Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Dispensary Lead Associate is responsible for all Dispensary Associate duties and responsibilities including interacting with, educating, and advising patients face-to-face and by phone, record-keeping, assisting with inventory and cash management as well as interacting with local service providers. Summary/Objective:
The Dispensary Lead, reporting directly to the Retail General Manager, is responsible for assisting in managing all daily operations of the dispensary, leading a patient-centric team and achieving Company standards of professionalism and compassionate patient service. JOB SUMMARY
Lead Patient Care Associates (LCPA) are responsible for assessing the needs of our patients and educating/guiding them in selecting the appropriate cannabis products to meet their needs. They embody the "patients first" approach, while ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction through excellent service. A successful LPCA will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals, provide excellent product suggestions and guidance, and exceed the patient's expectations. LPCA's are expected to inspire patient confidence in Terrabis and assist in creating long-term loyalty to our brand. The Lead Patient Care Associate is responsible for patient and caregiver orientation, data, paperwork, and upkeep. They must maintain accurate records of patient and caregiver identification and registration documents, manage customer traffic flow, and respond to customer and caregiver inquiries. The LPCA must record, arrange, and package patient and caregiver orders. The Lead Patient Care Associate must maintain a professional appearance, organized work environment and facility appearance. In addition to the duties listed, the LPCA will work with direction from the General Manager to provide in-store training to new Patient Care Associates and support an atmosphere that foster's learning.

Salary: $16/hour to start and $17/hour after 90 day introduction period.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains strict inventory controls to ensure full, comprehensive regulatory compliance across all dispensary operations.
- Ensure POS stations are ready to go at store opening.
- Always maintain fully stocked and clean POS stations.
- Ensure PCA opening and closing checklists are completed in a timely manner.
- Participate in periodic staff meetings.
- Always maintain proper cash handling procedures.
- Ensure all patients are greeted as they arrive and wished farewell at their departure.
- Ensure all patients always receive excellent customer service, in every interaction.
- Inform management and supervisors of any low-stock product or other inventory issues.
- Have a comprehensive knowledgeable of all products, of the cannabis industry, and of any relevant cannabis-related subject matter.
- Be knowledgeable of all specials or promotions, including in-store weekly/daily deals.
- Participate in staff events, outings, and promotional events.
- Be active on company social media (sharing, liking, and posting all content shared on Terrabis social media accounts).
- Read industry publications to keep up to date on current / future trends in the industry.
- Ensure each patient receives your full attention during the entire interaction.
- Provide in-store new hire training to incoming Patient Care Associates with direction from the Training Manager.
- Act as a mentor/buddy to the new Patient Care Associate as needed.
- Answer questions from new hires and provide reliable and accurate information.
- Support an atmosphere that foster's learning.
- Always keep all personal items off the sales floor.
- Ensure you are early or on-time for all shifts and any mandatory events or meetings.
- Ensure your uniform is clean and that you are prepared for your scheduled shift.
- Assist with running side work, stocking, and cleaning, patient areas, breakroom, patient/employee restrooms, disposing of trash and sanitizing work/common spaces during all downtime.
- Perform other duties or projects, as assigned by managers.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills.
- Previous experience with POS systems.
- Previous training experience a huge plus.
- Desire to continuously learn (more) about cannabis, cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system, and cannabis therapies - previous knowledge a HUGE plus!
- Ability to listen well and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with various audiences.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email.
- Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures.

- Must pass all required background checks.
- Possess valid driver's license or state ID.
- Remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or down.

- Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to Patients clearly and effectively.
- Ring up sales on Point of Sale System and process cash transactions.
- Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
- Set up and break down display cases daily. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.
- Facilitate the new membership and Patient renewal processes.
- Perform data entry and manage the Patient database.

- Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to Patients clearly and effectively.
- Ring up sales on Point of Sale System and process cash transactions.
- Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
- Set up and break down display cases daily. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.
- Facilitate the new membership and Patient renewal processes.
- Perform data entry and manage the Patient database.

Role Overview
We are looking for a customer service-oriented and operationally driven candidate to serve as a keyholder and Agent-In-Charge at our recreational dispensary. The Lead Dispensary Associate will help to support management initiatives by driving sales, promoting a culture of unparalleled customer service, and supporting operations in both front and back of house. Responsibilities include supporting daily opening and closing activities, accurately receiving and booking deliveries, coaching the team on best practices, and handling the daily ebb and flow of all store related matters while adhering to strict state guidelines and regulations.

Role Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager in all store initiatives
- Learn the ins and outs of the point of sale system
- Review and assist in receiving all deliveries with diligence and accuracy and in accordance with company and state regulations

- Support and motivate the team in achieving daily, weekly and monthly sales goals

- Support efforts to maintain records for all necessary documents: delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and monthly inventory counts, necessary customer information, log books, inventory adjustments, and destruction reports
- Ability to manage time and respect protocol under fast-paced retail conditions is a must
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed or warranted, by management
- Frequently lifting, moving, carrying store inventory, weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasionally ascending/descending ladders or stairs.

- Must be at least 21 years of age

- Experience in a leadership or keyholder position for 2+ years preferred
- 2+ years experience in cash handling required

- Recommend, select and help locate the proper medicine for Patients depending on their individual needs and Physician Certification.
- Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to Patients clearly and effectively.
- Ring up sales on Point of Sale System and process cash transactions.
- Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
- Set up and break down display cases daily. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.
- Facilitate the new membership and Patient renewal processes.
- Perform data entry and manage the Patient database.
- Dispensing medical cannabis in Medical Marijuana Use Registry.
- Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
- Book appointments for Patients for services they request.
- Maintain a current stock of Educational materials, new patient folders etc.
- Frequently maintain dispensary's cleanliness, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization.
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other related work as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Lead Dispensary Associate is responsible for all Dispensary Associate duties and responsibilities including interacting with, educating, and advising patients face-to-face and by phone, record-keeping, assisting with inventory and cash management as well as interacting with local service providers. The Lead Dispensary Associate will be cross-trained in all order fulfillment activities which includes preparing orders, entering product information, calling patients with product requests and admitting patients when the Security Guard is otherwise occupied.
Responsibilities
- Greets members in person or on the phone; schedules appointments; oversees member intake and renewal procedures
- Maintains member records in compliance with State law and Company policy
- Answers questions about the law and the Company from members and others
- Assists members in selecting medicine; advises and educates them about safe dosage and other aspects of this medicine
- Assists the Dispensary Manager with inventory and cash management, daily and weekly
- Maintains a clean, safe, welcoming environment inside and outside the facility
- Other duties may be assigned by the Dispensary Manager according to Company needs
Basic Qualifications:
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years post-secondary education in a related field preferred
- 2+ years' experience in a fast-paced client-service intensive industry – hospitality and retail backgrounds preferred
- State mandated background check
Additional Qualifications:
- Computer & equipment operations necessary for running an office/retail center (POS systems; Word; Excel; office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)
- Familiarity with history and varieties of medical marijuana preferred but not required

Responsibilities

- Abides by standard operating procedures for receiving and stocking both cannabis product and non-cannabis product
- In conjunction with the Dispensary Manager, disposes of product in alignment with state regulations
- Exemplifies customer service and trains employees on how to ensure the best possible customer experience

- Maintains a clean, safe, welcoming environment inside and outside the facility

Basic Qualifications:
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years' experience in a fast-paced client-service intensive industry – hospitality and retail backgrounds preferred
- Able to pass a state mandated background check
Additional Qualifications:
- Computer & equipment operations necessary for running an office/retail center (POS systems; Word; Excel; office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)
