Wrazel is looking for a full-time Social Media Intern to work out of our Newport Beach, CA headquarters. The social media intern will provide both administrative and general support for the Director of Marketing as well as help support other senior team members. This role will have the ability to get involved in digital projects and social media campaigns to help drive user signup and marketplace adoption on Wrazel.
In addition to project management, copywriting and general social media duties, you'll be called on to present forward-thinking social marketing ideas to acquire new users, and be able to collaborate with internal design, development, and management teams.
Our ideal candidate will be ready to hit the ground running, have a collaborative and can-do attitude, an eye for design, and a passion for social media engagement.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform, primarily LinkedIn, to increase the visibility of the company’s social content.
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
- Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines, and select optimal forms of media for projects.
- Work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables
- Collaborate closely with Wrazel team members to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist for technical companies or industry.
