Job Description
The Brand Ambassador is responsible for executing Garden Remedies' Wholesale Brand Ambassador Program in Massachusetts and promoting wholesale transactions. The goals of this role include promoting the organization’s wholesale and brand portfolio across all dispensary and store partners by activating retail and lifestyle marketing initiatives, promoting and closing sales, as well as actively contributing to building a strong company culture with employees and retailers in the field. In this role, you will close sales and work with your manager to win new business in your assigned territory.
The goal of this role is to drive sales growth with our existing wholesale retail partners. The Brand Ambassador will conduct both in-store, customer facing demonstrations; as well as be responsible for creating and managing relationships with advocates / budtenders and following through with sales purchase. It will be about (80%) travel based, with 3-4 visits per week to retail locations and the remaining days planning and assisting the Field Sales and Event Manager with sales initiatives.
The Brand Ambassador is someone who will represent and embody our brand with our retail partners and their customers, and someone who will be at the forefront of bringing Garden Remedies cannabis products to the state of Massachusetts.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts in-the-field hands-on training for retailers (i.e. Cannabis Advisors or budtenders) to optimize the customer experience and in-store sales through demos and merchandising
- Executes creative, premium, productive and efficient retail demos, events and merchandising initiatives
- Contributes ideas and delivers opportunities to weekly retail schedules and daily mission plans
- Adheres to all product training curriculum and brand standards
- Attends and actively participate in all product training seminars and workshops
- Works with Field Sales and Event Manager and Wholesale team to contribute to organizational sales growth within retail partners

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in wholesale market
- Sales experience is a plus
- Familiarity of the local market - both from a navigational and social/networking standpoint
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the year by car. Hours spent- 4 visits per week with one day remote/office work for planning
- Willing and able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Experience in consumer-facing presentations/sales is a bonus
- Proven experience creating long lasting client relationships
- Familiarity with basic computer and mobile hardware and systems - desktop, tablet, mobile
- Demonstrated ability to serve a diverse customer base
- Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to engage people from all age-groups in conversation

The Inventory Specialist at Garden Remedies is a position responsible for managing location inventory through database and maintains levels required daily. This is accomplished by actively performing appropriate day-to-day activities as needed in alignment with dispensaries goals and needs. He or she must work closely with Dispensary Inventory Manager and retail staff to ensure inventory compliance digitally through METRC as well as physically.
It is instrumental that the Inventory Specialist has a clear understanding of Leaf Logix and Metrc. This person is responsible for compliant inventory practices, both in Leaf Logix and in Metrc. They must adhere to the regulations concerning medical and adult use cannabis put forth by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.
Along with ongoing development of your job description, immediate responsibilities for the role of Inventory Specialist include:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Tracks and monitors Garden Remedies Inventory
- Ensure inventory is not within Garden Remedies expiration guidelines
- Assists with month end inventory counts at all retail locations; Questions and investigates when counts don’t match
- Prepares manifest for product being returned to the production facility
- Reviews incoming manifests in Metrc and LeafLogix to ensure they are accurate
- Ensures all product has a barcode so it can be sold through the POS
- Enters incoming apparel and accessories into LeafLogix

Qualifications and Skills:

JOB SUMMARY
The Dispensary Supervisor assists with the day-to-day operations of dispensary (retail store) and provides support for the management team. This position is responsible for maintaining best-in-class customer service while ensuring compliance to all applicable regulations and company standards. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide best-in-class customer service to customers
- Follow and uphold established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products and strains in the store as well as industry-wide product knowledge, and train and share that knowledge with other members of the team
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of product, and communicating inventory action items with the Assistant Manager and General Manager
- Assist all Dispensary Associates in the consultation of all customers to ensure that the employee is informed of the right product choices by being knowledgeable of how different methods of cannabis consumption affect customers differently
- Complete and appropriately delegate tasks assigned during scheduled shift, including:
- Correct cash handling
- Accurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Accurate and timely data entry in both the POS system and inventory tracking system
- Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
- Ensure adherence with security measures and safety compliance
- Maintenance of an organized and clean store
- Management of visitor log
- End-of-day daily update emails

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Title: Inventory Manager
The Inventory Manager will be responsible for inventory recording, compliance, demand vs. supply, forecasting sales trends, and accuracy in all phases of the retail sale of cannabis products in the dispensary. The Inventory Manager will need to communicate directly and transparently with the inventory team. This role will help bring the brand to life, creating a comprehensive seasonal, annual, and long-term inventory strategy in partnership with the Operations Manager, the Director of Retail Operations, and all store level functional partners to exceed targets.

