Summary:

Scope of Responsibilities:

Laboratory Analyst:
Minimum Requirements:
BA or BS Degree in Related Science & 2 years relevant experience; or an Associate’s Degree in Related Science & 5 years relevant experience.
Each Analyst is responsible for coordinating with the Laboratory Director and Senior Analyst to provide accurate and timely analytical data (if applicable), lab tasks and sampling for clients. This is accomplished by:
- Keeping records of sample pick up and drop off and maintaining records of this according to SOP?s and procedures.

Duties Description
The incumbent of this position will research, analyze, and develop policy recommendations for the adult-use, medical and cannabinoid hemp programs.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare cannabis material and conduct research to develop policy positions on a variety of economic, compliance and social issues for public agencies and authorities implementing State cannabis regulatory requirements.

The Higher Commitment Analytical Laboratory is now hiring staff for our cannabis testing laboratory in Nevada City, California. We are looking for motivated, self-starting team players to work in an exciting and challenging analytical lab environment. Scientists with a background in an accredited, analytical lab and/or the cannabis industry are especially encouraged to apply. Pincanna is hiring a Metrc and Testing Analyst to join the compliance team. This person will help the Metrc Team Lead keep all plants tagged and organized, in accordance to MRA rules. They will also liaison between Pincanna and the laboratory testing services and help coordinate the samples that must be tested.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize Tagged Plants and Tagged Packages, under all grow licenses
- Create and manage package tags from cultivation events
- Complete audits for all plants and packages in every growth phase in METRC and update accordingly
- Follow established procedures for creating packages when necessary and applying physical and virtual tags to those packages.
- Liaison between cultivation, processing and the laboratories.
- Ensure all samples sent to testing follow the appropriate documentation and compliance procedures

As a result, the Cannabis Program is well-positioned to pilot new technology solutions that will ultimately also benefit the entire bureau.
