The Senior Scientist (“Scientist”) is a key member of MHL's Operations team. This position works throughout the Department, where needed, with various functional teams to ensure MHL's Operations function moves forward smoothly.

What will you do?
Operations Support
- Collaborate with R&D and Operations colleagues to support the production team with the development and implementation of advanced methods of distillation, purification, separation and any other processing.
- Support MHL in developing and implementing, as needed, updated methods and systems to ensure best practices are utilized in processing.
- Support Operations with trouble shooting of processes and equipment.
- Bring a statistical approach to process development and process control.
Quality Support
- Collaborate with Quality colleagues to ensure efficient generation, analysis, review, and approval of data required to release products or qualify new equipment/processes.
- Set up and operate various analytical methods and devices.
- Interpret analytical data for purposes for release and evaluation questions.
- Define protocol by which various analytical or process equipment is qualified, validated or calibrated.
Research & Development
- Develop, scale-up and implement selected process chemistries that improve or introduce commercial products.
- Design and perform experiments to develop fundamental understanding for the successful scale-up and operation of new and existing process unit operations.
- Design and perform scale-down/scale-up experiments to demonstrate process unit operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with academic and commercial institutions to further the understanding and research of complex ingredient chemistries, manufacturing processes and novel scientific applications.
General Support
- Establish and monitor team's performance, development, and delivery goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct continuous appraisals, and adjustments.

Qualifications / Educational Requirements
- BS Degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, or related discipline, required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a research and development environment with exposure to natural products.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in wet chemistry/laboratory operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the operation of analytical instrumentation and interpretation of results.
- Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask while advancing their respective function.

What is this role? The Assistant Manager, Supply Chain ("AM") is a crucial member of our supply chain team, reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain; this position supports the supply chain function in planning, procurement, vendor communications, logistics, and related matters across all aspects of our business. What are the duties and responsibilities?
Department Strategy and Function
- As part of the Supply Chain team, develop, execute, and continually improve MHL's strategic supply chain plan to support the company's growth and ensure its path is clear to achieve its long-term goals and objectives.
- Work closely with our commercial and operations teams for all supply, inventory, lead time, and pipeline matters to effectively communicate and present critical supply chain matters to department management.
- Represent the organization externally as the contact for supply chain-focused vendor relationships.
Technical Documentation Development and Support
- Assist with the development, updating, implementation, and review of department metrics, Key Productivity Indicators (KPIs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Works with colleagues within and outside the Supply Chain team to establish and maintain systems of KPIs and metrics to demonstrate and benchmark the company's performance.
Operations
- Support department with developing and implementing advanced internal reporting capabilities through managing and utilizing the company's enterprise resource planning and business intelligence systems.
- Planned, coordinated, and executed the annual budget process, including periodic reviews. Work through the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) system to ensure all supplies needed to complete the planned production schedule are available on time and in the required quantities.
- Coordinate Quality appropriately to qualify suppliers and third-party manufacturers.
- Assist with vendor negotiations to obtain attractive pricing and desired deliveries for all purchased goods and services.
- Evaluate supplier options and manage contract database and service agreements to determine appropriate vendors for MHL requirements (pricing, Quality times, etc.).
- Must follow hazardous waste procedures when selecting, marking, labeling, inspecting, moving, or otherwise handling dangerous waste containers or reading and applying federal and or/state hazardous waste regulations or record keeping requirements.
What education and experience will I need to be successful?
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field is required.
- 2-Years of industry-based (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or hemp/cannabis industries) operations experience is required.
- Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP) experience is preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.

Job Summary:
The Senior Scientist, Organic Chemistry (“Scientist”) is a key member of MHL's research and development team. This position is responsible for all strategic research and development involving organic and medicinal chemistry, including, but not limited to, internal and external R&D initiatives.
The Scientist will be ultimately responsible for the development of MHL's synthesis and discovery platform and will contribute to the development and attainment of the organization's innovation goals. In addition to the R&D components of the role, the Scientist will be tasked with determining new areas of scientific exploration based on market demand and evolving industry and scientific dynamics. Hemp farm looking to hire a knowledgeable, hard-working Assistant Grower for our Loveland and Fort Collins sites. This is a full time position for Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm, but this may change depending on the company’s needs. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: watering, plant care, pest management, cloning, planting, harvesting, processing, shucking, trimming, cleaning, general labor, etc. This is a very challenging, but rewarding job for the right person. Do not apply if you do not enjoy working hard everyday and always trying your best. We produce some of the best Hemp genetics and finished products in the industry, and this is an amazing learning experience for a developing grower. Come ready to learn and sharpen your skills.

Are you hardworking and dependable and looking to join our U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company maintenance department on 3rd shift as an Electronic Technician in Nashville, Tennessee? If yes, then please read more to apply.
You will be expected to install, service and repair electrical equipment, components and controls within the manufacturing facility to maintain daily operations.
Your job duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Strong safety orientation
- Inspecting and testing equipment components
- Installing new and repaired equipment components
- Performing preventative maintenance and housekeeping activities and to ensure assigned work areas are maintained to meet high safety standards
- Ability to work from drawings and manuals in troubleshooting, repairing, installing and/or calibrating electrical equipment and devices such as distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers, motors, sensors, transformers, starters, relays and switches
- Interpreting schematics, manuals and specifications to determine procedures
- Preparing logs and reports to record work summaries and test results
The Electronic Technician will also actively and continuously support continuous process improvement initiatives in a team-based environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States and for the Altria family of companies
- Available to work on any shift, and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
- Must possess three (3) or more years of experience as Industrial Electronic Technician
- Have preferably completed an apprenticeship or journeyman's card, technical school, equivalent military technical training, or an industrial technology degree
- Background in troubleshooting and installing Microprocessor based digital control, programming variable frequency drives/Servo Drives and other Industrial Electronic Equipment
- Background in Windows Operation Systems to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and DOS
- Strong grasp of NFPA 70E arc flash ratings and standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to trace and diagnose malfunctions using hand tools and test equipment such as multi-meters
- Experience with 3-phase 240/480 volt power distribution systems
- Experience in robotics troubleshooting
Compensation:
The starting wage for this position is $33.75 per hour.

Hemp farm looking to hire a knowledgeable, hard-working Assistant Grower for our Loveland and Longmont sites. This is a full time position for Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm, but this may change depending on the company’s needs. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: watering, plant care, pest management, cloning, planting, harvesting, processing, shucking, trimming, cleaning, general labor, etc. This is a very challenging, but rewarding job for the right person. Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in greenhouses and outside in all weather conditions
- Must have reliable transportation and show up on time everyday
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and be physically active all day

- Must be able to maintain positive attitude and perform in stressful situations
- Must be able to communicate with managers and other employees as needed

Pay is $14/hr to start with opportunity for advancement after probationary period. Must submit copy of resume with references or your application will not be considered. · Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs
· Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement; ability to use concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to write correspondence and reports
· Excellent organizational skills
· Basic knowledge of Liquid Chromatography, CPC and HPLC