- Openly communicate with inventory team about mistakes and foster development
- Ensure inventory records are always accurate
- Manage end-to-end inventory. This includes buying planning, inventory category and SKU level buying, allocation, and sales reporting.

We are seeking an Analytical Chemist to join our R&D team in Newton, MA. This role requires 3+ years of analytical laboratory experienc a BSc in Chemistry or a related science. Experience with GC, GC/MS, and HPLC a must, experience in GC/MS/MS and/or LC/MS/MS a plus. This team member will need to be familiar with, or have the ability to quickly learn, a wide range of analytical and sample prep techniques to ensure we are delivering quality products.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support to analytical research team utilizing a variety of analytical equipment including GC, GC/MS, GCQQQ, LC, LC/MS, LCQQQ, ICPMS, and NMP, among other equipment types
- Work independently with project assignments, or collaboratively on group projects/programs.
- Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
- Perform QC sample testing of materials and products
- Utilize pipette and syringe based techniques for liquid measurement
- Calibrate and utilize analytical scales or balances for sample weight or mass determinations
- Login and retain samples for future evaluations
- Follow sample chain-of-custody protocols
- Prepare reagents and standard solutions
- Compile an inventory and maintain stock of laboratory supplies and chemicals
- Maintain logbook records of testing analyses as well as other records as required
- Diagnose analytical system problems and provide solutions as needed
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance and repair of instruments and equipment as needed
- Perform system qualification and calibration of required equipment as needed
- Assist in training new laboratory personnel
- Clean glassware, refill/replace items/solutions as needed
- Perform basic waste disposal per state regulations
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals and products
- Conduct stability tests and studies following approved stability protocols
- Assist in approving and releasing materials from inventory for use in product manufacture and/or clear products for sale
- Assist in the investigation of product complaints, including the recording of all testing information
- Procure R&D requested samples as required
- Compose, review, and edit standard operating procedures
- Learn new procedures and complete training in the operation and use of new equipment as required
- Support laboratory manufacturing as needed

Job Qualification Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
- QA/QC Experience
- Adept with GC and LC operation, including MS applications and hardware
- Minimum 3 years' experience with non-academic analytical chemistry
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field

Title: Inventory Shift Lead
The Inventory Shift Lead is responsible and accountable for all aspects of quality control, products entering and leaving the Vault and assisting with managing the Inventory Specialist team including receiving wholesale deliveries.

- Coordinate and manage delivery receipt of products performing tasks including but not limited to accurately counting, weighing, labeling and recording all Marijuana Infused products when accepting a wholesale delivery. Any & all corrections must be done before the transport crew leaves the store.
- Deliver results and strategic direction by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly on all inventory management and flow.
- Works alongside the Inventory Captain/s to train new team members.
- Manage discrepancy reporting in Leaflogix and our SOP sharefile inventory system ensuring things are rectified and communicated to eliminate loss.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge.
- Responsible for leading the Fulfillment (Pack) Room, including organizing order tickets, assisting with fulfilling orders, and restocking any low products or batch swaps.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of product, and communicating inventory action items with the Inventory Control Manager
- Monitor inventory controls to conduct monthly inventory reviews and annual comprehensive inventories of medical marijuana at the facility. A written or electronic record shall be created or maintained of each inventory finding and the employee identification numbers, titles or positions of the person who conducts the inventory.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
- Must be able to accommodate opening and closing shifts
Qualifications and skills:
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in any field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years combined dispensary, call center, retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Excellent computer and technical skills, including experience with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing terminals.
- High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
- Must be comfortable adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions and decimals, and high-volume cash handling

