POSITION SUMMARY
The Nursery Lead is responsible for maintaining proper plant health throughout the cultivation process. This role will assist the Nursery Supervisor in remaining compliant with all safety regulations and will provide assistant supervision to the Nursery Technicians.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work with Nursery Supervisor to develop, refine and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training program for nursery
- Lead the nursery department to meet production demand, quantity and quality of ready to flower plants
- Assistant supervision of Nursery Techs including mentoring and feedback
- Record accurate information and ensure all tracking is compliant with government regulations
- Manage plants in early and late vegetative growth
- Maintain plant scheduling and organization week by week for all stages of growth
- Project stages of plants and growth to determine optimal times for transition into flower
- Oversee standard nursery tasks such as watering, transplanting, spacing, topping, and pruning
- Monitor standard cultivation tasks such as spacing, trellis, weaving and spreading
- Perform other duties as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Previous supervisory experience
- Knowledge of the entire cannabis growth cycle

- Staff consumer-facing marketing activations such as in-store demos and events at retail.

Position Summary
Applicator is a Tech Role. Responsible for all applications to plants. Chemical applications, foliar and chemigation/inoculation of medium, as well as Biological Control Insect applications. Help ensure that the crop is pest free from clone to harvest.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Handle, Mix, and Apply Organic Pesticides, Fungicides, Inoculums
- Perform all applications to plants of all growth stages. This includes: all pesticide/fungicide applications, Biological Control Insects, and yellow sticky tape
- Work with Fertigation Supervisor to make sure all tanks are dosed appropriately
- Document all pesticide/fungicide usage in inventory control sheets
- Track PPE and other application supplies
- Document all PPE cleanings and replacement dates
- All application equipment is cleaned and triple rinsed at the end of each application
- Make sure Pesticide Storage Room is clean and organized
- Help with scouting of plants and general sanitation of grow spaces
- Adhere to all Company Environmental, Health and Safety Policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check – certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state cannabis licensing regulations.

Position Summary
Night Security Guard shall be responsible for observing and reporting any suspicious activity during the night shift. While on duty, ensure no damage is done to the facility or product. When necessary, maintenance will be conducted on equipment and systems if issues arise during night shift.

1) Qualifications:
a. 5+ years commercial agriculture experience or 2+ years commercial agricultural experience with a master’s degree level agricultural related degree.

2) Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Tissue Culture Lab with primary oversight responsibilities including initiation, production planning, media preparation, sterilization, and tracking plants.
b. Overseeing the tissue culture process and keeping accurate records and presenting the results in a timely manner to the appropriate supervisors and executives.
c. Provide training new technicians; supervise tissue culture production employees.
d. Manage related equipment and related service schedules for grow rooms, autoclaves, hoods etc.
e. Media preparation: mixing necessary chemicals, growth regulators and gelling agents for daily media preparation.
f. Ensure all employees are operating safely and following all company health and safety standards. Serve as safety coordinator and primary lab emergency contact.

The R&D Manager reports directly to the COO.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the department’s resources with the goal of meeting or exceeding all deadlines and expectations.
- Ongoing development of R&D department and team within Raaja
- Develop new innovative products.
- Manage the new concept development and production scale up process.
- Support production continuous improvement with ongoing R&D support and responsiveness to production issues.
- Accurately maintain R&D project records, proactively providing status reports as required.
- Collaborate with Operations to achieve project objectives.
- Research & Development of cannabis recipes and processes
- Maintaining current knowledge in food, flavor and color ingredient trends and innovations
- Ongoing R&D leadership driving novel/strategic product development for Raaja
- Documentation and capture of novel formulations, process and IP to add long term value to Raaja
- Conduct research in areas including cannabis and food regulation and process validations.
- Liaise with the internal compliance director to be current with regulations for all active markets.
- Develop Labels to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Participate in the Packaging Validation process.
- Liaise with suppliers for new products and ingredients.
- Source new ingredients to aid in the innovation process.
- Participate in the RFP process.
- Review and sign-off specifications.
- Manage sensory evaluations for commercialized products.
- Identifies and advances quality and process improvement opportunities.
- Keep current with changes in technologies and regulation for the markets where we do business.
- Lead and mentor direct reports while providing developmental opportunities when available.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the food industry
- 2+ years of experience leading teams
- Experience working successfully with customers and suppliers

Position Summary
The Flower Section Supervisor works with the Cultivation department in the flowering cycle of a cannabis plant. Responsible for crop care and maintenance; meeting crop schedules and goals. General

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work with Director of Cultivation to develop, refine and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training program for flower rooms.

Role & Responsibilities
Inventory & Cost Accounting
· Manage the forecast and accounting of raw materials and inventory by working with the Finance Team and Director of Operations.
· Liaise with vendors in the procurement process as required.
· Maintain data and records for inventory cost, purchasing, receiving and related accounting within the inventory and accounting systems.
· Preparation and analysis of production, costing, and Finished Goods inventory batch reports comparing factors affecting pricing and profitability, and tracked within accounting systems.
· Inventory management, including managing the physical inventory count conducted by the Operations team, and monitoring the cycle count system.
· Review, analyze, track inventory and reconcile stock variances; provide management with monthly inventory reports.
· Represent Finance/Accounting on teams designed to improve operations, reduce costs, etc.

Accounts Payable & Treasury
· Manage the full-cycle California Payables function for inventory and facility costs, and ad-hoc recurring payments.
· Work with the Corporate Controller and VP Finance to submit/review/approve invoices and related payments through the banking processes.
· Maintain data and accounting system records for invoices received, and processing of related payments.
· Manage the on-site cash processes and maintenance of cash management and accounting controls.
· Manage the on-site procurement and expense management for the facility and staff on ad-hoc basis.
Month-End
· Lead the reconciliation of the month-end inventory, batch reports and accounting system.
· Maintain and record journal entries for prepaids, capital assets, payroll accruals, and ad-hoc processes as required.
ERP System
· Be a champion member in the implementation and training of a new ERP system.
· Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls.
· Maintain data within, and provide suggestions for improvement of data maintenance and reporting within the system.
Education/Experience
· 2+ years of Costing & Inventory management experience in a Manufacturing Plant or CPG industry.
· University Degree and/or Post-secondary education in Accounting or a relevant field.
· Advanced System & Excel Skills; including use of V-LOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting.
· Experience with QuickBooks or accounting software
· Strong ability to manage and analyze multiple sources of and types of data.

Position Summary:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Vice President, Sales: Manage, build, and strategize the growth and launch of a multi brand cannabis product portfolio.
- This position will be responsible for assembling two regional sales teams, for both the California and Washington regulated cannabis markets.
- Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.
- Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
- Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth.
- Manage the use of budgets.
- Hire and develop sales staff.
- Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets.
- Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.
- Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 5+ years in a B2B or Retail Sales Director role.
- Experience in the cannabis industry is not required but familiarity with the market is preferred.
- Must be 21+, have reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check.
- A demonstrated capability in excel and other relevant software.
