The role of the Wellness Guide is to provide the customers with an exceptional and educational experience while providing excellent customer service. The Wellness Guide is to develop, maintain and service long term relationships with clients and partners in the cannabis industry. They will educate the consumer on consumption methods, purchase limits, general regulations, and product knowledge.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reports to Gerneral/Store/Assistant Manager
- Deliver a positive and friendly experience by engaging the client through conversation and service
- Educate the client regarding our products and their effects
- Contribute to the overall atmosphere by being compassionate, respectful, and helpful to others
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases using TREEZ platform
- Manage all aspects of sales, set up new clients in sales order system, enter sales orders and dispense change to the customers

Physical Demands
- Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, iPad, receipt printer, and other point of sale equipment.
- Frequent moving, reaching, and grabbing.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching and moving up to 20 lbs.
Required Education and Experience
Experience in a high-volume customer service role for 1-2 years.
Experience working in a team-oriented role for 1-2 years.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 21+ and possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.

The Cannabis Retail Guide is responsible for engaging with our customers to educate and ensure the best possible purchasing experience.
Cannabis Retail Guide Responsibilities:
- Responsible for greeting customers and/or patients
- Face to face interaction with customers - must maintain appearance and personal attitude
- Check in members, verify age and validation of identification
- Maintain online menus and platforms
- Must be able to multitask (process orders on online platforms/ notify sales team of incoming online and phone orders)
- Deliver company's retail promise to every person and patient while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Communicates effectively with customers to drive sales while providing excellent customer service.
- Educates customers on the various strains, uses, and methods of delivery
- Demonstrates working knowledge and complies with all state/ municipal laws and regulations
- Quickly and efficiently operates the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Ensures overall cleanliness of the sales counter and back counter
- Acts with integrity and honesty while actively promoting the culture and the values of the company
- Ability to anticipate customer and store needs by assessing the store
- Maintains a professional demeanor during periods of high volume or stressful situations while setting a positive example for the shift team.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require in the direction of management.
Requirements:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old
- Must be able to pass a background screening (Live Scan)
- Obtain at least 1 year of retail experience
- Cannabis experience not required but a plus
Physical requirements:
- Able to stand, sit, bend for a minimum of 6-8 hours
- Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
Work environment:
- Primarily a heavily trafficked retail setting in a canais dispensary with moderate noise levels and direct exposure to cannabis products.

The Dispensary Cannabis Guide is primarily responsible for aiding patrons and patients through concierge-level service. The Dispensary Cannabis Guide conducts day-to-day operations within the retail location while adhering to company policy and industry regulations.
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Adhere to the company mission statement and core values, while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism
- Provide outstanding, accurate customer service to patrons by answering or appropriately directing questions and concerns

HES is seeking a Dispensary Cannabis Guide to delivering customer service and offering a distinctive shopping experience that drives sales results. The Dispensary Cannabis Guide is primarily responsible for aiding patrons and patients through concierge-level service. The Dispensary Cannabis Guide conducts day-to-day operations within the retail location while adhering to company policy and industry regulations.
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Adhere to the company mission statement and core values, while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism
- Provide outstanding, accurate customer service to patrons by answering or appropriately directing questions and concerns
- Lead tours of sales floor within the store, making product recommendations based on ongoing research of products available
- Retain thorough and comprehensive knowledge of the patient and member benefits, discounts, coupons and promotions, encouraging memberships for medical guests
- Abide by-product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing
- Operate cash register, computer-based POS system, and cash drawer
- Work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction, and that compliance goals are met by designated timelines
- All other job duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Experience with customer service in retail
- Excellent computer, mathematical, language and reasoning skills
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Excellent multi-tasking skills over the phone and in person

Service
- Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge, offering a full-service experience and/or simple service depending on the customer’s needs.

- Delivers consistent best-in-class service that exceeds our clients’ expectations and builds a long-term rapport

- Answer telephone calls from customers, schedule appointments as necessary, and support any other administrative functions;
- Provide support to prepare for audits;

Qualifications:

- Must have reliable mode of transportation;
- High School Diploma or GED;
- At least 2-years of experience working in retail, hospitality, or health care organization;
- Ability to cultivate long-term customer relationships;
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment;

- Passion for customer care and thirst for cannabis knowledge;
- Basic computer skills, familiarity with point-of-sale systems, and cash handling experience;
- Strong attention to detail;

- Availability to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts;
- Must be at least 21 years of age;
- Must pass a thorough internal and external background check including a criminal history check by the State Police and FBI;
- Must obtain a Dispensary Registration Identification Card from the local governing department.