Job Description
The Inventory Specialist at Garden Remedies is a position responsible for managing location inventory through database and maintains levels required daily. This is accomplished by actively performing appropriate day-to-day activities as needed in alignment with dispensaries goals and needs. He or she must work closely with Dispensary Inventory Manager and retail staff to ensure inventory compliance digitally through METRC as well as physically.
It is instrumental that the Inventory Specialist has a clear understanding of Leaf Logix and Metrc. This person is responsible for compliant inventory practices, both in Leaf Logix and in Metrc. They must adhere to the regulations concerning medical and adult use cannabis put forth by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Tracks and monitors Garden Remedies Inventory
- Ensure inventory is not within Garden Remedies expiration guidelines

- Prepares manifest for product being returned to the production facility
- Reviews incoming manifests in Metrc and LeafLogix to ensure they are accurate

JOB SUMMARY

Assistant Manager
Job Description
The Assistant Manager (ASM) oversees day-to-day operations of their dispensary location in the absence of the General Manager. This includes but is not limited to managing all staff at this dispensary location, ensuring successful compliant operations and high-level customer service. The Assistant Manager is responsible for creating the daily staffing schedule making sure the dispensary is properly staffed at every shift.
The Assistant Manager reports directly to the Dispensary General Manager. The Assistant Manager is responsible for communicating any policy changes to the staff and implementing directives from the Dispensary General Manager in a timely manner. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting operations of their dispensary location including but not limited to retail sales, inventory management, product intake, POS troubleshooting, education, onboarding of cannabis advocates. This requires high level communication skills as this person must communicate with both upper level management and internal dispensary staff and may act as a spokesperson for the Dispensary or retail operations.
Finally, this position is responsible for dispensary employees’ strict adherence to laws and regulations concerning medical and adult use cannabis put forth by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.

Management of Dispensary Personnel
- Assists in the creation of the staffing schedule for the dispensary location to ensure sufficient staffing for successful operations.
- Works closely with the General Manager to manage scheduling and shift times for optimal operations of the dispensary.
- The ASM is responsible for securing the dispensary. S/he will be "on call" and responsive to all alarm calls and will ensure the dispensary is always secure. The ASM will partner with our security team to ensure all the proper documentation is supplied to our Director of Security.
- The ASM will possess exceptional time-management skills and flexibility to adjust to meeting continually changing business needs.
- The ASM will possess excellent customer service skills; this position requires one on one patient interactions.
- The ASM has a flexible schedule and is available to work any hours including weekends, nights and holidays.
- Empowers store staff to deliver high quality customer experiences.
- Assists the General Manager with scheduling regular meetings to check-in with dispensary personnel, receive feedback and communicate directives.
- Conducts shift meetings for every shift to communicate any product changes and other directives for successful operations during that shift when the General Manager is not present to do so.
- Follows the plans, identifies, communicates, and delegates responsibilities to the dispensary personnel to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the store as needed.
- Makes sure all operations carried out in the dispensary are in compliance with the regulations set forth by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.
- Reports daily sales.
- Works closely with the GM to ensure successful implementation and follow through of compliant procedures regarding inventory, especially METRC and the POS system.
- Oversees all purchasing and check-in of products in METRC, the POS system and physical inventory.
- Changes product display and tags as needed to most accurately portray product availability to consumers.
- Changes out inventory as needed, updates all menus online and in store and communicates to staff all changes
- Oversees cash handling, provides change to drawers when needed and reconciles the cash drawers at close each night both physically and in the POS
- Ensures compliant managing, selling, and packaging of inventory
- Communicates product knowledge, changes, pricing and promotional sales to dispensary personnel at every shift meeting to ensure successful implementation and operations
- Interfaces with potential vendors and collaborators representing the brand in an honest, respectful and appropriate fashion
- Supports Cannabis Advisors and Keyholders and is available to communicate with any unsatisfied customer or customer who needs a bit more support
- Works with the Training Coordinator to communicate product knowledge in a timely and effective manner to dispensary personnel
- Receptive to feedback and directives from upper level management
- Remains available for and receptive to feedback from staff, management and ownership teams
- Communicates appropriately, effectively, and timely in both in person and email communication

