Curaleaf FL is seeking a Part-Time Store Associate who will be responsible for ensuring each Curaleaf patient receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment, assist members with their personal needs, maintain solid product knowledge, facilitate new membership and member renewal processes and always provide the highest level of customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards.
- Develop and maintain rapport with our patients, vendors, service providers and staff.
- Ensure members' concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate member requests and/or problems to management when needed.
- Recommend, select and help locate the proper medicine for patient depending on their individual needs.
- Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to patients clearly and effectively.
- Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
- Set up and break down display cases daily. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.
- Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
- Frequently maintain dispensary's cleanliness, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Summary The Lead Dispensary Associate is responsible for assisting the Dispensary Management team in all operational aspects of running the dispensary and ensuring each patient receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment. Our clinics meet all HIPAA and Department of Health regulations. At Choice Med Group, we utilize a streamlined process using proprietary software allowing physicians to focus on caring for the patient and thus alleviating the burden of onerous paperwork required by the Department of Health.
Candidates must have an active, unrestricted license as a physician under Chapter 458, F.S., or osteopathic physician under Chapter 459, F.S. and successfully complete a 2 hour course offered by either the Florida Medical Association or the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
Our practice locations are in Brandon, Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Wesley Chapel.

Purpose
This Advanced Farmer position is responsible for executing their daily role within the Propagation department at a highly productive and efficient pace to achieve the weekly objectives. This role is responsible for a variety of duties to maintain the mother plants and clone from them as instructed by leadership. This position must fulfill their role with efficient productivity and accuracy. The Advanced Farmer role must participate in their job with professionalism and safety, consistently. The Advanced Farmer will report to the Leads of Propagation and Supervisor of Propagation.
Essential Duties
Procedures & Tasks
- Follow the instructions to complete duties and tasks asked by the leadership of the department to maintain the mother plants and clone from them.
- Supporting the maintenance of the Propagation areas as instructed by leadership of the department. Cleaning and maintaining all areas, equipment, and material throughout the work area.
- Ensuring accurate and legible logging of a variety of paperwork and labels.
- Supporting the organizing and securing of all METRC tags.
- Manicuring and defoliating plants to maintain health and optimize yields.
- Preparing and loading tables as necessary. Ensuring the accurate scanning of METRC tags for newly loaded plants.
- Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work, such as, harvesting, trimming, packaging, cleaning and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
Workspace and Material Maintenance
- Supporting the Leads and Supervisor of Propagation to guide and train Propagation department members to maintain proper organization of the cultivation
- Ensure organization and cleanliness of immediate work area.
- Contribute to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the work area.
- Participate with efficient productivity and teamwork when resetting areas in the Propagation department.
- Contribute and support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.
- After use of equipment or supply, follow through with cleaning and organizing SOPs.
Compliance and Reporting
- Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
- Report any improper action of compliance regulations.
- Following instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.
- Reporting data input as instructed for METRC plant tags.
Supervision
- Works under the direct supervision of the Leads of Propagation and Supervisor of Propagation.
- This person will be asked to lead, guide, and train team members in the department to assist and support the Leads of Propagation and Supervisor of Propagation, but they will not be asked to discipline associates.
Job Requirement
- This position is expected to perform duties at a highly productive and efficient pace, consistently.
- To apply for a new position, employees must have served within this position for at least three months before submitting the Grow Transfer Request form to direct supervisor (unless otherwise approved by the Manager of department).
Working Conditions
- Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Working in warmer, agricultural conditions, wearing cover-all uniforms for protective layering.
- Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Consistent on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts. Prepared for full 40 hour week working scheduled shifts with occasional overtime shifts to complete daily and weekly objectives.
- Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
Job Qualifications
Work Experience
- At least three months experience in the Farmer role or higher in the Production department to apply. Must be in good standing for the last three months at least to apply. Must pass the Advanced Farmer (Propagation) Test to be accepted in the role.
- One year of work experience in a related industry or work environment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment preferred.
- Demonstrates ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements.
- Demonstrates high attention to detail.
- Demonstrates professional and respectful demeanor towards others. Demonstrates respectful verbal and written communication capability.
- Knowledge and background in cannabis cultivation required.
- Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the State of Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Marijuana Regulatory Agency Enforcement Division.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
