Role Responsibilities
- Train for and adapt to several roles in the dispensary to meet day-to-day requirements: greeting fellow staff and customers, waiting room service, checkout service and inventory management are areas of proficiency
- Assess individual customer needs by asking questions regarding their lifestyle and relationship to cannabis, then carefully listening to responses to determine what type of product or consumption method to recommend
- Adhere to and promote a culture of compliance as it pertains to state and company regulations
- Participate in continuous training to further knowledge of cannabis strains, cultivators, and applications

Minimum Qualifications:
- No experience is necessary!
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
- Ability to track and maintain scheduled assignments.

The employee will be responsible for:
- Executing security services as they are outlined in the post order manual and accompanying policy and procedural guidelines as directed by P4.
- Standing/Sitting for extended periods of time
- Identifying and reporting security threats, unsafe conditions, hazards, and/or other emergency situations.
- Site-specific duties and tasks based on assignment, which may include customer service, loss prevention, retail security, lobby/visitor reception, loading dock security, crowd control, and/or a variety of other safety and security roles.
- Writing detailed, accurate, and legible incident reports during the shift, including notation of any unusual activities and how issues were resolved.
- Following all company procedures and policies, maintaining acceptable attendance, and adhering to all customer service standards.

- Learn the ins and outs of the point of sale system
- Review and assist in receiving all deliveries with diligence and accuracy and in accordance with company and state regulations
- Create effective organization and information gathering for all inventory regarding special patient orders, employee patient samples, and weekly deals
- Track various sales metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Assist with training of staff according to company guidelines
- Assist in conducting nightly and monthly inventory audits in accordance with company and state guidelines to ensure there is no diversion of inventory, and effectively respond to discrepancies
- Prepare and effectively lead state inspectors through unannounced inspections
- Maintain records for all necessary documents: delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and monthly inventory counts, necessary employee and customer information, log books, inventory adjustments, and destruction reports
Role Requirements
- Experience in a retail management position for 2+ years required
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff members and managers
- Working knowledge of inventory and sales reports
- Familiarity with IL Cannabis Program rules and regulations.
- Ability to acquire a state credential by passing required background check and any other requirement listed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proven organizational skills.
