Summary Description
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager with the supervision of daily operations of the store. The Assistant Store Manager’s primary goal is to ensure that Outstanding Customer Experiences are delivered while simultaneously ensuring their Key Performance Indicators are met or exceeded. The Assistant Store Manager actively leads the day-to-day operations of the dispensary to ensure smooth and efficient Team performance and Outstanding Customer Experiences. Outstanding Customer Experiences are achieved through these three management pillars: Operations Management, Team Member Development, and Inventory Management.
The Assistant Store Manager effectively participates in the supervision of daily operations of their store when they:
- Assist with the management of all Team Members to ensure an outstanding customer experience is being provided in a safe and welcoming environment.
- Ensure register balances, daily closeouts, and daily deposit reconciliations are thorough and exact.
- Write and deliver store schedules on-time, according to the master schedule, and ensure the schedules are
- adhered to.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the dispensary in accordance with company policies and best practices.
- Act as the Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicator goals specific to the role.

- Ensure Team Members are performing all inventory and Point of Sale tasks accurately so that the integrity of physical and logical inventory is maintained.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and the Purchasing Manager to determine promotions, pricing, and purchases.
- Escalate product issues to the Purchasing Manager and Store Manager, as needed.

The Store Manager actively leads store operations to ensure smooth and efficient Team performance and outstanding customer experiences. Outstanding customer experiences are achieved through these three management pillars: Operations Management, Team Member Development, and Inventory Management.
The Store Manager effectively manages the operations of their store when they:
- Ensure the satisfaction and safety of all visitors and customers and that outstanding customer experience is being provided.
- Achieve KPI goals for retention, P&L management, net revenue, and customer retention.
- Oversee the Manager-On-Duty to ensure register balances, daily closeouts, and daily deposit reconciliations are thorough and exact.
- Achieve proper staffing by ensuring store schedules are on-time, according to the master schedule, and implemented effectively.
- Ensure company policies and best practices are observed in all store operations and by all Team Members.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Summary
The Purchasing Director is responsible for all cannabis procurement and ensuring we have the right products available at the right times. The Purchasing Director partners with the marketing and retail teams to determine product needs, then works to source, purchase and receive products. The Purchasing Director makes purchasing decisions by using data, staying current with local market trends, and having the ability to anticipate future shifts in demand. This role manages all cannabis vendor relationships and partnerships. The primary goal of the Purchasing Director is to ensure the optimal supply of product to meet customer demand.

The Purchasing Director takes data and analytics driven action when they:
- Analyze sales and inventory reporting on a weekly and monthly basis and take action based upon results and trends

- Monitor and manage inventory levels and purchasing to ensure optimal product mix that is reflective of customer demand and covers the store inventory needs
- Create promotions and manage price changes consistent with inventory levels and sales demand
- Perform regular local competitive analysis to ensure the appropriate market positioning of products pricing
The Purchasing Director effectively manages the operations of their department when they:
- Ensure that products are delivered in a timely manner, and that the quality of the goods received is satisfactory
- Ensure the accurate receipt and entry of inventory in the seed to sale system and the Inventory Management/POS software
- Partner with Marketing teams and Store Managers to ensure the appropriate merchandising of products

- Facilitate communication with vendors to complete product returns, refunds and tracking credit

The Team Leads assist the Manager-on-Duty and Store Manager in leading sales activities for Cannabis Guides on the Sales Floor. Reports To
Team Leads report to the Manager-on-Duty daily during their shift and to the Store Manager for personal development.

