
- Adhere to all company uniform policy and preserve all provided necessary equipment
- Uphold personal hygiene to ensure safe interaction with patients, product and other Team Members

Doctor's Orders is a licensed medical and recreational dispensary in NE Portland that has been operating since 2015. ROLE:
It is the primary responsibility of the Bartender to greet guests, mix and serve drinks and maintain the cleanliness of the bar. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide high quality service to customers
- Adhere to all local and national liquor laws
- Mix and serve drinks following set standard recipes for wine, beer and crafted cocktails
- Greet guests in a timely manner and take orders
- Making drinks in a quick and efficient manner
- POS knowledge and process cash and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
- Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
- Maintaining inventory and inventory control of bar supplies
- Knowledge of all Food and Beverage menus, specials, and Property details
- Responsible for all opening and closing procedures and cleanliness of bar areas
- Check customersâ identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age
- Knowledge of all gaming devices, and policy
- Must have all work cards on their person at all times
- As a bartender and professional server of alcohol you must make an effort to ensure safety to your guests. First take the steps to prevent underage drinking, and second consumption to prevent intoxicated guests. Escalate any concerns of underage drinking and intoxicated guest to management and security.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Ability to problem solve and think critically
- Ability to multitask like an octopus working a switchboard
- Ability to stay highly organized and efficient in a fast-paced, rigorous work environment
- Familiar with MailChimp and fully proficient in running and analyzing email marketing campaigns and performance.
- Proficient in Instagram and content creation for social media.
- Familiar with cannabis regulations and social media rules regarding allowable content on networks.
- Track engagement and create effective marketing campaigns for daily and weekly initiatives.
- Create social media content and day-to-day promotional materials for the dispensary.
- Comfortable engaging with users on social platforms to reinforce brand values, identity, and customer support.
- Experience within Excel, and other office software (such as Google Docs), and Apple environments
- Proactive approach. We like creative people and creative solutions. No idea is too crazy.
- Good copywriting and copyediting skills.
- Decent knowledge of photography and photo editing.
- Strong understanding of trends, lifestyle and neat things in the universe
- You are detail-oriented and organized
- You want to have an impact and feel passionate about the work that you do
- You are driven and hungry for success, and always want to learn more
- You are a team player and enjoy collaboration
- You have a min of 2-4 years of experience with both new technology and digital platforms such as:
- MailChimp
- Lightroom

- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
- SnapChat

Mixologist/Bartender Needed for On Camera Branded Content (gig)

Evergreen Herbal is looking for an engaging and experienced mixologist with extensive knowledge in the history of classic cocktails.

Weâre in search of an outgoing personality to help us film 25 brief âhow toâ videos creating classic cocktails and mocktails utilizing our cannabis infused beverages. These videos are meant to be informative and engaging for our adult (21+) audience. The ideal candidate will have an existing social media presence via Instagram/TikTok/Twitter and is familiar with the video style of those platforms. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced bartender/mixologist who is looking to expand into new categories of the beverage industry and increase their social media following.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team in creating a menu incorporating each of our beverages into a classic cocktail or mocktail
- Mix cocktails on camera for 25 âhow-toâ videos (1min each) explaining how to mix/garnish each beverage, while sharing anecdotal information on the history of the cocktail/ingredients.
Filming will take place on site and will last approximately 5 hours, with some additional time required in advance for menu preparation and R&D.
Compensation:
- $100/hour for filming (apx. 5 hours of filming)
- $500 to compensate for: prep time required to build cocktail/mocktail menu complete with ingredient list, research and development of cocktails and beverage pairings along with two team calls to review outline of menu and shooting schedule
All media and content filmed will be owned by Evergreen Herbal and used as branded content across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube along with other various media channels and printed materials.

Well established Gaming and Live Music Lounge looking for Bartenders with Gaming knowledge and background. A candidate with a current gamer following is a big plus.
