Position Summary:
The Purchasing and Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for purchasing, procuring, and project managing orders for Standard Wellness Company and its subsidiaries. This includes Standard Wellness Ohio, Utah, Missouri, Maryland, and any other company needs. The role requires a high level of record keeping, supply chain management, and collaboration with departments, especially accounting/finance. In addition to fulfilling orders, the role requires a strong understanding of strategic ordering and spending. The Purchasing and Procurement Coordinator will engage frequently with the production facilities’ receiving/inventory personnel to implement inventory reconciliation protocols. The role also includes end of month purchasing and inventory reports. This role is intended to be based out of our offices in Cleveland, OH, with a potential to work from home/remote a couple days a week once trained.

Job Summary
The Purchasing and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing the purchasing of all supplies for the SLANG Colorado Manufacturing facility, as well as physically and systematically receiving deliveries at the facility. This is a physically demanding job that requires lifting, standing, and moving heavy production materials (up to 50 lbs.) within the facility.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage the purchasing of raw production materials and consumables
- Maintain and manage vendor relationships, contact information, and current list of items procured from each vendor ERP.
- Coordinate with purchasing and supply chain managers to ensure materials are set at the proper par levels.
- Receive incoming production materials and consumables into quarantined areas for further inspection and release.
- Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate.
- Generate and report on ERP work orders when necessary
- Prepare shipments for transfer between manufacturing and distribution facilities
- Maintain overstock area
- Send invoices and manifest to accounting for processing, and ensure price matching on POs
- Assist with packaging department when necessary
- Maintain clean workspace and ensure surrounding area is clean and free of tripping hazards

Who are we?
The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) is the agency responsible for regulating the sale and service of alcoholic beverages in Oregon by administering the state’s Liquor Control Act and regulating the sale of recreational marijuana in Oregon through the Control, Regulation, and Taxation of Marijuana and Industrial Hemp Act.
The agency is comprised of three major operational programs; the Distilled Spirits Program, the Recreational Marijuana Program, and the Public Safety Program. All three programs are supported by the Administration, Financial Services, and Support Services divisions. Revenue generated from these programs helps support state and local government programs.
What will you do?
The Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator facilitates the distribution center inventory management program for liquor that is sold in the statewide retail liquor store system. This position assists with the gathering and statistical analysis of sales data, ordering parameters, the special handling of discount merchandise, and communicating product information to suppliers, carriers, liquor sales agents, agency staff and the buying public. This position is the liaison between liquor manufacturers, suppliers, liquor agents, and the Commission.
What are some of the supporting duties?
Pricing:
- Create computer file records for all new items and coordinate the pricing of all items entering the system; prepare all pricing and product status changes for reports furnished to liquor agents monthly.
- Process requests from liquor suppliers for addition of new items to the Oregon market; compile statistical data for review by Listing Committee and Commissioners to consider new items for addition to product line; attend Listing meetings.
- Make telephone and personal contacts with general public, government agencies, liquor store personnel and local and national liquor industry representatives regarding liquor pricing, purchasing, shipments, bailment inventories, special orders, rules and regulations.
Product Management and Evaluation:
- Coordinate product line evaluation by gathering and preparing data to aid the Purchasing and Distribution Director and other staff in deciding when to add (list) or remove (delist) items from the product line.
- Analyze program content and effectiveness to ensure compliance with statutory administrative requirements.
- Review and analyze suppliers’ marketing strategies, product availability, and other factors that might affect the stocking levels required in the warehouse.
- Review suggested liquor orders from automated inventory management system, make adjustments as needed and order liquor from suppliers.
- Review vendor managed inventory level to maximize service level and warehouse space utilization.
Inventory Movement and Analysis:
- Recommend to suppliers an increased or decreased allocation of stock quantity requirements.
- Maintain control of inventory management system through continued analysis of procedures and adjusts system to meet changes in needs, requirements and resources.
Purchasing Liaison:
- Administer the Liquor Post-Off Programs by reviewing and approving item discounts, scheduling purchases and determining adequate quantities to buy.
- Coordinate and facilitate Listing Meeting with manufacturers, suppliers and liquor agents.
- Assist the Special Orders Coordinator in stocking product that is outside the purview of regularly stocked items.
- Serve as the liaison to industry stakeholders including manufacturers, suppliers, craft distilleries, distillery representatives of Oregon, liquor store agents, as well as internal stakeholders in the Purchasing and Distribution Center.
- Assist new stakeholders through the listing process and requirements associated with getting their items listed in Oregon.
- Other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our 1906 family on a Contract/Temporary basis! This position will report directly Director of Operations, and will be a minimum duration of 12 weeks.
The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for connecting with vendors and maintaining continuous accurate inventory for all aspects of 1906, including raw ingredients for our tablet production, packaging, supplies and other materials, intermediate and end cannabis products, in process and packaged for sale inventory, while remaining compliant with state/federal, and other regulatory authorities and organizations. They are also responsible for purchasing production supplies.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, monthly and annual inventory control and reporting
- Manage production and operating supplies purchases including purchasing, receiving, shipping and reporting
- Create and maintain weekly, quarterly, and annual departmental inventory audits schedules.
- Maintaining all documentation and facilitate audits required to operate compliantly with all governing bodies
- Manage inventory control by directing, assisting, training, and distributing inventory workload to maintain cannabis inventory compliance
- Manage par levels of inventory and ensure incoming supplies to the production facilities are received, inventoried, and managed appropriately to eliminate shortages
- Manage department specific control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies, and discrepancies are noticed, addressed and resolved timely
- Manage and coordinate required annual inventory audit and inspections for the cultivation center
- Source and implement inventory control tools to ensure compliant operation as the production centers scale
- Provide routine management updates and reports on inventory performance
- Coordinate continued process and operations improvements with operations managers through use of Root Cause and Corrective Action
Required or Preferred Skills, Abilities, Licensures and Certifications:
- Ability to quickly create and modify processes and procedures to suit each department's inventory control needs
- Ability to work successfully independently and autonomously, in addition to high communication skills for inter-departmental and vendor working relationships
- Must have a valid Colorado MED Badge or the ability to obtain one.
- Prior experience working in a purchasing capacity in the nutraceutical, food, or beverage industry.

