Job Summary
The Wholesale Account Manager is responsible for managing wholesale accounts, acquiring new business, assisting with new products launches and driving sales for our wholesale department. We are looking for a sales-oriented individual that can build strong relationships with our wholesale partners and serve as a brand ambassador for our products and services. This position works with the sales team and cross-functional partners to meet our financial forecast and obtain year over year growth. The Wholesale Account Manager reports directly to the State Wholesale Manager.
Duties and responsibilities
- Execute all sales efforts for our wholesale accounts.
- Develop new accounts, drive sales with existing accounts and establish key customer relationships
- Meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Monitor customer, and competitor trends and provide a periodic market analysis
- Maintain regular communication and perform a rotation of dispensary visits with our customers
- Schedule, coordinate and execute events to promote our brand and educate our partners and patients on our products
- Build upon our existing base of customer relationships and industry expertise
- Provide regular updates on the status of our wholesale accounts
- Develop promotional plans, advertising programs, and educational initiatives to drive sales with customers
- Source and monitor new business opportunities and assist with sales contracts
- Maintain and update a database of contacts for each of our wholesale partners
- Create excitement and coordinate the launch of new wholesale products
- Solicit wholesale orders and assist in the customer facing fulfillment process .
Qualifications
A strong track record in B2B sales- Bachelorâs degree and/or at least 4 yearsâ experience in B2B wholesale sales preferred
- Proven results with achieving growth and building customer relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent people and time management skills
- Ability to recognize and respond to changing trends and priorities
- Knowledge of and experience in the cannabis industry preferred, but not required
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines

JOB SUMMARY:

Job Summary -

The Account Manager, Wholesale (Michigan) is accountable for forging, fostering, and maintaining accounts for Ascends wholesale business. The ideal candidate has an exceptional grasp of the cannabis wholesale landscape, is able to garner positive relationships and delivers world class customer service to Ascends clients. The Kana Shoppe just launched its own manufactured products a few months ago. Our goal going into the 2020 season is to begin curating wholesale accounts. The primary responsibility will be to garner these wholesale accounts and then manage them.