Overview

In this role with Curaleaf, Drug delivery chemists apply their research techniques from pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals, with a focus on improving cannabinoid delivery and developing novel cannabinoids. You will work in our R&D lab optimizing and developing cannabinoid delivery technologies with a focus on improving the pharmacokinetics, metabolic pathways and distribution. You will also explore and develop the synthesis and purification of novel cannabinoids.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must have experience in drug delivery and/or nanotechnologies
- The primary focus will be exploring and developing cannabinoid delivery systems; liposomes, conjugation, co-crystalizing, nanoemulsions, etc.
- Analytical instrumentation skills for compound identification
- Synthetic organic chemistry skills, including purification and identification of products
- Broad understanding of biology and biological functions and how drugs work
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills are required. In most cases, a large, interdisciplinary team will decide which compounds should be synthesized and tested, so the medicinal chemist needs to work well with everyone on the team
- Communication skills—medicinal chemists often have to write reports and present the results of their research. They need to be able to communicate clearly with other chemists, with other types of scientists, and with nonscientists
EDUCATION
- Master's degree or higher
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience in drug delivery, synthetic or organic chemistry
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
- Drug Delivery (and/or nanotechnologies) chemists must be familiar with chemical research methods, data analysis, and mathematical equation modeling
- They need an analytical mind to conduct objective, precise and thorough research
- When working with pharmaceuticals, they need a critical mind to evaluate potential problems with both their own and others' research projects
- Once their work is completed, a medicinal/drug delivery chemist must be able to communicate his findings to others who are nonscientists and scientists alike

Job Description
The Inventory Specialist at Garden Remedies is a position responsible for managing location inventory through database and maintains levels required daily. This is accomplished by actively performing appropriate day-to-day activities as needed in alignment with dispensaries goals and needs. He or she must work closely with Dispensary Inventory Manager and retail staff to ensure inventory compliance digitally through METRC as well as physically.
It is instrumental that the Inventory Specialist has a clear understanding of Leaf Logix and Metrc. This person is responsible for compliant inventory practices, both in Leaf Logix and in Metrc. They must adhere to the regulations concerning medical and adult use cannabis put forth by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.
Along with ongoing development of your job description, immediate responsibilities for the role of Inventory Specialist include:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Tracks and monitors Garden Remedies Inventory
- Ensure inventory is not within Garden Remedies expiration guidelines
- Assists with month end inventory counts at all retail locations; Questions and investigates when counts don’t match
- Prepares manifest for product being returned to the production facility
- Reviews incoming manifests in Metrc and LeafLogix to ensure they are accurate
- Ensures all product has a barcode so it can be sold through the POS
- Enters incoming apparel and accessories into LeafLogix
- Maintain FIFO, first in first out
- Performs daily inventory counts; Questions and investigates when counts don’t match
- Adjust inventory levels in LeafLogix daily
- Performs inventory movements between licenses
- Works with upper management for price adjustments
- Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be 21 years of age
- Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission
- Ability to sit and stand for extended period of time
- Ability to frequently lift and store product
- Ability to occasionally lift product weighing up to 50lbs
- Ability to operate standard office equipment such as but not limited to computers, scanners and printers for extended period of time

The Brand Ambassador is responsible for executing Garden Remedies wholesale brand ambassador program in Massachusetts. The goals of this role include assisting the organization’s wholesale and brand portfolio across all dispensary and store partners by activating retail and lifestyle marketing initiatives, as well as actively contributing to building a strong company culture with employees and retailers in the field.
The goal of this role is to drive sales growth with our existing retail partners. The Brand Ambassador will conduct both in-store, customer facing demonstrations; as well as be responsible for creating and managing relationships with advocates / budtenders. It will be about (80%) travel based, with 3-4 visits per week to retail locations and the remaining days planning and assisting the business development manager with sales initiatives.
The Brand Ambassador is someone who will represent and embody our brand with our retail partners and their customers, and someone who will be at the forefront of bringing Garden Remedies cannabis products to the state of Massachusetts.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Conducts in-the-field hands-on training for retailers (i.e. Cannabis Advisors or budtenders) to optimize the customer experience and in-store sales through demos and merchandising
- Executes creative, premium, productive and efficient retail demos, events and merchandising initiatives
- Contributes ideas and delivers opportunities to weekly retail schedules and daily mission plans
- Adheres to all product training curriculum and brand standards