Job Description
As the Purchasing Coordinator you will be accountable for the planning, inventory management, and procurement within the entire operation at our Hazel Park, MI and Kansas City, MO facilities. The role will work both internally and externally to ensure that all elements of these inputs are covered in order to maintain efficient operation throughout the supply chain and maintain all stock levels supporting the facility's needs. Job requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or minimum of three years' experience in a similar role

Overview:
Following policies set forth by the Company in concert with the Executive Management Team, provide support in the general operation of the company through vendor selection, negotiation of terms, and execution of purchasing agreements to supply retail locations with marijuana product inventory. Monitor market trends, maintain purchase order organization, manage invoicing, and oversee the verification of incoming shipments.
Essential Functions:
- Schedule and execute external product acquisitions for multiple retail locations
- Liaison with 3rd-party vendors to schedule pickups/deliveries, receive shipments, verify order product counts, improve supply chain efficiency, and oversee dispersal of compliant products to retail inventory teams
- Provide timely order confirmation and acceptance
- Collaborate with Dispensary Management and the Sales Department to integrate logistics with existing business systems including without limitation; sales, purchase allocation, order management, accounting, and order fulfillment
- Coordinate delivery schedules to sustain and control sufficient inventory levels across multiple internal & external retail locations
- Implement, and execute a Purchase Order organization method
- Verify PO accuracy with Inventory Control Teams
- Maintain vendor relations through positive and thorough communication
- Acquire, review, validate, and compile required vendor licensing documentation
- Compile and disseminate compliance documentation for internal product destined for multiple Company retail locations
- Support accounting with invoice management efforts
- Maintain business process and customer relationship management documentation
- Fulfill assigned responsibilities in line with procedures set forth by all department Standard Operating Procedures and subsequent training
- Other duties as assigned

JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for procurement across multiple sites, overseeing replenishment of materials and supplies. The Purchasing Coordinator places purchase orders and works closely with our supply base and warehouse team to maintain optimal inventory levels and support production continuity. The Purchasing Coordinator will assist in new market launch, ensuring that our purchasing process is standardized and replicated effectively. Responsibilities also include identifying best-cost solutions for direct and indirect purchasing needs and collaborating cross-functionally to facilitate timely material replenishment.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Responsible for all direct and indirect material replenishment across multiple processing and cultivation sites
- Lead supply chain activity in support of new market launch, including implementation of forecast into reorder-point system, negotiation of equipment purchase and training of new hires
- Ensure standardization and compliance of Supply Chain processes across multiple sites
- Actively seek out and identify cost-out opportunities, presenting recommendations
- Research and resolve product and/or receiving discrepancies
- Expedite past-due purchase orders and communicate delivery schedules to the team
- Track and report out on inventory levels and supplier performance
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- 3+ years of purchasing experience (manufacturing background preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
- Associates Degree (preferred)
- High level of organizational skill
- Deadline driven and detail oriented
- Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all company departments and employees