Team Leads lead by setting a good example, their behavior is consistent with the standards set in the Team Member Handbook and company training courses. Team Leads assist the Manager-On-Duty and the Store Manager during each shift by ensuring daily operations and performance metrics are met through these essential principles: Sales Floor Presence, Store Operations, Communication, and Organization.
Sales Floor Presence
- Team Leads maintain awareness of the Sales Floor to anticipate Customer and Store needs; they are the first point of contact for Cannabis Guide questions and support at the Point of Sale (POS) System.
- Team Leads help Team Members be PartyReady throughout their shifts and able to properly present sales/special offers to Customers.
- The primary role of the Team Lead is to support Cannabis Guides with continued learning and education on the Company’s Mission, Purpose, Values, and Key Performance Indicator Targets.
Store Operations
- Team Leads assist with In-Store product handling and help the Manager-On-Duty confirm that Orders/Deliveries are accurate.
- Team Leads communicating issues with inventory labeling (including ratio and lifestyle) to the Product Team for the Store.
- Team Leads assist the Store Manager and Manager-On-Duty with inventory audits as needed. Communication and Organization
- Team Leads are the first level of response for routine Customer concerns and involve Store Management as appropriate.
- Team Leads proactively resolve issues with Case Display, Product Tagging, and Store Organization.
- Team Leads help delegate tasks to Cannabis Guides in slow traffic times according to what the Manager-On-Duty has planned.
- Team Leads work directly with the Manager-on-Duty to communicate, redirect and solve concerns as they occur on the Sales Floor.
Knowledge
Team Leads must be knowledgeable of all Company Policies, Processes, Procedures, Sales Techniques, Store Sales Objectives, Key Performance Indicator Target. Team Leads must be proficient in using Company Technology Systems to correctly sell Cannabis and non-Cannabis products. Team Lead must also have a well-rounded understanding of the Cannabis Industry to support Team Members in the delivery of an Outstanding Customer Experience. Team Leads must comply with State Regulations, Directives, Policies, and Safety Procedures.
Team Leads must be committed to their own personal growth and development and invest additional time learning how to build their leadership skills. An internal learning system is provided for continued education and enrichment. Team Leads will be responsible for completing all courses in a timely manner.
Experience and Required skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented role for 2-3 years
- Must be self-motivated, showing initiative and resourcefulness for individual projects.

Summary

- Ensure accuracy of cash in till.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory in the Point of Sale System (Cova) and seed to sale system.
- Participate in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store.

Physical Demands
- Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, iPad, receipt printer, and other point of sale equipment.

Sales Floor Presence
- Team Leads maintain awareness of the Sales Floor to anticipate Customer and Store needs; they are the first point of contact for Cannabis Guide questions and support at the Point of Sale (POS) System.
- Team Leads help Team Members be PartyReady throughout their shifts and able to properly present sales/special offers to Customers.
- The primary role of the Team Lead is to support Cannabis Guides with continued learning and education on the Company’s Mission, Purpose, Values, and Key Performance Indicator Targets.
Store Operations
- Team Leads assist with In-Store product handling and help the Manager-On-Duty confirm that Orders/Deliveries are accurate.
- Team Leads communicating issues with inventory labeling (including ratio and lifestyle) to the Product Team for the Store.
- Team Leads assist the Store Manager and Manager-On-Duty with inventory audits as needed. Communication and Organization
- Team Leads are the first level of response for routine Customer concerns and involve Store Management as appropriate.
- Team Leads proactively resolve issues with Case Display, Product Tagging, and Store Organization.
- Team Leads help delegate tasks to Cannabis Guides in slow traffic times according to what the Manager-On-Duty has planned.
- Team Leads work directly with the Manager-on-Duty to communicate, redirect and solve concerns as they occur on the Sales Floor.
Knowledge
Team Leads must be knowledgeable of all Company Policies, Processes, Procedures, Sales Techniques, Store Sales Objectives, Key Performance Indicator Target. Team Leads must be proficient in using Company Technology Systems to correctly sell Cannabis and non-Cannabis products. Team Lead must also have a well-rounded understanding of the Cannabis Industry to support Team Members in the delivery of an Outstanding Customer Experience. Team Leads must comply with State Regulations, Directives, Policies, and Safety Procedures.
Team Leads must be committed to their own personal growth and development and invest additional time learning how to build their leadership skills. An internal learning system is provided for continued education and enrichment. Team Leads will be responsible for completing all courses in a timely manner.

- Manual dexterity needed for computer usage and keyboarding skills.

- Ability to drive to various locations.
