We are currently seeking a driven and charismatic Wellness Guide that aligns with Mary Modern’s mission, vision and values to ensure daily operations are performed at peak efficiency. The ideal candidate is data driven and has a passion for process excellence, a drive for results, and the ability to lead and influence.
The role of the Wellness Guide is to provide the customers with an exceptional and educational experience while providing excellent customer service. The Wellness Guide is to develop, maintain and service long term relationships with clients and partners in the cannabis industry. They will educate the consumer on consumption methods, purchase limits, general regulations, and product knowledge.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reports to Gerneral/Store/Assistant Manager
- Deliver a positive and friendly experience by engaging the client through conversation and service
- Educate the client regarding our products and their effects
- Contribute to the overall atmosphere by being compassionate, respectful, and helpful to others
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases using TREEZ platform
- Manage all aspects of sales, set up new clients in sales order system, enter sales orders and dispense change to the customers
- Exhibit a familiarity with current products and trend awareness
- Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards; ensure that merchandise is ticketed, and the sales floor is stocked
- Upholds the security and confidentiality of client data within area of responsibility
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to management
- Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures
Skills & Qualifications:
- Have a passion for and interest in cannabis
- Cannabis knowledge or cannabis industry experience such as; cannabis product categories, methods of consumption, explain infusion, extraction, and other methods regarding the production of products
- Knowledge of basic computer skills and point-of-sale software
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and a team player mentality
- Possess effective and positive communication skills in both written and verbal forms
- Ability to learn and adapt in a changing environments
- Ability to make medical cannabis recommendations
- Ability to deal with problems and resolve them in an efficient and professional manner
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to speak and hear clearly
- Treats people with respect, keeps commitments, works with integrity and ethically, and upholds organizational values
- Observes safety and security procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses equipment and materials properly
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms
- Ability to be on feet, standing, walking majority of shift
- Ability to be outside in all weather conditions when required
- Must comply with company dress code and or uniform requirements
- Consistent bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, and lifting at least 50lbs
General Requirements:
- Muse be 21 years of age or older
- Able to pass background check and valid Driver’s License
- Must be fully vaccinated for this role
- Flexible availability required
- Demonstrate proficiency in job knowledge (i.e. register controls, selling guidelines, etc.)
Education & Experience:
- High school education or GED equivalent required, (AA or Bachelor’s Degree a plus)
- Previous retail or customer service experience required
- Previous experience working in a dispensary preferred but not required

The ideal candidate for this key position is highly skilled at developing and implementing a robust social media and marketing strategy based on data and other resources.
Creative Director responsibilities include:
- Deliver innovative creative concepts and campaigns that resonate with target demographics and result in R.O.I.
- Maintain top brand standards across all platforms and throughout the organization.
- Manage high volume of work and project calendars under tight deadlines.
- Display proficiency with asset management and organization.
- Work collaboratively and positively with co-workers, developers, clients, vendors and agencies to ensure all projects are optimized and on target.

We are seeking an experienced, passionate Team Lead to lead our team and create exceptional experiences for our customers! An ideal candidate will have the perfect blend of cannabis store management and hospitality management experience in addition to strong leadership and development skills.
The Team Lead is responsible for motivating and developing the store team, driving sales and profitability, assisting on marketing campaigns and local partnerships, setting and assisting in executing customer service standards, product management, and cash management. In addition the Team Lead acts as a representative of the company with enthusiasm, positivity and complies with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assistance developing and training of staff
- Drive sales by ensuring guests receive high quality service
- Upholding the brand standards and operating all aspects of the dispensary under the direction of the General Manager
- Oversee dispensary team
- Handle all returns, exchanges and employee purchases
- Ensure all opening and closing duties are completed and the venue is completely secured before departing at night or opening in the morning
- Report all relevant operational information to General Manager/Store Manager
- Handle customer issues and concerns
- POS updates and maintenance in conjunction with inventory personnel
- Collaborate with human resources to ensure compliance with all pertinent employee rules and regulations
- Execute marketing efforts as directed by the marketing team
- Execute quarterly all staff meetings and scheduled cleanings
- Assist with quarterly shift lead reviews, 90-day reviews for new employees as well as annual reviews for all line level staff
- Manage floor to ensure staff is on task at all times
Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be able to input and access information in the POS system, delivery systems, marketing outlets, computers, etc.
- Must be comfortable learning new skills
- Must have a hands-on, proactive management style
- Perform all job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
General Requirements:
- Must live in San Francisco.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Able to pass background check and valid Driver’s License

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or one or more years of management experience preferred

What will you do?
- Provide exceptional customer service; greet and engage every customer
- Maximize every selling opportunity by suggesting products to fit the customer’s needs and highlighting current promotions
- Establish and build relationships with customers
- Provide thorough product knowledge and answer any inquiries regarding price, features, and benefits to enhance customer engagement
- Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with established cash control procedures and customer service guidelines including cash drawer audits and reporting