This position starts as part-time (around 32 hours/week), but has the potential to be a full-time position at 40 hours/week. You will be in charge of getting our elite product from the distribution centers to dispensaries across California. We're a rapidly expanding company with lots of room to grow. All of us -- from the accountant to the sales reps -- started on the van. It's a way to get in the door and learn about our company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Loading van with product
Driving van to dispensaries
Delivering the product to dispensaries
Collecting payment and signatures from store managers
Filling out forms properly after each delivery
Skills/Qualifications:
Over 25 years of old (this is for insurance reasons)
A clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs

Job Description
The responsibilities of the Cannabis Advisors (CAs) within Garden Remedies, Inc. (GRI) broadly embrace the key areas described below. The most critical role is to ensure outstanding customer service and cannabis knowledge within our adult use cannabis dispensary. Working within a team, the CAs are the point of contact for all patients/customers at our dispensary. Outstanding communication skills, the ability to assess our customers’ needs and providing detailed information about our products is required. Our CAs will assist in developing GRI’s brand: you will be required to deliver GRI’s customer service standards and to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Duties:
- Provides high level boutique customer service that consistently exceeds customers’ expectations.
- Accountable for accurately utilizing the Point of Sale system, inventory management and the MA state databases.
- Follows and executes compliant practices adhering in accordance with state regulations and GRI’s standard operating procedures.
- Promotes a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and rooted in education
Responsibilities:
- Maintains extensive knowledge of the cannabis industry and GRI’s products
- Engages with consumers to better understand the consumers’ desired experience so that they can make informed product recommendations to best suit the needs of the customer
- Remains knowledgeable of GRI’s product inventory and is able to easily explain the benefits of the specific products and the methods of titration in a way that is understood by all customers
- Maintains a level of intellectual curiosity regarding the benefits of cannabis medicine.
- Practices fine dining level customer service by providing extraordinary attention to the customers needs while communicating information of products honestly. Must go above and beyond to try and effectively answer customers questions and concerns.
- Practices empathetic client care utilizing active listening, eye contact, welcoming body language and warm tone of voice. Must be sensitive to different customers needs and be able to adapt accordingly.
- Is knowledgeable about MA compliance and reporting regulations and how it relates to customer purchasing limits.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and well merchandised store environment.
- Acknowledges any inventory issues and properly reports them to management.
- Completes other duties as assigned in a timely and appropriate manner.
Qualifications:
- Has cannabis knowledge and is up to date on current trends in the industry
- Three years’ retail experience in a team environment
- Familiar with online databases, Point-of-Sale inventory and cash management
- Ability to creatively cultivate long-term customer relationships and maintain a positive attitude in a high traffic retail environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The County of Riverside Code Enforcement Department has a vacancy for a Code Enforcement Officer (CEO) I/II. The CEO will be tasked with performing field work to ensure compliance with Riverside County land use, zoning, housing, abatement and nuisance codes and ordinances countywide. The selected candidate will interview individuals, conduct preliminary field investigations, and issue notices and citations as needed. Additionally, the incumbent will be required to write reports, manage a high-volume case load, and may be required to attend hearings. Candidates with exceptional communication and writing skills are highly desired. The most competitive candidate will be familiar with Riverside County Code Enforcement Ordinances. While the CEO will have an assigned location, they must remain flexible in order to provide coverage at Code Enforcement offices in Perris, San Jacinto, and Palm Desert on an as-needed basis. Incumbents will work a 4/10 schedule which may include a rotating schedule or weekend work with weekdays off. All candidates will be required to complete P.O.S.T. P.C. 832 training prior to the completion of their probationary period.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES
CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER I and II: Ensure compliance with County land use, housing, zoning, abatement, nuisance codes, and ordinances by receiving, recording, and investigating complaints regarding non-compliance. Contact property and business owners to schedule and conduct on-site inspections; advise residents, businesses, and other parties of ordinance requirements and seek to gain voluntary compliance through information and education efforts. Document code and ordinance non-compliance by taking photographs, measurements, and recording all pertinent information from the parties involved; issue notices of non-compliance and when necessary, citations; prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive files, records, reports, and correspondence. Maintain records of inspections and compliance efforts; prepare required documentation for legal actions; may testify in court or administrative proceedings regarding code or ordinance non-compliance; perform follow-up actions as needed to ensure compliance. Confer with related agencies and County departments on disposition of complaints and code non-compliance. CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER II Perform complex code compliance investigations and resolve sensitive compliance complaints or requests; may serve in a lead capacity while out in the field or advise other Code Enforcement Officers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER I and II: License: Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License is required at the time of application. Completion of P.O.S.T. approved P.C. 832 training is required prior to the completion of the probationary period. Physical Requirements: The Code Enforcement Officer may work outdoors and be exposed to inclement weather conditions and various smells such as cannabis, rotting trash, animal feces, urine etc. The incumbent will be required to perform lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 25 pounds, and staking, posting, and swinging a hammer over head. CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER I Experience: One year of technical experience performing duties involving land use, zoning, building inspections, public safety, code enforcement, administration of justice, or abatement work. (Completion of undergraduate coursework from an accredited college or university substitute for up to one year of the required experience on the basis of 30 semester or 45 quarter units equaling one year of the required experience.) Knowledge of: State laws and municipal and County codes and ordinances governing land use and zoning; the elements of planning and zoning; techniques of investigation, including interviewing and fact finding related to code and ordinance compliance. Ability to: Read, interpret, and research laws, rules, regulations, legal documents, legal descriptions, maps, and building plans; obtain information and evidence by on-site inspection and interviews; analyze and compile technical information on code investigations and non-compliance activities; establish and maintain effective working relationships; prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports; operate standard office equipment and computer systems to retrieve and enter data. CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER II OPTION I Experience: One year of technical experience as a Riverside County Code Enforcement Officer I performing duties which involved land use, zoning, building inspections, public safety, code enforcement, administration of justice, or abatement work. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Code Enforcement Department was created in Fall 2006 as a separate department in the Transportation and Land Management Agency (TLMA), the Code Enforcement Department is responsible for protecting the health, safety and welfare of residents in the unincorporated areas of Riverside County. Code Enforcement staff responds to complaints concerning land use, grading, and building code violations related to public nuisances, zoning violations, and other issues that negatively impact the quality of life in our communities. Job Description
The responsibilities of the Cannabis Advisors (CAs) within Garden Remedies, Inc. (GRI) broadly embrace the key areas described below. The most critical role is to ensure outstanding customer service and cannabis knowledge within our adult use cannabis dispensary. Working within a team, the CAs are the point of contact for all patients/customers at our dispensary. Outstanding communication skills, the ability to assess our customers’ needs and providing detailed information about our products is required. Our CAs will assist in developing GRI’s brand: you will be required to deliver GRI’s customer service standards and to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Duties:
- Provides high level boutique customer service that consistently exceeds customers’ expectations.
- Accountable for accurately utilizing the Point of Sale system, inventory management and the MA state databases.
- Follows and executes compliant practices adhering in accordance with state regulations and GRI’s standard operating procedures.
- Promotes a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and rooted in education
Responsibilities:
- Maintains extensive knowledge of the cannabis industry and GRI’s products
- Engages with consumers to better understand the consumers’ desired experience so that they can make informed product recommendations to best suit the needs of the customer
- Remains knowledgeable of GRI’s product inventory and is able to easily explain the benefits of the specific products and the methods of titration in a way that is understood by all customers
- Maintains a level of intellectual curiosity regarding the benefits of cannabis medicine.
- Practices fine dining level customer service by providing extraordinary attention to the customers needs while communicating information of products honestly. Must go above and beyond to try and effectively answer customers questions and concerns.
- Practices empathetic client care utilizing active listening, eye contact, welcoming body language and warm tone of voice. Must be sensitive to different customers needs and be able to adapt accordingly.
- Is knowledgeable about MA compliance and reporting regulations and how it relates to customer purchasing limits.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and well merchandised store environment.
- Acknowledges any inventory issues and properly reports them to management.
- Completes other duties as assigned in a timely and appropriate manner.
Qualifications:
- Has cannabis knowledge and is up to date on current trends in the industry
- Three years’ retail experience in a team environment
- Familiar with online databases, Point-of-Sale inventory and cash management
- Ability to creatively cultivate long-term customer relationships and maintain a positive attitude in a high traffic retail environment.
- Fun attitude and strong work ethic.
- Intellectual curiosity specifically in regards to cannabis medicine
Supervision:
- Works under the general supervision of the dispensary’s management team
- This position is not responsible for supervising other employees
